“Golden Garden has been my go‑to Chinese restaurant for a long time now. I first tried them after being disappointed with another spot, and I’ve stuck with them ever since. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently great, and the portion sizes are far more generous than other places. I’ve ordered from them for family when they visit and everyone always loves it. Easily the best and most reliable Chinese food around.“

“Best Fried Rice! It’s actually fried…not yellow rice! The fried rice is old school! This yellow rice crap has conditioned people into thinking that’s fried rice and it’s not! The general tos chicken is amazing! The Sesame chicken is crazy good! They literally give you two fresh chicken breasts. Especially if you get the white meat version. The Mongolian Beef is probably one of the most tastiest and tender beef you’ve ever tried! This is our go to spot for Chinese, it’s a little pricey but Real Chinese isn’t cheap! You actually get quality here. The Lo Mein & Singapore Noodles are also amazing!!! I don’t know what most of these other reviewers are expecting but maybe their used to the slop houses lol.“

“I have been in the general area most of my life but bought a home about half a mile from this place about 9 years ago. I had given up hope in finding a local Chinese takeout when I accidentally found New Hong Kong. I was really craving Chinese and I was really nervous because I was broke !! lol! But, I knew it would last a couple of days so I splurged. I got the fried dumplings, crab Rangoon and sesame chicken with lo mein instead of rice combo for $26. Generous portions but still skeptical. I got it home and it looked so good. Tasted delicious!! I was pleasantly surprised and it was so good I even called them to compliment them , which I never do! The only complaint I have is the amount of filling in the dumplings was not enough. I mean noticeably empty. The dumpling itself was light and airy and made me wonder uf they used wonton wrappers ( pre made) but still good just not nearly enough filling. The dumpling sauce was different as well and not something I cared for. It was not sweet it was extremely spicy. But, I now have a go to and highly recommend!“

“I am closing in on 40 and have been coming to this restaurant since I was a small child, some of my earliest memories are family dinners at Da Chen. The staff here are amazing— kind, attentive, helpful, and generous. Their house made duck sauce and crispy fried wonton chips ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD. Do not sleep on them if you only ever order take-out! You receive the crispy wonton chips with any soup order, but you have to ask for their homemade duck sauce on the side (costs like 25¢ iirc)!!! My favorite foods from here are: wonton soup, their complimentary jasmine tea, shrimp toast, beef & broccoli, sweet & sour chicken, general tso’s chicken, pork fried rice, and the bao bao platter (it’s such a fun treat eating this for dine-in). You will always receive the same quality service and food here, and somehow over the years it’s even gotten better! Da Chen is child-friendly and has high chairs available to use, and is wheelchair-accessible straight from the ample free parking lot and into the restaurant. Da Chen accepts cash, debit or credit. My experience with this place has always been great. My whole family loves the food here. The owner is amazing and gracious. Moreover, they are very geared toward service and customer satisfaction. My favorite is Beef Lo Mein, and the other dishes are equally as great.

“I've tried all of the available chinese food options in the gibbstown-paulsboro area and this place is far and above the best of them. The portions are great and the food is always tasty. The prices for all of them were about the same, but this place doesn't charge a really high additional fee for using credit/debit to pay. If you want Chinese food in this area, this is the only place you should go to.“

“Dan Dan absolutely exceeded my expectations! The vegetable fried rice was bursting with flavor and perfectly prepared, with fresh onions, peas, and carrots in every bite. It was seasoned just right and had the perfect balance of taste and texture.
The side order of vegetarian string beans was truly unforgettable. They were cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and seasoned so well that I honestly couldn’t stop eating them. I can confidently say they were some of the best string beans I’ve ever had.
The experience was made even better by our server , Lee, whose customer service was exceptional. She was warm, attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her professionalism and genuine hospitality added the perfect finishing touch to an already amazing meal.

“I don't know why the Wok is happy but I know why we're happy! What an enjoyable order that was priced in reality. The happy family that I got was packed with meat and the veggies were done perfect. The crab rangoon was light, sweet and creamy. The sweet and sour chicken was traditional without a bunch of extra stuff. Just chicken and sauce. So good! The sesame chicken was sweet, savory, today but the start of the show was their perfect house mustard. My hair curled! The egg roll was the perfect shuttle for that and the duck sauce. No delivery so I picked it up. It was done as I pulled up. The shop is clean and friendly. Everything was under $50. Thanks for a pleasant meal! I'll be back soon.“

“Good Morning Google Family. How are you doing today? I decided to visit since I was so hungry!!! I do not like the white rice that the chinese places always give you so I asked for brown rice. I ordered a small won ton soup, 2 egg rolls and a Happy Family meal to go. I waited for a good amount of time and then they called me with my order. Thank goodness they have a seating area there to wait for your orders. I paid using my debit card and then they said I could have a can of soda. I got ginger ale for my mom and then I left. Online ordering can be finnicky if ordering Lunch specials though, the site's clock seems to think it's an hour later than it actually is so you can't submit an order containing lunch specials after 2pm despite them being available until 3pm. You get an error telling you it's after 3pm & that you have to change your order, however calling to order them was no issue.“

Definitely call and order, don't use the online ordering cause the fee is ridiculous, like you could order an entire additional pint of anything on the menu with what you'll save calling in your order. General Tso's is always delicious tho sometimes I wish it was a little crispier. For whatever reason their Lo Mein is pretty bad anymore, used to be great. Food is always ready very fast, even delivery arrives really quick compared to anywhere else we order delivery from.
