“We just had our welcome party for my daughter’s wedding weekend. Meghan, Jordan and Ashley were very easy to reach. They responded quickly and were extremely helpful as well as accommodating. The evening of the event went without any issues.The only change is I would have brought some zip locks for the kids to be able to take the extra cookies and brownies home as a sweet treat that was delicious. That is on me, not them. Wonderful place to have an event that you do not have to worry about anything on that night. They were extremely attentive and flexible the entire evening. “Surprisingly, this is only our second time there. Last time we just went in for drinks and this time we actually had dinner and it was very good. The heirloom tomato tart is excellent and so were the olives and pizza. The drinks were well-made. This time we came to see our friend Sam play and the acoustics were really good.“

“Big shoutout to Giordano’s!! My husband and I had a small courthouse wedding and had about 15 people come to dinner afterwards in one of the private rooms. We were promptly greeted and the manager came in to greet us as well and gave my 2 year old nephew a giant cookie to keep him occupied while we got settled in. All of the staff was very helpful and attentive. They made sure to meet all of our needs and double check that there was no alcohol in one of the entrees sauces and even had it remade to make sure for us. The bartender came over and helped us wrap up our leftover cake so we could save it for our one year anniversary as well. All around a wonderful experience. I haven’t been since before renovations when I worked there and was impressed with all of the updates. It is more modern but still comfortable and the food is absolutely wonderful! As a large group, we ordered quite the variety of entree’s and they were all wonderful! Thank you Gios for a wonderful day my husband and I will never forget!“

“The food here was AMAZING I cannot stress that enough I have NEVER had food so good that I wanted to give compliments to the chef like I did here. We had a party of 6 & everyone ordered something diffrent, & we all LOVED our meals. Idk what they put in their mashed potatoes but I can safely say that it should be the ONLY way mashed potatoes are ever made. We like to go when its quieter on Sundays, but even durning the weekend when it was really crowded we still found seats at the bar. They always have all the games on, including horse racing. “Overall it was a nice bar once we got inside. We had a pepperoni pizza abd some drinks and did kareoke (friday night). It seems a little quiet and weird when you pull up because its a very hidden bar and its a little hard to tell if it's open, but once you get inside they have great music and very nice bartenders. Would definitely go again“

“Jake's Bar is an institution and deserves 100 stars. Is there food? Barely. Do they have a wide assortmet of drinks to choose from? No. Are the bathrooms modern? lol.
Does it need any of these things? No. Jake's excels at what it is- a dive bar in a college town. Dwayne and Orazio are legends, and the absolute best. I had my first legal drink at Jake's in 2002, and 24 years later still try to stop by a few times a year. <3“
