“MENU AND FOOD: This street vendor serves a variety of Mexican favorites. SERVICE AND ATMOSPHERE: Service was quick and efficient. They are located on the sidewalk at the corner of Pico and Hobart Blvd and do not have seating. PARKING: They have street parking only. IMPRESSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS: We had their specialty, al pastor tacos, and they were delicious! The meat was perfectly charred, flavored and served piping hot for you to top off with onions, cilantro and salsa to your liking. We will definitely be back the next time we're in LA to try out their variety of other meats!“

“My wife and I went to Sovana on reccomend from the folks at Phillips Mushroom Farm. We are very glad we took did! From the semi-twin ladies opening the doors for us, to the fun atmosphere, to the great food. They compt' my wife's dessert 'cause it was her birthday and made a GREAT Bloody Mary! But even better than all of that was our server, Racquel T. She was fantastic! She was very friendly, made us feel right at home, was chatty but didn't waste time, she knew the menu very well, even though she said she was relatively new. Absolutely delightful...the kind of personality that makes you want to come back. Thank you all for a wonderful time. John G.“

“My friend and I got the mild chicken cheesesteak it was really good you didn’t need ketchup lol it was that good. I guess the best way to describe it would be an Indian version of a chicken cheesesteak because of the spices they use. We also got mild wings which were good as well.“

I only give 4 stars because the food made my mother and I very ill the following day. “A solid ramen spot has been one of the most surprising finds in Newark. Ramen Kumamoto offers a slurp-tastic oasis for noodle enthusiasts and broth aficionados alike. With its good service and cozy dining space, this ramen shop proves that great things sometimes appear in the most unlikely of places.Kicking off our culinary escapade, the Charshu Onigiri and Pork Bun set the stage. The onigiri, a triangle of joy stuffed with charshu, was a hands-on delight, while the pork bun was a pillowy cloud of happiness, complemented by a kick of spicy mayo that whispered sweet nothings to our taste buds.Diving into the heart of the menu, the Miso Ramen was a bowl of soul-warming comfort. The broth, a harmonious marriage of pork and chicken, embraced the miso paste like long-lost lovers reunited. Swimming within this savory sea were wavy egg noodles, well-cooked charshu, kikurage, menma, bean sprouts, scallions, sesame seeds, and a seasoned egg that was like the sun on a cloudy day. Each spoonful was a testament to the art of ramen-making, proving that when it comes to broth, Ramen Kumamoto doesn't just play in the kiddie pool--they're diving deep. Then there was the Mayu Ramen, a darker, moodier cousin with its natural heritage Berkshire pork bone broth, seductively swirled with mayu--a dark roasted leek with garlic oil and a depth of flavor that added a mysterious allure to each bite. The thin straight noodles were the perfect vessel for this rich, complex broth accompanied by charshu, red ginger, kikurage, menma, bean sprouts, scallions, and a seasoned egg that completed the ensemble. It was a bowl that not only satisfied hunger but sparked curiosity, each ingredient whispering secrets of flavor waiting to be discovered. While the compact dining room of Ramen Kumamoto might suggest a limited experience, the reality couldn't be further from the truth. This ramen shop serves up bowls brimming with soul, flavor, and a touch of whimsy, making it a must-visit for anyone that finds themselves in the area for any reason at all.In the culinary narrative of Delaware, Ramen Kumamoto stands as a chapter not to be missed. It's a place where the broth flows rich and deep, and every noodle tells a story. So, if your journey finds you craving warmth, comfort, and a little noodle nirvana, make your way to Ramen Kumamoto. It's a slurp-worthy saga you'll want to experience over and over again.“

“Stumbled upon this restaurant while in the area, and so glad to have! The highlights for our group of 4 were the pints of cask ale, the venison rack special and the sticky toffee pudding!!! Amazing!!We also enjoyed our Scotch eggs, bubble and squeak, bangers and mash, and shepherds pie.Seems like (on weekend night) you better grab a reservation. We waited without one and considered ourselves lucky when some space at the bar opened up well before a table was available for 4.“

