We got the red beans and rice, gumbo and tomato soup and we need to try the rest of the menu! My husband and I just got back from New Orleans and my husband was sad because he loved the food so I googled and found this place! The gumbo was literally better than we had down there 😍 SO GOOD. And everyone working when I picked up (one was the owners daughter) were so passionate about how they make everything from scratch and kept giving me samples of everything and telling me their story. While the menu may appear to be limited, they all the homestyle favorites. There are vegetarian options. My favorite appetizer is on the menu, Fried Burssel Sprouts.

The portions are family style. Don't expect to finish what you order.

“This was my third time at Ground Provisions over the past 6 months and I'm a big fan! I've thoroughly enjoyed the multi-course menu with the wine pairing in the dining room and at the Chef Counter. Both areas were lovely but being able to see the food prep at the counter was fun for my son who loves cooking. I also sat at the bar with a friend ordering from the bar menu. As much as I loved the little store, I appreciate the extra space they put in for dining now. I hope it continues to do well. So happy there is a fine dining option locally for vegan fare.“

The bronzino was perfectly pancakes, crisp and flaky inside, squid ink pasta with shrimp was sublime, tuna tartare melted in our mouths and the deserts were stellar! “Stopped into PF Chang’s in Glen Mills for a quick snack and grabbed a seat at the bar… best decision! I was so glad to see that some of my favorite appetizers are now available in half sizes. Even though the portions are smaller, the quality and presentation are absolutely not compromised.

Brett, the bartender, was kind, personable, and incredibly attentive. He helped me decide what to order, had me try different sauces with appetizers they aren’t usually paired with, and truly went above and beyond, even with my very minimal order.

If you’re looking for good bites, good drinks, and great service, definitely stop by and ask for Brett.“

“Honeygrow's a great place that my girlfriend and I go to for dinner. The stir fry tastes fresh and has that char grilled flavor. Try the spicy garlic sauce, it's my favorite. Quan helped us out the last time we came, he was very polite and friendly. Thank you Quan!“

I got sopreseta and it literally was the best pizza I've ever tasted. The crust was light, flaky and garlicky, the sauce wasn't sweet, and the cheese was sooooo good! Never had sopreseta before and now I'm a fan. Will surely be a regular spot for me now.“

George the owner packaged our order and packed it so neat and loaded my car. My only regret is not taking pictures of the presentation. Food was delicious; presentation was straight out of a magazine presentation. The price so was reasonable- I almost feel like I robbed them for how good the food was and the price I paid. Easiest process from ordering to pick up. The guest at our party raved about the food. The desserts were so scrumptious everyone went for seconds! Our first time at Kid Shelleen's. It was much bigger than it appears at first. We had our two granddaughters with us, one is very vocal and not great at getting food into her mouth. “Delicious food, knowledgeable staff, great beer selection. The food comes out so hot and fresh, honestly it is the hottest food I've ever had at a restaurant. Clearly it's not sitting under heat lamps and it's run right away. Tonight I devoured the cheese tortellini, I've had the chicken parmesan 2 times and the Brussel sprouts 2 times. The fish tacos on taco Tuesday were good too (not pictured). It can get loud, but that doesn't deter from the quality of food and service.“

“We just got two large pizzas for our first visit (both were Detroit style - the Motown and the Greektown). For only two people eating, we have almost a whole large pizza of leftovers and let me tell you, I cannot wait to eat them tomorrow. The Motown is the best pepperoni pizza that we have ever had and we are major pizza fans in this family, so that says something! For my Greek fans, I highly recommend that Greektown pizza, so flavorful and don’t even get me started on the crust! 😁“
