“A great place. Been open many years. Recently on TV for their Anniversary. Sometimes crowded but they are quick and move fast. You can get breakfast sandwiches all day which is a plus. Coffee very good, another plus. Only takes cash, no big deal to me. Grew up in South Philly and local neighborhood places the same. Got scrapple, egg & cheese, bacon, egg & cheese, peppers , egg & cheese. All outstanding. Owner Bruce and his wife working up front, working, greeting and monitoring everything.”
“This was a great place to grab lunch back when it was located on Baltimore Pike. Now The owner has stepped it up a notch. With a bigger better facility. With a welcoming atmosphere, stylish dine in area and still serving some of our classic favorites.. fresh home made soups, delicious sandwiches, and classic home style dinners. Affordable, delicious, and a staff that is so kind it'll make you want to buy one of their home made amazing desserts. Whether it be on a Tuesday or a Saturday you can't go wrong by stopping in.. definitely one of Delco's finest hidden Jems.Vegetarian options: Not exactly sure what all they have on the menu for a vegetarian. But I do know that Johnny the owner will bend over backwards to make sure your visit is nothing but rememberable.Parking: Located in Springfield shopping center. It is surrounded by a vast parking lot. So even if you can't find a spot right out front you will have issues finding one somewhere.Kid-friendliness: Johnny loves kids. And has all the classic kid favorites on the menu.Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely able to get a wheel chair from the vehicle to the restaurant and at a table with no hassle at all.”
“My wife brought a pizza home last week. It was the first time she got pizza from this place. We got another pizza last night and it was just as great. Both were excellent. I highly recommend trying this place. You can’t go wrong.”
“Years ago bought fresh pasta when it was called Springfield Ravioli. Since then another good pasta place opened closer to me(Ridley) so haven't been here in a bit. I was looking for good breakfast sandwich in area. Web search, their name came up multiple times. Got scrapple , egg, cheese & son got red pepper, egg and cheese. Heard coffee was good. The sandwiches were great & quickly made. The coffee was fantastic, among best I've ever had. There were two types, a dark roast and a medium roast called "420". I believe locally roasted.”
“We got Hunnypie for the first time this past Saturday and I have to say it is one of the best pizza's I have ever had. I would highly recommend to my family and friends and to anyone else reading this.”
“Shannon is an excellent server - a joy to be around and Candis is a wonderfully professional, humorous and thorough manager. Both are valuable fixtures at your establishment.”
“Popped in on a week night. Bar full of regulars, a few tables of diners. Roast beef sandwich and pretzel bites were awesome. I will return just for those. Bartender was solo and waiting tables as well.”
“We just had our daughter's 1st Birthday/Baptism lunch celebration. We had the restaurant to ourselves and everything went so well. They were super nice and accommodating and my guest enjoyed the food. Even my friend who decorated said she would keep them in mind to recommend to clients seeking a event location. Nicole was awsome!”
“Mission is wonderful.. Their salmon is amazing., I'm pescatarian, so I don't eat a lot of stuff on the menu... But can't go wrong with the sea food ”
“We had a group in to dine on February 24th 2024. A Saturday. The man I spoke with on the phone to make the arrangements, Jay, was very helpful. We had 15 people including a few kids and took 2 entrees home and ordered like 5 appetizers. Service was phenomenal. John, one of our waiters, was very welcoming and helpful and thorough at providing exceptional service, making jokes and ensuring he answered any questions we had. The woman paired with him was excellent as well and I don't want to misspell her name. No one had anything but praise for their entrees. Full bellies and happy faces all around. We were very happy overall. We brought our own wine, plenty of delicious bread and butter was provided along with ice water. Even the 2 items ordered off the children's menu were large portions. I ate my entree 3 times altogether, the portion was so generous. Most things come with soup or salad too. I enjoyed the crab/shrimp bisque (only one person thought it was a touch salty) and the shrimp and salmon in vodka sauce. Very delicious! We've been here before and will definitely be back. Thank you!Vegetarian options: Eggplant ParmRatatoulliMushroom SoupPasta primaveraVarious pastas with various saucesbasic saladParking: Small lot, but the venue isn't terribly large so it works out. Free parking.Kid-friendliness: We had two 10 year olds, a three and five year old. Plus a baby. No issues. Kids portions were very large. Not necessarily going to be a lot of kids in general though, so make sure they know how to sit at a table and behave.”
“I had the Bison burger it was amazing best piece I had, it was cooked very good, Bison has to be cooked a certain way, it was good. Great server was very nice and pleasant, gave us suggestions since it was our first time there. We will be back for sure.”
“I went there yesterday and this girl working there was giving me an attitude.i never had a problem like this with anyone else anywhere else and it wasn't that big of a deal either.she gave me the check and said have a nice day before I paid her and I laughed while saying" hold on I still have to pay you " she immediately started giving me dirty looks while condescendingly looking at me like what are you talking about?I tell her I have a $50 bill I need change back so I can tip you gives me an even dirtier look and sayd ooookaaaySo I explain to her it's not that big of a deal I'm sorry if I came off like I was insulting you but you don't have to talk to me like that and give me an attitudeThen she tells me I'm not allowed there anymore.i had 2 beers ,a sandwich ,was there for no more than 20 minutes and a nice conversation with three other patrons. In no way do I deserve that kind of treatment and and after she told me that I let her know that she's making this place lose business . Unless she owns the place she needs to realize why she's there and what her job is and that's to make people feel welcome and to help this place make money not drive people away”
“We took my 100 year old grandmother there today to celebrate her birthday! The staff and food where fantastic! I can not say enough about this restaurant! They just do it right and better than most! I will always recommend this wonderful restaurant. You made my grandmother very happy today!!!!!”
“I love Kawa. It’s my favorite sushi restaurant so far and I’ve gone to tons of sushi restaurants in the past and in Japan. The presentation is beautiful, the servings are healthy, and the rice is just ?? delicioso. The servers are so kind and attentive. We love them. Also shoutout to the sushi chefs for being so talented and awesome. We always get their Toro and Uni sushi. Next on the list is hamachi, smoked salmon and tamago. Everything we’ve had was delicious and we’ve never been disappointed with what we end up getting. The only thing that sucks is when my gf and I are craving Kawa and we realize it’s Monday…We also try to limit going there to only once a month but we always break the rule.”
“Our server Maddie was absolutely phenomenal! Bertucci’s is my favorite restaurant but the locations near me all closed. We drove an hour to this location and Maddie made sure to give us the authentic Bertucci’s experience. Best bread rolls and oil there is and the 3 cheese ravioli is to die for. 10/10 recommend!”
