“We had our engagement party here and it was a dream. Kayla made the process so easy & care free. We are not huge planners but she helped us every step of the way. She was very flexible and accommodating for us. The day of the party everything turned out beautiful. The space is so comfortable and picture perfect! The food and drinks were phenomenal, all of our friends had a wonderful time!“

“Very nice Cafe, it was clean and open. We (grou of 5) went for late breakfast and there was no wait. The host sat us immediately and the server came an took our drink order. The coffee is good, a little strong. We ordered and received our meals within 15 minutes. All of our meals were hot and prepared the way ordered. The server was friendly and checked on us multiple times. The floors and tables were clean; the booth we were in had some damage from use. The bathroom was clean. There is ample parking.

“My partner and I decided to give Andiario a try over the weekend and I can't express how genuinely lovely the entire experience was. The staff were all extremely attentive and knowledgeable while the menu (which apparently changes every week) was delicious and inspiring. I swear I could have the pasta and pheasant for every meal and still be satisfied! I wish I could properly convey just how relaxing and delightful the atmosphere was too. “This was our second visit to Snuff Mill and the food and service is consistently top notch. Shannon provided excellent attentive service and the burrata, Nashville chicken sandwich and Mill salad were delicious and well plated. The manager Kaylee stopped by and we spoke with her for about 10 minutes. She shared upcoming events like the wine pairing dinner and opera dinner. We loved that she was an “active” manager who engages with the patrons and talks with pride about the staff and how they strive for an exceptional experience. Keep up the good work Snuff Mill!!“

“So we took a little trip down energy lane today. We didn't have to look very far. It was 7 to 10 minutes from Brandywine and Trolley Square. Lots of options in either of those places but we were in search of something more personal, something with just the right energry. We arrived and were greeted by Monique who treated us like we were guests in her home- so inviting and such a positive vibe. She let us know there were 2 new owners and they took over about 3 months ago. This just built up our expectations. Would they survive us? Lol When we pulled up to this cozy cafe and we started to explore, we realized it spans larger than you may think if you don't venture beyond the sidewalk. If you don't - then I must tell you in full certainty, you are missing out. You are missing out on an amazing Nacho Zito (shh can not tell you all the yummy stuff in the yummy stuff) I would spoil your fun taking in all the things that are THE THINGS. The Classic Ceaser with crabcake was so beautifully chopped and arranged that I thought it might end there but as I lifted my fork to my mouth and felt the warm salad hit my tonue, the crab cake literally fished the happiness right from my center! This was the most amazing crab cake ceaser. Chefs Kiss! Don't leave without ending this steller experience with an herbal tea and dessert. The peanut butter banana chocolate cheesecake was bliss! Love the fact that all the ingredients are fresh and local, even down to the honey for your teas! Apparently this lil hidden gem hosts LIVE MUSIC EVERY NIGHT! Brunch on Sundays with live music, book clubs, among other entertainment. We did the late lunch experience today. Sunday we will try the brunch but will wait till 12 for live music. Next week we will try Dinner. Stay tuned for the Brunch and dinner review.....we are becoming huge fans of this place with the postively perfect vibe!“

“I've passed this place so many times and finally stopped in. It's a piece of history and a cool old diner. I understood the chicken fingers are frozen so I opted for the chicken breast sandwich and it was WORTH IT!! The charbroil taste was great, best sandwich I've had in awhile. My only disappointment were the fries, pretty tasteless. Overall, I'll return as I've heard their burgers are amazing as well.“

“A great stop to sit down for a quick homemade breakfast or lunch in the Westtown Amish Market. We come to Westtown about once a month and have always had delightful experiences here at H&L!We enjoyed lunch on our most recent visit. My wife had a corned beef sandwich, while I enjoyed the fried fish sandwich with lettuce and tomato. Both meals came with a pickle and potato chips on the side but we chose to upgrade to fries for an extra $3. (As you can see from the photos, we were each offered a generous helping of fries we couldn't finish!)Our waitress was so kind and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed at least twice. We look forward to our next visit!“

“Administrative details - While you usually must make a reservation a year in advance (which I did), there are a very few earlier spots available on their website. In addition, if you are on the email list, they send the occasional last-minute availability. Talula’s is BYOB. The price was $125 and with all the other things, taxes, gratuities, it came to $160. The Nook Table is available for 6-8 diners and the Farm Table is for larger parties. Website link is below. Everything is presented in “tasting” small portions. In addition to the menu, they provided a couple of additional offerings. I did not do a good job of capturing the delightful descriptions of the food provided by our server. (The next time I go, I will video the descriptions if they allow.) The group did a great job of bringing wine which was beautifully poured in appropriate glassware by our server. The server also paired the wine with the offerings for us! The service was exceptional without being pretentious. After each tasting, plates, utensils and glasses were cleared and refurbished so discreetly that you hardly noticed. The menu changes with the “farm to table” availability. My favorite was a squash tarte. [I was delighted to find that I did not like the foie gras. It is “made” in a most inhumane and horrible way. This is the only time I have eaten it and I will never eat it again.] I was sorry to find that by the Black Garlic Beef Ribeye (#6 on the list), I was getting to the point of “too much food.” The only downsides were “too much food” for most of us and the wines they suggested for the pairings were hard/impossible to find. I personally did not like the varieties of wines they suggested for pairings. The rest of the party enjoyed the comparable wines they were able to find and allowed the server to pair with the tastings. I will be making a reservation for next year very soon. I have already made a reservation for the “sister” Talula’s Garden in Philly for September.“

“I’ve been coming to Rebecca’s for most of my life and it remains one of my favorite places to eat. One of the waitresses, Karen, has been serving me their amazing chicken noodle soup since I was a toddler. This place is a staple at Booths Corner and will always be my favorite.“
