Debated between 4 and 5 stars but decided on 5 due to service and overall experience. We came to look at the University of Delaware and Taverna had great reviews so we booked a dinner there. Amazing dinner. Loved the service and food. We made a reservation, were seated on time and our food came out really quick. This is our second time here and the service and food was as good as our first. Can't wait to go back again.

An outstanding Italian restaurant in downtown Newark. Great menu selection infusing all of your Italian standards that you'd expect and also a decent beer and cocktail offering. We had three couples in our group and the service was quick and everything came out correctly.
