“All the rave reviews are true! I visited with a friend from out of town and we had a feast of our favorites. Nearly everything on the menu is vegan, and it was hard to choose! The lunch special is a fantastic value and includes soup and a spring roll. We chose the miso soup, which we agreed is the most flavorful we've ever had. The staff are friendly and really helpful, and the food came out really fast - truly cooked to order. And, as if that weren't enough, the prices are incredibly reasonable. 10/10. “When I saw how affordable this spot was, I wasn’t expecting to be wow’d by the food but oh my goodness it was good! I got the chicken chow mein, pork dumplings in chili oil and the crunchy spicy cucumber. The heat levels were perfect (I got medium for the chow mein and dumplings, and the recommended level for the salad). I could still taste all the flavors but my mouth was coated perfectly in sichuan. The balance of sweetness and aromatics in everything - especially the pork dumplings - was delicious.

The staff was friendly, the wait time was short, the food was fresh.

“Made reservations at 7pm at loch bar for my sister’s birthday. I got there first and since my sister was a few minutes away, the host couldn’t seat me without her. My sister arrived at 7:05pm and the host informed us that it was busy therefore we would have to wait at the bar until there is a table available. I’m not sure what is the point of a reservation, if you won’t be seated right away. The bartender was really nice and welcoming. 20 minutes later, there was an open table. The appetizers were delicious especially the mussels!!!! The caviar and potato skin were sooo good as well. The oysters were fresh & cold just how I like it. I ordered shots of clase azul for my sister’s bday and we decided to do a bump of caviar & a shot of clase azul. It was a great combo! Thank me later.“

“I was looking for roast crispy duck. I didn't want to go to Chinatown because its gotten rundown, yucky traffic, expensive parking and horrible SEPTA. I decided to stay in my neighborhood so I could walk. I worried about it being expensive. Chestnut Hill is high end and the restaurant looked pricey. What a WONDERFUL SURPRISE! I was a solo table but still treated like a queen with lots of servers checking in, giving water and smiling. The roast duck in black bean sauce on the cast iron plate was SCRUMPTIOUS. It comes with a healthy side of white rice and delicate, flavorful bok choi. The skin was crispy yet NOT oily or greasy. The CHUNKS of tender duck meat were excellent. The sauce was thick, savory and yummy. FOODGASM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The portion was so healthy that I was able to take a container home for lunch the next day. Then I ordered the Mudslide ice cream pie for dessert. PERFECTION. Dense, creamy, sweet but not cloying with nut accents, fresh strawberries and cream as garnish. Cool treat on a humid Summer night. When the bill came, I was shocked that it was less than $40. I did not order a cocktail because I wanted to concentrate on the food. I gave them a big tip and said I am absolutely returning. I am also addicted to their spring rolls too. Two perfect crunchy flaky rolls filled with a balanced combination of shrimp, cheese, and cabbage that you can dip in duck sauce or mustard or just enjoy plain.“

•Sauteed Mongolian beef, more like iron plate beef with the smokey wok hei kind of flavor vs sauced Mongolian but enjoyable still. Purple onion refreshingly crunchy and slightly sweet

“It’s legit the best Chinese takeout in the area, bar none. I’ve spent 5 years looking for somewhere like this.

The Singapore mei fun is chock full of deliciousness, the lo mein isn’t greasy or stingy on the veggies, and the staff is super sweet.

The owner was very sweet and thoughtful which I truly appreciated. The food however wasn't the best tasting in the city. The chicken wings were the best part but barely noteworthy. It tastes like my shrimp and broccoli has been seasoned with old bay and my white rice was a bit soft. The fried was was tasty but the general tso chicken was small and a little chewy. Cheesesteak Roll was good. Overall I'm not disappointed with my experience but I would have second thoughts about returning.“

“Moved to the area 5 years ago. Have struggled to find a half decent Chinese restaurant anywhere nearby. After dozens of really terrible local options we just gave up. In a desperate need to feed the family without time to go grocery shopping, I finally tried Golden Key. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and food is as decent as I make from scratch at home.

Most notably, they seem to make an effort to wash their vegetables really well. I can rarely eat restaurant vegetables 'cause they're so poorly cleaned & still covered in industrial ag chemicals (I work in the industry, as such I'm sensitized to the chemicals. “My brother and I decided that we desired Chinese food after a long morning and afternoon of doing errands on this Friday, February 26th, 2021. This was our last stop and I decided to stop here because I am a regular at Planet Fitness, which is within walking distance. My brother ordered spare ribs, while I ordered a small Wonton soup(My absolute favorite Chinese dish), shrimp and broccoli with brown rice and an egg roll. The gentleman that waited on us, told us that the entree of shrimp and broccoli, the egg roll comes with it. We took it home and ate it. The wait wasn't long and the food was worth the wait. We will be back. My brother and I enjoyed our food. A good experience!!!

Friday, January 2, 2026 - I decided to come here after a wonderful workout at the Edge Fitness Center in Deptford, NJ. I had a taste for Chinese food. It was okay this time. I was disappointed about the brown rice. I asked for brown rice and they gave me white rice with brown sauce. I thought that was taking the easy way out. Also I asked for steamed shrimp with mixed vegetables. I received a lot of broccoli and maybe one carrot and some small mushrooms. There were not enough mixed vegetables. There should have been more mushrooms and carrots., I will check my food the next time that I order Chinese food or any food at all. Also the Won ton soup, which I ordered a quart size, was mostly water and not a lot of won tons. The shrimp egg roll was good. My experience was ok today. However I do not think I will be returning here again. There are a lot of Chinese restaurants to patronize besides this one. Have a good night, workout, be fit and fabulous especially since its a new Year. Good night.“
