“i enjoyed my stop here so, so much! i got a squash and corn empanada—which was very tasty—and an iced coffee with a healthy dose of vanilla syrup.literally every single employee i interacted with here was so nice and welcoming! i would recommend this place based on the service alone.there was a decent amount of indoor seating, but TONS of outdoor seating, which i took advantage of due to the nice weather. it was a really great place to spend some time writing and just enjoying the sunshine.they also had quite a few pastries (and some interesting retail items, i believe), and i look forward to trying some of them out the next time i stop by!”

“I had wanted to truly thank you for our awesome server and host and cook and bartender. It was a truly dark and stormy night.... torrential downpour. We had planned to meet at a nearby restaurant and were turned away (4 adults and 3 kids) due to size of our party and no one making a reservation thinking our early time frame we would not need one. Well, Saturday night so... we were drenched, the littles were now hungry, unruly to put it politely... love them but yeah, unruly. We were given a large and I might add very clean booth and every member of your staff was so above and beyond incredibly kind, pleasant and understanding. The food was great, hot, reasonably priced for the portions and we will be back. Thanks so much for everything :)”

“I went there for the first time to order a gluten free, dairy free cake and found out I should have done it earlier. But they gave me a great suggestion and they iced beautiful cupcakes for me while I waited. They went out of their way to help me. I also bought pretty candles, lollipops and delicious little cookies.Dietary restrictions: My daughter is gluten and dairy free but here there is no loss of yummy!”

“The coziest little breakfast spot! We were visiting Kennett Square and had never been there before and stumbled into Hank's Place. Wait was only 15 min which wasn't bad for 10AM on a Saturday Morning. Service was great, food was delicious and came out within 10 minutes. Would definitely go back!”

“I visit here just about daily, as I have to walk a few miles for exercise, and to reward myself, I stop here for a treat. The store is clean, with indoor and outdoor seating, the advertised flavors are always available, and the most important thing, the young people serving me are attentive, courteous and friendly. (I also had a nice chat with the manager, an entertaining fellow who is doing a great job running things.) So my experience has been excellent, and has motivated me to continue my exercise routine. “We had a lovely meal here; every course was really delicious and was enjoyed by both me (vegetarian) and my mother (omnivore). The service was outstanding. FYI for others, even reservations at the bar are only for the prix fixe tasting menu. We hadn't quite gotten that impression from the website or the confirmation messages, so be advised. Walk-ins and the seasonal porch seating have a "drinks and snacks" menu available. We'll definitely be back to try that, too!”

“TY for accommodating our party of 18 on a Saturday… Your fried calamari was so yummy, the flight of soup was a brilliant idea for someone who’s undecisive to be able to sample 3 different cups, my crab cake was so amazing - I’m drooling just thinking about the jumbo lumps of crab chunks!!! By the way hubby & I noticed the American Psycho decors right away as we’re huge fans of the book & movie. Last but def not least, the service was great even though there were 18 of us with some loud kiddos.”

“My husband and I went to De La Terre for a belated Valentine’s Day celebration and had a wonderful time! The ambience was lovely. Well decorated, tables were not crowded, easy to hear conversations and perfect lighting. Everyone was very friendly, and service was prompt but all the food was well timed. We never felt rushed to finish a dish to make room for another.Our amuse-bouche was a morel mushroom stuffed with goat cheese, and a wonderful start to the meal. We ordered the french onion soup, tuna tartare, and beet salad to start. All were the best version we have had. The tuna tartare was bursting with flavor, and the goat cheese ice cream was a wonderful added touch to the beet salad. For mains, my husband had the halibut and I had New York strip with blackened cabbage and a mustard sauce. These were also both divine, perfectly cooked and so flavorful.All in all, we had a lovely time and a fantastic meal. We will be returning!”

“Sovana Bistro is a great venue for a small party. I was there years ago for a bridal shower and recently for a baby shower. The private room we were in was comfortable and bright even on a rainy day. Guests were seated at long tables, and food was on a buffet table.”

“10/10 recommend! Their Thai milk tea with black sesame boba is soooo good! I got regular (50%) sweetness and it's awesome! Might go lower next time based on personal preference, but definitely recommend starting at 50% if you aren't sure. The staff is so kind! Great conversation, so kind and helpful. AND they make all their Boba in house?! It's perfectly chewy and not overwhelmingly sweet, I could probably eat a small bowl of it on its own. Love this place, will absolutely be coming back ”
