“1st time here really cozy place, great culture, quick, friendly & attentive service, plenty of specials during happy hour 4-6 - wings, drinks, apps. Food was delicious and awesome portions. Loved the homemade chips, Bavarian pretzel, house blue cheese, wings & salmon dish. Will definitely visit again next time we're back in town!!“
“Went there on Easter Sunday, the menu had a good selection. I had the prime rib which was very delicious, same as the veggies. The only thing I didn't like was they charged the veggies 10 bucks over the price over the prime rib. In my opinion the veggies should have been included in the price. The service was great, it seems that the staff worked together very well. They deserver a good tip.My over all experience was very good, would I come back again? Yes when ever I get back in the area.Food & drinks: Great food“
“Can't overstate much we loved dining here. The food was exceptional - creative, fresh and delicious. The owners are so kind and involved and clearly put their heart into all they do. Every bite was fantastic but we especially loved the lamb - menu is seasonal, local and meticulously prepared. Highly highly recommend and we hope to return very soon.“
“Love Dyers! We have since moved from the area but the rare times we find ourselves back, Dyers is our first stop. It's nothing fancy to look at but the food sure is. Don't let appearances keep you from going in. Not only is their food delicious, but you get a generous portion for the money and the service is great. The girls are all very friendly. Be sure to bring cash for a tip. Special note for gluten free/celiac...they have dedicated fryers for their fries and wings. I also enjoy getting a cheesesteak bowl. You won't miss the roll!“
“The location is a little tight but a good amount of seating, and 4 pool tables. The food is good and reasonably priced. The jukebox stopped at 9 on a Saturday night and they just played counrty music the rest of the night over the radio which was kinda lame. Our server ASHLEY WAS AMAZING! she was extremely quick and attentive with a full bar and tables, and with our party or 9. She checked in all evening, even after we closed our check. We accidentally hit a thumbs down on our experience with her so if the owner is reading this, Ashley made our first experience at the ote wonderful !“
“I tried New Old Baldy and it was a delicious dark barrel aged beer. Service was fast and friendly, helping give great recommendations. For food I got a small size of pickles and small cheese fry. The pickles had both sweet and dill pickles, pickled red onions, and pickled red grapes. The fries were perfect, not soggy, great amount of cheese, crispy bacon bits, not too much heat from the jalapeños an excellent fresh crunch.“
“My bridal shower was held at Portabellos and I could not be happier with the venue choice. The staff was excellent and attentive, the food was outstanding and the atmosphere was so stunning it brought me to tears. Sandra and her staff were so warm and personable. We were granted the ability to decorate the space to make it even more special for my shower. It was the most beautiful day and the most beautiful memory that I will cherish forever.“
“Always a great experience at Foxfire. The menu has so many great options. The food is so good and a good value for upscale dining. Love that the salads are big enough to share. The Delmonico steak was cooked perfectly and we love that the entrees come with sides such as a starch and some vegetables. I still don't know how their vegetables taste as good as they do, even the grilled cauliflower is fantastic! We also had the crab cakes and a mushroom quesadilla off the back side casual food section. Great dessert menu too. The apple cobbler is enough to share but the chocolate cheesecake was a a little to small to share among four of us. The service was great too. Very friendly and accommodating staff. We will definitely return.“
“Took myself here for a solo date night (Saturday 8pm). Excellent experience from start to finish. Most importantly, I was greeted with a big smile! The 2 hostesses were beyond sweet and extremely helpful when I couldn’t decide where to sit. There was a live band playing and the atmosphere overall was laidback and comfortable (St. Patrick’s Day weekend). The St Paddy’s Martini was DELICIOUS, it tasted like mint chocolate chip. I’ve had takeout plenty of times, so I knew the food would be good! My servers, a young lady with cute temporary eye tattoo for the holiday (whose name I didn’t catch) & Drew, were both attentive and polite!10/10 Recommend“
“Such a hidden gem. The food was flavorful, and the presentation was perfect! Service was kind and knowledgeable for the menu. We would definitely go back! The exotic dancer drink was a little sweeter than I liked, but it was still a great drink, I also tried a prickly pear martini that was made just to my taste buds.“
“I’ve been to the whip twice and enjoyed it both times. It was well worth the 45 minute trip from Wilmington De. The scenery along route 82 is incredible and the food and atmosphere are great. I can’t wait to return when it’s warm enough to sit on the patio.“
