The perfect local dive bar: gregarious staff, bargain-priced, but abundant beverages, busy pool table, good tunes on the juke box, sports on the TVs, unpretentiously comfortable environment, and fantastic French fries!!
Met a friend I haven't seen 16 months. We had a few beers. He's a die-hard Bud drinker. it's no longer served on tap. The distributor has experienced a shortage of various brands. I stayed with my go-to miller light draft. They've opened up an outdoor area since covid to accommodate non-smokers. It's a Nice set up with a bar, TVs, fans and patio roof. The lady bartender is friendly, attentive and personable.

It's nice to see how the new owner has cleaned up the place. The atmosphere is inviting. There are plenty of TVs with a variety of sports to choose to from. The bartender, Charlie, was personable which added to a pleasant experience. The kitchen has added some interesting items to the menu. My friend and I got there after the kitchen had closed so we didn't get to order anything. Next time I go I'll get there earlier in the day.
