The Original Spence Cafe is a neighborhood gem that offers high-quality BYOB dining. The food is exceptional, with dishes like crabcake, filet, shrimp and scallop St. Jacques, and seared halibut receiving praise. The atmosphere is a bit formal yet casual, and the service is top-notch, with the owner and staff going above and beyond to ensure a great experience.
The restaurant is a favorite among locals, with an intimate dining experience and excellent menu options prepared by owner and chef Andrew Patton, who is known as one of the best in the county. The backyard patio is lovely when the weather is nice, and the BYOB policy is a bonus for diners. The service is great, and the food is consistently delicious, with specials worth trying. Whether it's a special occasion or a casual night out, The Original Spence Cafe is a reliable choice for a memorable dining experience.