“Very generous portion of food and ingredients . I ordered the seafood UDon which got 5 shrimps, 2scallops, two mussel and many other ingredients. Similarly, the spider roll came with generous ingredients. A good portion is soft shell crabber and fresh avacado with little rice which I really like. The quality of ingredients is high. All veggies are fresh. It is tasty and just has a bit room to improve. It is a pleasant surprise to find a Japanese/Chinese restaurant with this quality in the area after a late day shopping. Could be the best in the area.“

“Two Stones pub is a great place. The food is amazing and the service is superb. We stopped in for a quick bit, a party of five. We were seated and chatting amongst our selves for a little while and our server approach our table and proactively apologized for the wait and offered to comp an item on our bill for the inconvenience of the wait. We hadn’t complained at all, this is just example of Two Stones caring to provide an outstanding customer experience and being self aware of the service they provide. All of our food was amazing and the service was top tier. They earned a loyal customer in me for their above and beyond service.“

“Nice atmosphere in between the Harley Davidson drivers craving attention like loud teenagers on State Street. Portions are meager and you’d think pasta wasn’t a dollar per pound. I figured I’d play it safe and order the most expensive seafood/pasta entree on the menu, but it was mediocre. Should have ordered the chicken parm. You know something is wrong when you’re given a roll and pungent humus in an “Italian” restaurant. Then you have to ask for salt and pepper, then ask for butter, and ask and ask and ask and some of the servers act like they’re doing you a favor. There’s little value here.“
“Excellent atmosphere inside and out! Beer selection and food selection are awesome!“

“My family held a private gathering in the back room of Lily on Sunday, October 29, 2023. The entire restaurant knocked our event out of the park. The food was fanastic - appetizers and entrèes - and our guests are still telling us how delicious everything was. Our waitress, Nicole, and our waiter were superb. They handled all the details and were one step ahead on everything. We are so grateful for all that everyone at Lily did to make our party so special. I highly recommend reserving the back room for your next gathering or event. They definitely know what they're doing!!“

“This is a really nice place to stop by and grab something to eat, super casual and laid back and the outdoor area is dog friendly. They even brought my buddy some water, the service was excellent. I highly recommend the onion soup and Reuben sandwich. My husband ordered the Carolina pulled pork sandwich and it was also really good. The drinks are on the pricier side, $14 for a hot cider so definitely something to keep in mind when ordering. The food was fairly priced. Overall i recommend this place and definitely would return.“

“I went with my group on a Thursday which was a very light evening which allowed my group to enjoy our whole dining experience. Our server had time to explain the menu and make recommendation to our group that included a 4 year old. Why is this relevant? Because, she gave her the same respectful service as she did the adults. Thank you. Now let's get to the food. I had the Chicken Picatta. I had to take the picture because at the first bite I new it was about to be destroyed. I left nothing on the plate. The Impossible Sloppy for those who need a vegan option also got a thumbs up. The food comes out hot hot! No one complained! I will be back the next time I am in Delaware.“

