“Food is great, staff is very friendly & accommodating. Lunch specials are a solid value. Delivery is crazy fast & fee is only $2 despite everywhere else in the area charging $4+. Spicy Wontons in Garlic Sauce appetizer is a great deal, big portion for under $8!

Online ordering can be finnicky if ordering Lunch specials though, the site's clock seems to think it's an hour later than it actually is so you can't submit an order containing lunch specials after 2pm despite them being available until 3pm. You get an error telling you it's after 3pm & that you have to change your order, however calling to order them was no issue.“

“This is the current highest quality Chinese food in at least 50 miles. The food is always fresh and never taste or smells old. They use fresh ingredients. I've ordered from other places and got old rotted meat, but Sakura Teriyaki is always fresh. They have big juicy whole shrimps instead of the processed frozen shrimps. You can really taste the difference in quality when ordering food here. It's always fresh and delicious.I'm knocking down one star because they didn't give chop sticks or spicy mustard with our order. Also, when did places stop giving complimentary egg rolls? Also, if you order egg rolls without specifying a meat, they'll just give you basic vegetable egg rolls without asking any questions. The person taking the order should make more of an effort to make sure you're getting what you want instead of just putting in an order by checking off boxes. Other than that, this is the ONLY place where I will go to get Chinese food because it's the best Chinese food.“

“Came in close to closing time and I genuinely felt bad about it, but the staff was so gracious and got our orders in super fast. The inside is small, maybe 20 to 25 people max. We ordered a salad to share and five special rolls. The fish was super fresh and really plentiful in each roll, and everything was filling and delicious. Vegetarian options are available too which is always a plus. Huge thank you to the workers who took care of us and stayed a little past closing. Will definitely be back and plan to BYOB next time. I don’t know how or why it was so good but it was and I felt compelled to leave a review. “If you’re looking for delicious Japanese comfort food, this place is definitely worth a visit. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen and the spicy crab inari, and both were absolutely amazing. The tonkatsu ramen had a rich, flavorful broth with perfectly cooked noodles and tender toppings that made every bite satisfying. The real surprise, though, was the spicy crab inari—it was the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and spicy, and quickly became my favorite dish of the meal. The quality of the food, attention to detail, and great flavors made for an excellent dining experience. I can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu. Highly recommend!“

“Ramen was excellent. Fish was not top quality but priced appropriately for what it was. I did find either a blood vessel or worm in a cut of tuna so I didn't eat that piece. I think the chef is supposed to cut that stuff out but must have missed it. It is sushi, after all, so always a risk. Not the end of the world and I'm always careful to check my fish before eating it like anyone should.

What was more upsetting than that though, was the way the ginger is kept on the table like a condiment. I dont think it's appealing, safe, or aesthetically pleasing so I'm not sure why they do it. Just provide an option on the order menu for your food to come with ginger or not. Ginger is one of my favorite parts of a sushi meal but I wasn't going to eat communal ginger that had been on the table for anyone to touch, cough on, etc. Gross to be honest.“

“I am a bit of a sushi efficianado and this place blows me away every time. The freshness of their ingredients set it apart. they carefully construct their bowls and I haven't had a dissapointing roll yet. It's also extremely affordable. I really recommend the Poke bowl. If you're a fan of sushi this place is a must try.“

“I'm shocked I do not have a photo of the Salmon Bento that I have gotten at least 20 times already. I usually have it delivered via Uber Eats and it's so good that I dive right in when I get it! It comes with perfectly cooked salmon on a bed of sauteed broccoli and onions in a yummy teriyaki sauce. The sides are shrimp and veggie tempura, gyoza, California rolls, and white rice. You know when you find that one go-to restaurant that eases even the worst day at work? Sakura is that restaurant for me!

If you want the bento at a cheaper price - try the lunch specials; it's equally delicious!

I highly recommend this place and will continue to order hopefully for years to come!

“Honestly amazing food. I got takoyaki and tonkatsu ramen, both of which were amazing. The takoyaki were obviously freshly made, and tasted delicious, and the ramen was flavorful and rich. I got chashu pork in my ramen and my only regret is not ordering extra meat, because it was so tender and flavorful. It was all very reasonably priced, especially considering how massive the portion of ramen was. My entire meal came out to around $20.“

This seems to be a family owned well run restaurant
After landing in philly and resting a few hours i walked to the acme from my airbnb for wine and minor things but i saw fuki sushi was across the street along side the peruvian chicken joint. I got a couple pieces of chicken from the peruvian chicken joint (i will review them on another post) and i decided to eat at fuki sushi and let me say i was no ways disappointed. This joint is slamming and smacking. I had a Japanese lycee soda (with the marble in it) but i lost the smacker for the marble so the waiter said i will bring you another no sir just charge me for both and we good. I love lycees but this had the slight flavor of lycee but it will have to do until i get back to the east.
The food
I had pan fried chicken pot stickers which were so delicious
I had the dragon roll sushi which was busy spicy hot and flavorful
It was all so good
This place was busy with lots of take out orders
But i recommend grabbing a table
Eating and enjoying the meal immediately
I will return before i leave but this place is a 5 star joint

“I had the opportunity to visit Uchi Philadelphia and decided to try the tasting menu. The food was exceptional, but I’ve always believed that great food tastes even better when it’s served by people who genuinely care—and tonight was a perfect example of that.

