Great service, amazing food, and the atmosphere was exactly what I wanted.As you walk in, it can be a little disorienting with so much going on but as you begin to take it in you see how important the local hero’s are. These guys care about the men and women who serve our country. The staff greeted me warmly and when they discovered it was my first time they spent time walking me through the whole menu and explaining the style of food. A gentleman gave me a coupon for a free sandwich as a gift for my first time.I ordered the pulled pork with a side of Mac and cheese. Amazing. Man did it hit! They have lemonade and sweet tea, but I mixed it half and half and my gosh. The food was literally some of the best I had. I used the mission belle and smokehouse sauce. They offer 6 hot sauces on the table. Lisa was cleaning and serving the table, she helped me so much, was very attentive, and cleaned up the table for us. I was taken back.Lisa then offered me a free dessert as a first time visitor. I’ll truly never forget the service and food and can’t wait to bring my family back.I recommend this place wholeheartedly. I had the best time and it was money well spent. The staff is responsive and well trained and so welcoming. “We were having a birthday breakfast for my girlfriend, and had the pleasure of having Basil as our server. He was absolutely AWESOME. As we are super particular about food, Basil helped us with suggestions on the menu, was absolutely hilarious, so helpful and made our entire day! She and I have both been in the customer service field for a very long time, and he again was just super great. Lemon ! Ricotta are phenomenal tooKid-friendliness: I would take my 12 yr old here no prob, the menu is very kid friendly even outside the kids menu“

“Longhorn is excellent as a chain, and the food is great here at this location. A few issues with Baltimore Pike not about food. First of all it's always a 20 minute wait, yet there are always at least a dozen seats open in plain view. Been to a lot of restaurants on the pike and everyone else seems to manage seating better since traffic is high everyday. Even olive garden is faster to seat people. I guess server issues exist here but that's a reason I avoid going because It seems like they are doing something wrong management wise, it's a busy place, get the help you need and take people's money. Also the servers are often overwhelmed, but I only see two or three tables being worked. Maybe you need drink and delivery staff like outback. My big issue is the greeter/hosts. Something deeply wrong at this location there is often no one at the desk, lots of people waiting. The hosts always seem unhappy and avoidant here but other locations are cheerful. All in all I regularly have used 3 locations, and this one is the only that has these issues and I steer clear a lot when I would like to go. This is defiently a MGMT issue sad to say someone needs help on how to run the business.“

“A great place. Been open many years. Recently on TV for their Anniversary. Sometimes crowded but they are quick and move fast. You can get breakfast sandwiches all day which is a plus. Coffee very good, another plus. Only takes cash, no big deal to me. Grew up in South Philly and local neighborhood places the same. Got scrapple, egg & cheese, bacon, egg & cheese, peppers , egg & cheese. All outstanding. Owner Bruce and his wife working up front, working, greeting and monitoring everything.“
