Prices are reasonable for brunch. One important thing to note is that they close around 3 p.m., so they’re not open all day—definitely plan to get there early. Also, there’s another nearby location called Nudy’s Cafe Glenn Mills, which can be easy to mix up when meeting someone, so make sure you’re headed to the right one.“

“Scalessa's gave me 2 great things. The first was the happy flashback of eating at Priori's at home. The secons was that Scalessa's food was out of this world. I had the Four Cheese Gnocchi which bards would write poems about. I cannot say enough about the awesomeness of this fine establishment! I will definitely come back when I visit my sister again.👍“

“First time ordering from here tonight and we WILL BE BACK… like a lot. We live in pike creek and will make the drive. We got the red beans and rice, gumbo and tomato soup and we need to try the rest of the menu! My husband and I just got back from New Orleans and my husband was sad because he loved the food so I googled and found this place! The gumbo was literally better than we had down there 😍 SO GOOD. And everyone working when I picked up (one was the owners daughter) were so passionate about how they make everything from scratch and kept giving me samples of everything and telling me their story. It’s a WONDERFUL locally owned place that should be protected at all costs. Cannot recommend enough!“

“This was my third time at Ground Provisions over the past 6 months and I'm a big fan! I've thoroughly enjoyed the multi-course menu with the wine pairing in the dining room and at the Chef Counter. Both areas were lovely but being able to see the food prep at the counter was fun for my son who loves cooking. I also sat at the bar with a friend ordering from the bar menu. “Took the 25 minute drive for our first experience and now I'm hooked. I can see why they sell out of dough each day and keep a consistent customer base. Everyone was extremely polite and friendly. Even got to talk to the owner and one of the employees. Seem like great people. Now to the pizza! We got 3 and 2 of them made it home. That was probably the best margarita pizza I've ever had and I've had many. That pizza was damn good. Almost certain I ate it in about 10 minutes. I do suggest eating it onsite, right out of the oven but we got them home and they were still good. We will definitely be returning. I will gladly take that drive for that pizza.
