“I used Johnny Paisano’s to cater a holiday party. I had an amazing experience from the very beginning. I spoke with Christine who helped me place the order, and helped me to decide the best options for my menu. One of my options was a prime rib, where I received a phone call from Johnny himself to help me figure out the best way to prepare it for the party. When it was time to retrieve the food on the day of the party, everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. Johnny once again came out and was talking with me about the food. I appreciate this aspect of a business, it makes you feel like you’re in a friendly environment, rather than a sterile kitchen. The food quality was amazing. Every platter was delicious, and every guest was happy with how the food turned out. The prime rib was the largest hit, not surprisingly. I couldn’t believe the value of everything as well. Please use Johnny Paisano’s for your next event, they will not disappoint at all, and will go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met!”

“Today I stopped at The Hungry A. I have driven buy there many times. As I walked in the owners and people in there all greeted me like they know me. I had a coffee and it was one of the best I ever had. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. I will be be back. But what really got to me I walk with a cane and one of the girls there saw I was having a hard time she came around the counter and took what I was carrying and helped me to my car. Today there are not many people that are kind as she was. It made me know that there is still kind people in this world. If every would take the time to be kind to someone just once maybe it could be a start to make this world just a little better”

“Ordered for the first time this past Friday to try their new menu. My 14 y/o had the lil’ Rita and said it was “so good it’ll make a grown man cry.” My 9 y/o had the mini plain pizza. She’s not usually a fan of pizza but ate 2 slices, so I guess that means she liked it. My husband and I did olive and pepperoni. I love that they use kalamatta olives instead of black olives! The cheesy bread with the garlic butter was also delicious! We’ll definitely add them into our pizza rotation.”

“We just got two large pizzas for our first visit (both were Detroit style - the Motown and the Greektown). For only two people eating, we have almost a whole large pizza of leftovers and let me tell you, I cannot wait to eat them tomorrow. The Motown is the best pepperoni pizza that we have ever had and we are major pizza fans in this family, so that says something! For my Greek fans, I highly recommend that Greektown pizza, so flavorful and don’t even get me started on the crust! 😁”

“My first time here with my family was so amazing!! We were immediately greeted with beautiful smiles and such warm welcomes. We were seated and ordered our food. It did not take long for our food to come out either. All of the food was delicious and perfectly cooked! All of the dishes we ordered are in the pictures below! The atmosphere of the restaurant was also really nice and beautifully decorated. I love the variety of their menu. They have sushi as well which I will definitely try out next time! It was overall a 5 star experience! The food is really great and the staff are really sweet and answered all of our questions. My favorite dish had to be the fried taro, it reminded me of funnel cake it was so good! 😊 I recommend ordering from here. I will be back!”

“My husband and i enjoy eating at this fine Italian restaurant together, with family and friends. The restaurant is clean, bright and the staff at this family owned business is very friendly and professional. The menu includes seafood, chicken. Pasta, veal and steak. The appetizers, salads and home made soups are impressive as are the daily specials. My husband has celiac disease and they are very accommodating. The pricing is in line with similar establishments and it is a BYOB witn NO corking fée. We simply love it !!!❤️”

“I just made a pizza in my kitchen oven using a Toscana Pizza Kit. Simply perfect! This is the first time that I have been able to create a round pizza with out a rolling pin. “I don't know why the Wok is happy but I know why we're happy! What an enjoyable order that was priced in reality. The happy family that I got was packed with meat and the veggies were done perfect. The crab rangoon was light, sweet and creamy. The sweet and sour chicken was traditional without a bunch of extra stuff. Just chicken and sauce. So good! The sesame chicken was sweet, savory, today but the start of the show was their perfect house mustard. My hair curled! The egg roll was the perfect shuttle for that and the duck sauce. No delivery so I picked it up. It was done as I pulled up. The shop is clean and friendly. Everything was under $50. Thanks for a pleasant meal! I'll be back soon.”

However this outdated place is falling apart as every visit something appears to be wrong which is odd for this area. My family are regulars at this location so of course we notice everything. Now, There are leaks everywhere. You can tell the staff is a tad embarrassed but they do constantly apologize and try their best to, well , keep us dry? unfortunately won’t be back until it is safe for us to purchase from here without getting wet or having food contaminated. We just feel bad for all those working in this conditions. Keep up the great wotk! Star rating is for the staff and food NIT for the condition of the restaurant. The health department should probably be called actually.”

“Everything was delicious! Didn't cost much to upgrade side salad to Signature strawberry pecan - full of other fruits too. Salmon was crisp on the outside and so tender on the inside. Husband loved the filet. Even the bread was warm and tasty. And not to be outdone by the competition, they had a great "Texas Tonion" which was similar to a "bloomin' onion" and just as good. Prices were so reasonable, too, even in this era of inflation. Highly recommend!”

“I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with the level of customer service I experienced at the Springfield location of the Pretzel Factory. On June 11, 2025 I visited the store expecting a quick and courteous transaction. Unfortunately, what I encountered was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. While several customers, including myself, waited in line to be served, an employee named ALFONZO was openly using his phone and not acknowledging anyone. When someone tried to get his attention, he casually flagged us off as if we were bothering him. There was no apology, no explanation, and certainly no sense of urgency or respect for customers. This kind of behavior is not only disrespectful, it drives customers away. In a time when businesses rely heavily on customer loyalty and word of mouth, employees should be representing the brand with professionalism and basic courtesy. I strongly urge management to address this issue and ensure that staff are trained—or retrained—on the importance of customer service. If this is the type of behavior that is tolerated, I will not be returning, and I will certainly discourage others from doing so. Sincerely,”

“Very creative customize your own froyo shop. You can fill up your cup with whatever flavor(s) you desire and then pick your own toppings from the toppings bar and they include various fun toppings such as gummy bears, cookie dough, brownie bits, boba pearls, lego candy, cereals, and more. They also offer chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, pb sauce, and marshmallow sauce. Very fun and kid friendly inside with colorful chairs and booths. It’s refreshing to see a fun place geared towards children”

Thank goodness, I remembered to ask for my senior discount which is 5% off the purchase. I purchased a medium decaf hot coffee, black with butter pecan. I paid in cash and I asked for my receipt. It was $2.81. I had a good experience here today and I would return here again. Have a good night, be active and mobile, fit and fabulous especially for people over the age of 50 years. “We recently had our 30th class reunion at Tavola Restaurant & Bar, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish.

A special shout-out to Steven Smith, who coordinated our event. Steven was fantastic to work with. He was professional, attentive, accommodating, and made sure every detail was taken care of. He went above and beyond to make sure our evening went smoothly, and his efforts truly made a difference. Having someone like Steven handling the details allowed all of us to relax, enjoy ourselves, and focus on catching up with old friends.

The food was excellent, the atmosphere was perfect for a reunion, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. After 30 years, it was wonderful to be able to get together with old classmates, catch up, laugh, and make new memories—and Tavola provided the perfect setting for it.

Everyone had a fantastic time, and we heard nothing but compliments about the food, service, and overall experience. A huge thank-you to Steven Smith and the entire Tavola team for helping make our 30th reunion such a memorable night.
