This is our go to Chinese restaurant! The first and only that we really love around here! It’s a 20 min walk from us and in hot weather it feels longer, but it’s ALWAYS worth it! They’re so nice, the food is awesome, fair prices, and our order is always right! Their cheese pizza rolls are so good! Which are a nice treat when you want pizza and Chinese lol. Their shrimp eggs rolls are also my favorite! I usually get two :)
The lovely family who runs this restaurant are so hospitable warm and inviting. They never forget a face and they always remember your order. The food is absolutely delicious and has been each time I order. The mother of the house feels like the mother of the community. Everyone knows her and love her for being warm and consistent. Very pleasant experience.????

They say you should never judge a book by its cover, and as an English teacher you'd think I'd respect the old adage, but after living in Point Breeze for 10+ years I finally tried the BEST Chinese takeout in the Breeze, maybe the city. It's the little things: green beans and carrots in the Hot and Sour Soup, nice, fried orange rind in the General Taos, at a takeout joint?! Homemade fried chili flake sauce with the dumplings, word. They're on Grubhub, do it.
