If you're not looking to dress up but just want to go grab a drink and relax, this is the place. The signs all over will have you in stitches . The restrooms are clean and beer is always cold!! “This is an unapologetic dive bar, so if you are expecting quality food or drink, this place is not for you. The Guinness is good though and they have other beer, mostly low price stuff. Interestingly, the whiteboard lists some pretty elaborate seafood dishes, but the place is usually pretty empty and I can't imagine they end up serving much food. For all I know, the food is great. I just come here to sit at the bar and drink Guinness.“

“John Morton' Tavern located on Lincoln Ave & 4th Street has great staff members/bar tenders that are very attentive towards their customers. One bar tender can handle the customers sitting at the bar. The food that came out of the kitchen was nice and hot while being prepared in a reasonable amount of time. Keep up the good work 👍-Good Luck in 2026 & Beyond. This is a good bar in the area but maybe could be smaller than some other local bars. It's not a bad thing but could get packed quickly. Business Parking lot wraps around behind the building and additional parking on 4th Ave“

“Delicious as always. I went yesterday, with a friend and I got to say, your prices have gone through the roof! I mean doubled by $8-$10 per meal. We also got there at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon, the dead of August, we wanted a hightop table. We were told that they were reserved and That people would be coming in within the next 45 minutes, and they didn’t wanna have to switch us again. By the time we left at 7:30 there were still 2 high tops available/empty. I’ll still be back because it’s a Broadway but those two things definitely bothered us“

“Sorry I didn't have any food. But a great little corner bar. Old time stuff. Just a place to go in and have a couple drinks. And pick up on the occasional conversation, which can get very interesting. Great bartender will make what you ask him to.
Please do not pass on good information about this place. I don't want anybody else finding out about it.
If you're lucky you can run into the psychologist that I ran into, and get a session for the price of a couple drinks.

“We are some Indian students stayed in that area from 2015 to 2017. We used to come after work and chill in this bar. There was an old man (hope he is doing good ) working all the time by him self. He used to watch TV and smoke cigarettes all day . His expressions while watching TV was so funny.
