Everything is freshly made with locally sourced ingredients, recipes are well thought out and meticulously made with the absolue best combinations. All baked goods are baked daily on site and are the closest you will get to what heaven is. Service is superb. We ordered appetizers, and specialty drinks, our server Orville was so attentive and definitely knew the menu. The general manager, Maureen stopped by to wish us a happy anniversary and make sure everything was as it should be. The service and food exceeded our expectations, it always does. Maureen seems to be an amazing role model to her staff, she is the manager, but you definitely find her with “hands on”, it’s incredibly obvious how much respect they have for her. “We come here often (Exton pa) and the food is consistently fresh and full of flavor. Today when we went the soda machine was low on Coca-Cola. We alerted the worker at the front (Kevin) not expecting anything from it. Shortly after sitting down to eat he brought us a fresh drink and had fixed the machine. This was the best and most tasty Chinese food I’ve had in a while. Very fresh tasting and they don’t make their food to taste like everything other Chinese spot. “I used to be a regular to Umami and haven’t been back in a while, so I went back today for some lunch and decided to see if the quality has changed since a few years ago and wow was I surprised!! It’s the same if not better! They have great fish and their roll pieces are larger than any other sushi restaurant in the area!
