“First time ordering from here tonight and we WILL BE BACK… like a lot. We live in pike creek and will make the drive. We got the red beans and rice, gumbo and tomato soup and we need to try the rest of the menu! My husband and I just got back from New Orleans and my husband was sad because he loved the food so I googled and found this place! The gumbo was literally better than we had down there 😍 SO GOOD. And everyone working when I picked up (one was the owners daughter) were so passionate about how they make everything from scratch and kept giving me samples of everything and telling me their story. It’s a WONDERFUL locally owned place that should be protected at all costs. Cannot recommend enough!“

“Scalessa's gave me 2 great things. The first was the happy flashback of eating at Priori's at home. The secons was that Scalessa's food was out of this world. Both areas were lovely but being able to see the food prep at the counter was fun for my son who loves cooking. I also sat at the bar with a friend ordering from the bar menu. George the owner packaged our order and packed it so neat and loaded my car. My only regret is not taking pictures of the presentation. Food was delicious; presentation was straight out of a magazine presentation. The price so was reasonable- I almost feel like I robbed them for how good the food was and the price I paid.
