My experience with this place has always been great. My whole family loves the food here. The owner is amazing and gracious. Moreover, they are very geared toward service and customer satisfaction. My favorite is Beef Lo Mein, and the other dishes are equally as great.

“I discovered this place and oh my God we ordered from this place at least once a week hands down. they know how to make chicken it's juicy they know how to make everything they may fun is amazing The lobster on what is it shrimp with lobster sauce is amazing what else have we had the Lo Mein is amazing my guy friend gets it since he had he's on Ozempic, the portions are perfect. and the the Hong Kong wonton soup is amazing the spicy soup is amazing you have the flu fever covid just get that and drink it all day and you need something on a budget. it's not expensive so go for that and with the appetizers someone is going to like something in the house absolutely amazing food. great people and yes they've been known to give us extra chicken sorry if I got anybody in trouble...🤗🤗🤗🤗💗“

“I am closing in on 40 and have been coming to this restaurant since I was a small child, some of my earliest memories are family dinners at Da Chen. The staff here are amazing— kind, attentive, helpful, and generous. Their house made duck sauce and crispy fried wonton chips ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD. Do not sleep on them if you only ever order take-out! You receive the crispy wonton chips with any soup order, but you have to ask for their homemade duck sauce on the side (costs like 25¢ iirc)!!! My favorite foods from here are: wonton soup, their complimentary jasmine tea, shrimp toast, beef & broccoli, sweet & sour chicken, general tso’s chicken, pork fried rice, and the bao bao platter (it’s such a fun treat eating this for dine-in). You will always receive the same quality service and food here, and somehow over the years it’s even gotten better! Da Chen is child-friendly and has high chairs available to use, and is wheelchair-accessible straight from the ample free parking lot and into the restaurant. Da Chen accepts cash, debit or credit. “I have been in the general area most of my life but bought a home about half a mile from this place about 9 years ago. I had given up hope in finding a local Chinese takeout when I accidentally found New Hong Kong. I was really craving Chinese and I was really nervous because I was broke !! lol! But, I knew it would last a couple of days so I splurged. I got the fried dumplings, crab Rangoon and sesame chicken with lo mein instead of rice combo for $26. Generous portions but still skeptical. I got it home and it looked so good. Tasted delicious!! I was pleasantly surprised and it was so good I even called them to compliment them , which I never do! The only complaint I have is the amount of filling in the dumplings was not enough. I mean noticeably empty. The dumpling itself was light and airy and made me wonder uf they used wonton wrappers ( pre made) but still good just not nearly enough filling. The dumpling sauce was different as well and not something I cared for. It was not sweet it was extremely spicy. But, I now have a go to and highly recommend!“

“Got general Tso chicken, pork fried rice and an iced tea for $10.50. No idea how they are able to charge this little but the food wasn’t bad at all. The pork fried rice was a lil blah, next time I will just get white rice. I didn’t call to order and my food took a lil while but I was very happy with the general tso chicken. Will order again.

“Dan Dan absolutely exceeded my expectations! The vegetable fried rice was bursting with flavor and perfectly prepared, with fresh onions, peas, and carrots in every bite. It was seasoned just right and had the perfect balance of taste and texture.
The side order of vegetarian string beans was truly unforgettable. They were cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and seasoned so well that I honestly couldn’t stop eating them. I can confidently say they were some of the best string beans I’ve ever had.

“I don't know why the Wok is happy but I know why we're happy! What an enjoyable order that was priced in reality. The happy family that I got was packed with meat and the veggies were done perfect. The crab rangoon was light, sweet and creamy. The sweet and sour chicken was traditional without a bunch of extra stuff. Just chicken and sauce. So good! The sesame chicken was sweet, savory, today but the start of the show was their perfect house mustard. My hair curled! The egg roll was the perfect shuttle for that and the duck sauce. No delivery so I picked it up. It was done as I pulled up. The shop is clean and friendly. Everything was under $50. Thanks for a pleasant meal! I'll be back soon.“

I will say the location is in a spot of the city that’s not visually pleasing but the store looks well kept and presentable at all times. I have recommended this place to others and they too were satisfied with this hidden gem! This review is well overdue. My families favorites are: chicken wings with fries/chicken fried rice, Singapore noodles, general tao, curry chicken, wonton soup, and the Chinese donuts!!!“

I ordered a small won ton soup, 2 egg rolls and a Happy Family meal to go. I waited for a good amount of time and then they called me with my order. Thank goodness they have a seating area there to wait for your orders. I paid using my debit card and then they said I could have a can of soda. I got ginger ale for my mom and then I left. Online ordering can be finnicky if ordering Lunch specials though, the site's clock seems to think it's an hour later than it actually is so you can't submit an order containing lunch specials after 2pm despite them being available until 3pm. You get an error telling you it's after 3pm & that you have to change your order, however calling to order them was no issue.“

“Prices are a little high but overall the food is pretty good. Lunch special prices are great but outside of that orders can get very expensive very quick if ordering multiple things. Definitely call and order, don't use the online ordering cause the fee is ridiculous, like you could order an entire additional pint of anything on the menu with what you'll save calling in your order. General Tso's is always delicious tho sometimes I wish it was a little crispier. For whatever reason their Lo Mein is pretty bad anymore, used to be great. Food is always ready very fast, even delivery arrives really quick compared to anywhere else we order delivery from.
