King Garden is highly recommended for local chinese food in N. Wilmington. The kitchen and owners are very clean. The owner also listens and does her best accommodate for food allergies. Their vegetables and meats (especially the shrimp, chicken & pork) are always fresh. Only one time did we get some broccoli that was subpar, and when we brought it back to show them they quickly apologized and gladly provided a credit for our next takeout. This is a small place next to Wawa on Philadelphia Pike. They have good customer service, and you have a clear view of the kitchen. The food tasted clean and fresh. The food wasn't over seasoned or greasy. The serving sizes might be a bit smaller (for me, that's okay), but the taste makes up for that.

I’ve frequented this place for years. The hunan chicken and chicken and broccoli are my favorites. Fast service and very friendly staff. I’m thankful to have them in the neighborhood.