Our server, Bre, was fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without ever being intrusive, she made the entire experience feel personal and effortless. Every course was explained with enthusiasm, and her positive energy elevated an already incredible meal.

A special shout-out as well to the managers, Kinsey and Ashlyn. It’s easy to see that they have built a culture where hospitality comes first. When the leadership sets the right example, it shows in every interaction with the guests.

The tasting menu was outstanding, but what I’ll remember most is how the team made us feel. That’s the difference between a great restaurant and a truly memorable dining experience.

“My daughter said that she was looking to have sushi for lunch today, so we decided to give Herosame in Ardmore a try. Wow, this is one of the best sushi meals we've had in the Philly area and definitely on the Main Line. I called in our takeout order and the server who took our order was very friendly and polite as was the server who brought us our order while we waited in the vestibule. We ordered the Lunch Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box and the Lunch Triple Roll Combo. Wow! I thought they had accidentally give us another person's order as the bags were quite heavy. Both lunch specials could easily be split over two meals or at least a meal and a leftovers snack. The Lunch Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box included a small house salad, a pint of Miso Soup, 2 Shumai, a California Roll, 6 large Teriyaki Shrimp and a pint of steamed white rice. The salad was a crisp and refreshing spring mix with thinly shredded carrots and a halved grape tomato with a delicious dressing. The Miso soup was very rich and tasty. The Shumai were delicious with a nice crisp exterior, but soft, tender and enjoyable meat inside. The California Roll was huge and stuffed with super fresh crab stick and vegetables topped off with tobiko. The Teriyaki Shrimp were just a hair overcooked, but still delicious. The Three Roll Lunch Combo featured a choice of three rolls from a list of twenty different rolls so my daughter picked the Shrimp Avocado Roll, Tempura Roll and Philly Roll. All three rolls, just like my Bento Box's California Roll were huge with the Shrimp Tempura Rolls being gigantic. One piece of the tempura roll was at least twice the size of other sushi rolls I've had. Each roll was stuffed with the traditional meats and veggie fillings. Everything was so fresh and delicious! Herosame will definitely be on our family's list for future Japanese lunches and dinners!“

“I ordered several party trays from Tokyo Sushi and it was an amazing experience.
Everything was incredibly fresh, and the presentation was beautiful. As soon as I put the trays out, everyone was impressed!

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and there were so many great options to choose from. Everyone at the party found something they loved, and the vegetarian options were especially well done and thoughtfully prepared, which I really appreciated.

“My go to byob sushi place in media! The food is always so fresh and amazing. The rock shrimp tempura and calamari are so good with the side sauces they come with. I also love love, love their peanut avocado roll that I have yet to find anywhere else as food! Service is always quick and enjoyable!“

“Kasumi Sushi is located in a newer strip mall with ample, but tight parking. The inside was bright and nicely decorated. The floors were a little sticky and didn't look mopped. 

There are split booth's along the wall and quad tables throughout the inside. I sat at the long wooden sushi counter which was a little low for my liking, but I could still see the sushi chef in action. 

The staff was very attentive and nice. I was the only patron in there for a little while before it began to fill up around noon.

Their menu contains apps, classic rolls/signature rolls/sushi/sashimi, soups, salads, yaki soba/udon, Japanese ramen and teriyaki. They seem to be a QSR Japanese offering (no big bloated menu) with simple, but plenty of well thought out choices.

I ordered miso soup - $2.50 - was salty and had an off flavor. I would skip it next time. 

For sushi I went with the Angel Roll - $13.95 shrimp tempura, avocado topped with spicy crab meat with mayo, old bay powder - sizable pieces of eight that had a nice mix of flavors. I would have liked more spice, but a good choice and I also chose the Cowboy - $15.95 eight pieces, pepper tuna, avocado topped with seared beef with spicy mayo, hot chili, scallion, fried onion - big portion, tender beef, would have liked more spice, but overall the flavors went well together. The ingredients were fresh and the rolls were tight and held together.

I left absolutely stuffed. For this area of the city and for the parking, I think this spot is great. The roll varieties were creative, presentation was good and wait time was minimal (sushi chef was quick on the draw!) with fair prices. 

The bathroom was ok, but needed a good cleaning. 

I would repeat.

“We love Yuki! They have outstanding food, from appetizers to a large selection of Sushi. We've never had a bad meal or bad service here. We have been ordering delivery once a week since the quarantine (min order of $25 to qualify). They are offering credit card payment over the phone, and the delivery man safely passed off our order from a distance while wearing gloves. Support local businesses like Yuki Sushi right now if you're able to!“

“New Leaf is a Manayunk staple for sushi and Asian cuisine. I’ve ordered delivery and dine-in, and it’s never disappointed.

I’ve never sat at the bar, but I wonder if it’s good. It looks like a decent spot, maybe next time I’ll check it out!

“I've been to this restaurant a few times as my friend introduced it to me + it never disappoints. The first time I went on my own after church I tried Sushi for the 1st time I had Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and a salmon cucumber rolls and they were so good my favorite is the Philadelphia Roll. Today I went w/ my friend and we had the Chicken Urbon Ramen soup (hopefully I spelled right, haha!) it was so good ☺️. Totally recommend 😉“
