“My family of 10 went for a birthday. We had a great time. The food was delicious. The performance was extremely entertaining. The fire volcano was iconic! Everyone loved that. The service was top notch. We all had a great time and will be coming back. I felt that the price was worth the experience. It was about $35 a person. More then half of us ordered the steak.“

What really sets it apart are the thoughtful little touches—delicate dabs of caviar and other unexpected accents that enhance and elevate each piece without overpowering the fish.

My friend and I started with the oysters and tuna tasting platter. The oysters were exquisite, and the tuna was, as always, exceptional. We followed with the sushi and sashimi combination, adding salmon, king salmon, and chutoro and Otoro. Heavenly doesn’t even begin to describe it. Every bite was beautifully balanced and absolutely delicious.

The cocktails are equally well crafted, and we ended the meal with sorbet—lemon for my friend and coconut for me. The perfect, refreshing finish to an outstanding meal.

“Although it’s named “to-go” there are actually 2 tables inside for dine in with 4 chairs each. I got the lunch special and they brought my food out and gave me iced water with it! The sushi was fresh and delicious. The man who brought my food out even turned the fan on and put it in my direction. They are all super friendly! Would definitely recommend for the food and service.“

This seems to be a family owned well run restaurant
After landing in philly and resting a few hours i walked to the acme from my airbnb for wine and minor things but i saw fuki sushi was across the street along side the peruvian chicken joint. I got a couple pieces of chicken from the peruvian chicken joint (i will review them on another post) and i decided to eat at fuki sushi and let me say i was no ways disappointed. This joint is slamming and smacking. I had a Japanese lycee soda (with the marble in it) but i lost the smacker for the marble so the waiter said i will bring you another no sir just charge me for both and we good. I love lycees but this had the slight flavor of lycee but it will have to do until i get back to the east.
The food
I had pan fried chicken pot stickers which were so delicious
I had the dragon roll sushi which was busy spicy hot and flavorful
It was all so good
This place was busy with lots of take out orders
But i recommend grabbing a table
Eating and enjoying the meal immediately
I will return before i leave but this place is a 5 star joint

“This place is a gem. Fast and friendly service, the best ginger dressing on a house salad I have ever tasted. The freshest fish you will find on the main line. The rice was served at the perfect temperature. The owners and staff are the nicest people you will ever meet. If I could only eat at one restaurant for the rest of my life, this would be the one.“

“My daughter said that she was looking to have sushi for lunch today, so we decided to give Herosame in Ardmore a try. Wow, this is one of the best sushi meals we've had in the Philly area and definitely on the Main Line. I called in our takeout order and the server who took our order was very friendly and polite as was the server who brought us our order while we waited in the vestibule. We ordered the Lunch Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box and the Lunch Triple Roll Combo. Wow! I thought they had accidentally give us another person's order as the bags were quite heavy. Both lunch specials could easily be split over two meals or at least a meal and a leftovers snack. The Lunch Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box included a small house salad, a pint of Miso Soup, 2 Shumai, a California Roll, 6 large Teriyaki Shrimp and a pint of steamed white rice. The salad was a crisp and refreshing spring mix with thinly shredded carrots and a halved grape tomato with a delicious dressing. The Miso soup was very rich and tasty. The Shumai were delicious with a nice crisp exterior, but soft, tender and enjoyable meat inside. The California Roll was huge and stuffed with super fresh crab stick and vegetables topped off with tobiko. The Teriyaki Shrimp were just a hair overcooked, but still delicious. The Three Roll Lunch Combo featured a choice of three rolls from a list of twenty different rolls so my daughter picked the Shrimp Avocado Roll, Tempura Roll and Philly Roll. All three rolls, just like my Bento Box's California Roll were huge with the Shrimp Tempura Rolls being gigantic. One piece of the tempura roll was at least twice the size of other sushi rolls I've had. Each roll was stuffed with the traditional meats and veggie fillings. Everything was so fresh and delicious! Herosame will definitely be on our family's list for future Japanese lunches and dinners!“

“Kasumi Sushi was our go-to lunch spot when I worked at an office near the Philadelphia Airport. My coworkers and I ate here regularly, both dining in and ordering takeout, and it never let us down.
The bento box lunch special with soup was our usual order, and it was consistently satisfying — generous portions, fresh ingredients, and good variety in each box. It's the kind of reliable, well-priced lunch that makes it easy to become a regular.
What stood out most was the consistency. Whether we called ahead for takeout or sat down for a quick meal, the quality and service were dependable every time. Our whole office group kept coming back, which says a lot.

We have been ordering delivery once a week since the quarantine (min order of $25 to qualify). They are offering credit card payment over the phone, and the delivery man safely passed off our order from a distance while wearing gloves. “New Leaf is a Manayunk staple for sushi and Asian cuisine. I’ve ordered delivery and dine-in, and it’s never disappointed.

I’ve never sat at the bar, but I wonder if it’s good. It looks like a decent spot, maybe next time I’ll check it out!

“First impressions, trying to park was a bit confusing I still don't know if parking where I did is right. there is a small area around the restaurant that seems like it could be parking but no lines or guidance out front. Also this place is really small looking on the outside. As soon as I walked in it felt really awkward.i almost walked back out because everyone was just staring at me. Finally after what seemed like forever the sushi chef greeted me. When I was seated the waitress took my order and served me promptly. The miso soup was delicious. The edamame tasted fresh. The prices are a bit more than what I'm use to. I also had the sushi and sashimi lunch combo. The fish tasted very fresh and cleaned very well. Which explains the price. I would come back. Give it a try.

“Went today for lunch. They started lunch service a few weeks ago. It was delicious and very fresh! We ordered an assortment of apps and rolls. Enjoyed them all. Was not crowded but as word spreads that they are open for lunch now I expect that will change! Look forward to visiting again.“

Online ordering can be finnicky if ordering Lunch specials though, the site's clock seems to think it's an hour later than it actually is so you can't submit an order containing lunch specials after 2pm despite them being available until 3pm. You get an error telling you it's after 3pm & that you have to change your order, however calling to order them was no issue.“

“My family had a wonderful time here for my son's 11th birthday! He wanted to try out the hibachi experience, so we reserved a hibachi table. There was another family at the table across from us enjoying a meal as well. The food was incredible (though not one of us managed to catch a piece of it in our mouths), my husband said it was the best meal he's had all year. The hibachi room is decorated with murals of video game & cartoon characters like Mario & SpongeBob, which was great because my son is a gamer. “Pearl Chinese & Japanese Cuisine location on North Lansdowne Ave has good employees that provide good food that is made with care. While I visited in April 2026, Dine in tables were just available in one room near the chefs cutting board station. The small dinning room is in this reviews pictures for customers to see. The other main dining room was blocked off. Keep up the good work on To-Go orders quick pick up times. Their location reminds me of a normal house. Especially when you walk in and straight ahead is stairs going up like a house. Good Luck in 2026 & Beyond.“
