“Told them I am from kansas city and was recommended them as one of the better Philly cheesesteaks in the region. It did not disappoint. The thing was massive (18 inch). I am a big guy and this is 2 or 3 meals.

Taste is 11/10. Glad I stopped by.

Crew and cook were friendly and awesome, you can tell they take pride in what they do, and it is deserved!

“Really great food! Took a minute to be waited on but that's a small thing and worth it for what was to come. Appetizers were delicious, and really nice portions. It was hard to eat the entrees after gorging on those. There was some kind of street fair going on right outside and it was still not really loud in the restaurant. Will definitely be back.“

“The food itself is impeccable, I highly recommend the banana walnut Belgian waffle. The hot sauce is amazing too, it's Cholula brand. As a coffee snob, that coffee was utterly amazing. Unfortunately, there was a small hair found in the barbeque sauce. Also, the tuskan sandwich contained unexpected pork (the pork was disclosed in the description, however it was called Porchetta, which the person who ordered thought sounded more like a cheese). Once the sandwich was replaced the person said it was very good. The staff was very friendly, and the place was very quiet.“

The space is spread out so never seems packed enough to be uncomfortable. Bar serves great mixed drinks and a nice selection of beer on tap.“

“The restaurant definitely deserves its own review! The staff are fantastic and super personable. My wife and I were here for 31 days in April/May of 2022, and we had breakfast here almost every morning. We try to stay all-natural with food, and they were willing to work with us. We provided an organic Olive Oil spray, and they would use that on our omelets. They never made us feel like a hassle or burden, and we loved getting to know them, especially Rhonda and Trupti! At times they had nice Chobani Yogurt, and they always had great apple/orange juice options. They also had Franks hot sauce and cream cheese packs that were SOOOO GOOD on the omelets :)Can't wait to go back and enjoy the food and friends again!“

“I went inside around 2:15pm on May 17th 2025 after the Dogwood Parade and the Carnitas Tacos were slamming good! The server Riley was very friendly and one of the best servers i've seen in a while! The salad I had with the tacos was very yummy and pretty too! I'd eat again here.😊🌮🥗 10/10“

“We've been coming here for years, always Wednesdays after gymnastics. The owner is very nice and food is really good! One time we went to Burger King across the street (hadn't eaten at Burger King in years) and the quality difference was appalling. We couldn't wait to get back to Wayback. Hope this location stays here for many years!“
