“I have been in the general area most of my life but bought a home about half a mile from this place about 9 years ago. I had given up hope in finding a local Chinese takeout when I accidentally found New Hong Kong. I was really craving Chinese and I was really nervous because I was broke !! lol! But, I knew it would last a couple of days so I splurged. I got the fried dumplings, crab Rangoon and sesame chicken with lo mein instead of rice combo for $26. Generous portions but still skeptical. I got it home and it looked so good. Tasted delicious!! I was pleasantly surprised and it was so good I even called them to compliment them , which I never do! The only complaint I have is the amount of filling in the dumplings was not enough. I mean noticeably empty. The dumpling itself was light and airy and made me wonder uf they used wonton wrappers ( pre made) but still good just not nearly enough filling. The dumpling sauce was different as well and not something I cared for. It was not sweet it was extremely spicy. But, I now have a go to and highly recommend!“

“I am closing in on 40 and have been coming to this restaurant since I was a small child, some of my earliest memories are family dinners at Da Chen. The staff here are amazing— kind, attentive, helpful, and generous. Their house made duck sauce and crispy fried wonton chips ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD. Do not sleep on them if you only ever order take-out! You receive the crispy wonton chips with any soup order, but you have to ask for their homemade duck sauce on the side (costs like 25¢ iirc)!!! My favorite foods from here are: wonton soup, their complimentary jasmine tea, shrimp toast, beef & broccoli, sweet & sour chicken, general tso’s chicken, pork fried rice, and the bao bao platter (it’s such a fun treat eating this for dine-in). You will always receive the same quality service and food here, and somehow over the years it’s even gotten better! Da Chen is child-friendly and has high chairs available to use, and is wheelchair-accessible straight from the ample free parking lot and into the restaurant. Da Chen accepts cash, debit or credit. “Food is delicious, nice and hot! Lady working there was quite pleasant and accommodating. Store was very clean when I came. Floor had just been freshly mopped and smelled of bleach. I placed a big order which was made quickly. Shrimp and broccoli, shrimp fried rice, General Tso chicken, and fried wings. Everything was fresh and very tasty! Will order here again 😋“

My experience with this place has always been great. My whole family loves the food here. The owner is amazing and gracious. Moreover, they are very geared toward service and customer satisfaction. My favorite is Beef Lo Mein, and the other dishes are equally as great.

“Golden Garden has been my go‑to Chinese restaurant for a long time now. I first tried them after being disappointed with another spot, and I’ve stuck with them ever since. “I don't know why the Wok is happy but I know why we're happy! What an enjoyable order that was priced in reality. The happy family that I got was packed with meat and the veggies were done perfect. The crab rangoon was light, sweet and creamy. The sweet and sour chicken was traditional without a bunch of extra stuff. Just chicken and sauce. So good! The sesame chicken was sweet, savory, today but the start of the show was their perfect house mustard. My hair curled! The egg roll was the perfect shuttle for that and the duck sauce. No delivery so I picked it up. It was done as I pulled up. The shop is clean and friendly. Everything was under $50. Thanks for a pleasant meal! I'll be back soon.“

The General Tso Chicken and steamed dumplings were fantastic with just enough spice and heat that I can only wish other Chinese restaurants could replicate.2nd: Because I'm only visiting the area for work and not a local, I really felt I was on the wrong side of the tracks where this restaurant was located. “I went about 2 months ago hadn't been there in years for chitterlings.
We ordered a bucket that was $200 it was worth it. The same way I used to just bring them home and cook them a little longer with the seasonings you like. They were clean so I didn't have to do all that hard work. My chitterlings were perfect“

“The best fried rice I have ever had!!! I always order the same thing. I order 4 wings with fried rice add egg. Their rice comes with onion only(no veggies) -which is perfect for me because that's the way I like it. When I tell you that rice is something to talk about, hunnyyyy!!!! I'm not a dry rice eating person AT ALL. I ALWAYS need some type of gravy or the sauce from my beans over ANY rice I eat. Not this rice!! This rice (and wings) is perfect as is. It doesn't need soy, duck, hot sauce, ketchup(wings). All you need is a fork. Seasoned just right. Instead of expecting a gleaming corporate veneer that glosses over everything, remember that you're basically dealing with a family and all the ups and downs that entails. Online ordering can be finnicky if ordering Lunch specials though, the site's clock seems to think it's an hour later than it actually is so you can't submit an order containing lunch specials after 2pm despite them being available until 3pm. You get an error telling you it's after 3pm & that you have to change your order, however calling to order them was no issue.“

“Prices are a little high but overall the food is pretty good. Lunch special prices are great but outside of that orders can get very expensive very quick if ordering multiple things. Definitely call and order, don't use the online ordering cause the fee is ridiculous, like you could order an entire additional pint of anything on the menu with what you'll save calling in your order. General Tso's is always delicious tho sometimes I wish it was a little crispier. For whatever reason their Lo Mein is pretty bad anymore, used to be great. Food is always ready very fast, even delivery arrives really quick compared to anywhere else we order delivery from.