“This review was originally posted on the Kennett Square Community Facebook page and it got removed by the moderators. I hope that the owner of Lilianas reads this and knows that the Kennett Square Community Facebook page is removing good reviews of your restaurant. You may want to look into that. Here is my review for the world so that everyone knows how amazing the chicken wings are at Lilianas: Folks, we need to talk about the gastronomic glory, the taste bud tantalization, the scrumptious, soul-satisfying, finger-lickin' ambrosial delight of Liliana's wings. First of all, as I always like to point out, I'm originally from Delco, where the chicken wing wars wage hot and heavy every day of the week. I've seen people almost coming to blows over wing debates, so I'm well-versed in the main requirements of what wing connoisseurs are looking for. First, the wings have to be meaty. They have to be large. They have to be crispy, but they also have to be juicy. They have to be steamy, but the steam can't impart one iota of softness to the skin. While the skin can't be soft, it also can't be, in any way, hard. At the same time, the crunch should be heard across the room. The wings can't be remotely slimy, but they also can't be remotely dry. The meat should cling to the bone, but it should also release from the bone effortlessly when called upon to do so by human teeth. Think of a yin/yang symbol representing all things present in perfect harmony. The wings have to be reasonably priced (well, maybe moreso in Delco than here in fancy-pants Chesco, but I digress.) And of course, it is not just the wings themselves, but the sauce, that is also of utmost importance. It has to be homemade. It must have the right amount of heat. There must be a perfect ratio of butter to other seasonings. It must cling to every exposed surface area and every nook and wing cranny, but it also can't be too thick. At the same time, it most definitely can't be runny in any way, shape or form. There must be a variety of flavors from which to choose. Well, Neighbors (and travelers to our community), let me tell you something. Lilianas knocks it out of the park on all counts, with no exceptions. We went last night right after the awesome community tree-lighting event in Toughkenamon. This was our first time at Lilianas, so we had no idea what to expect. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Upon opening the menu, I noticed right away that they offer individual wings for $1.50 apiece. This is fantastic because it allows for a lot of variety, and the prices are commensurate with other wing offerings in our area. I wanted to go OG hot, but I also wanted to try Lilianas house sauce, so I ordered two of those and two of the Hot. They came out on separate plates, stacked delicately like in a five-star restaurant, and glistening under a veritable river of each sauce, which pooled and spread out to cover 90% of their eight inch plates. "Uh oh," I thought. "That's way too much sauce. They're going to be soggy." But au contraire! I picked one with the house sauce and crunched into it. The flavor blasted through my taste buds like an exploding rocket and activated the pleasure centers in my brain, releasing a deluge of feel-good chemicals as bountiful as the sauce on the plate. After closing my eyes and practically reenacting Meg Ryan's deli scene in When Harry Met Sally, I calmed down for a couple of minutes to check out what ingredients could create such a reaction. I'm sure the recipe is proprietary, but I do know it's like a combination of a garlic-parmesan wing, a hot wing, and an Italian herb wing all wrapped into one, with a LOT of vinegar. The hot wings were legit hot, also with tons of delicious vinegar flavor. For those who love highly seasoned, uber intense, heavy on the vinegar sauces, both of these sauces should be your go-to picks. I am kicking myself for not ordering the sweet chili and the mild as well. The wings I tried check EVERY box lis“

“A nice little pizza shop, I’m happy to have found today at work. They serve a crisp thin crust pizza that isn’t too heavy on the sauce or cheese, and therefore not overly greasy as well. (I know pizza is subjective but that’s exactly how I like it). I thought it was delicious and will likely try a sandwich next time. I’d love to see a chicken ceasar wrap on the menu someday, but there’s plenty of options there now. Very friendly people, and fair prices too. It appears to be take-out only, but there’s a few outdoor tables for nice weather. Ample parking, order from the kiosk inside, credit accepted/cash appreciated. Highly recommended.“

“The food was top notch, a little pricey compared to other places we've ventured to, but not breaking the bank. The bartender was our server, so he was overwhelmed with too many customers, it happens, I've worked in the bar industry that sold food and when your server/servers call in "sick" or "late", u gotta keep on keeping on. So I don't fault him. Will definitely come back, the salsa & chips were YUMMMMMMM! (I'm kind of a salsa snob)“

“I read the other reviews and agree 100% that the fish tacos are the BEST I ever tasted!!!! The 3 young men at the counter woman (chef) were welcoming & pleasant!! I appreciate the suggestion to have them the "traditional" way!!!! Can't recall all that was on it.... But the taste was light, favorable and cleansing all at the same time. I will be going there again and again!!!!!“

“We worked with Chef Jamie and his team to cater our wedding in October 2023, and they were phenomenal. Through the entire wedding planning process, Jamie was incredibly knowledgeable and detail-oriented to ensure we had the wedding we wanted. Jamie worked with us and our wedding venue to plan out every aspect of the flow of the wedding day beforehand so there were no hiccups. The day of our wedding, Jamie and his staff were so attentive and on top of everything, and the entire day went so smoothly. They checked in on us throughout the day to see if there was anything we needed, from a drink refill to more appetizers while doing photos during cocktail hour and their fantastic food during our reception. We have had numerous guests rave about the food at our wedding, and we can’t wait to get back to Daddy O’s restaurant some time again soon.“

“I stopped in and was happy to find I made it in time for happy hour. I ordered the calamari and white peach sangria from the happy hour menu. The calamari didn't have a lot of flavor but the sauces that are served with it added flavor. The white peach sangria was a nice light drink. I ordered the brio pasta and a side chopped salad for my entree. The vegetables in the salad were crisp and tasty. The pasta had no flavor. I had to add a ton of salt and pepper. The service was great!“
