Niche cuisine, worth it if you are a fan of Japanese comfort foods or want to try something new. Phenomenal cocktail menu.
The food was alright. It was tasty however I couldn’t get what the restaurant was going for. They had a lot of appetizers and the menu was not sectionalized. The sashimi and gyoza were delicious. Salted Cucumber Gimlet is a must try cocktail
Most items are small plate items and plan on ordering 2 or 3 per person. A few items are larger plates, the server will let you know which ones. All were delicious. The server was friendly and knowledgeable about each item.

Popular items include the kanpachi (Japanese amberjack sashimi), which is fresh and served with an ideal acidic sauce, and the yamitsuki cabbage bao, which has a perfect sauce. The stuffed pepper and katsu curry with chicken and cheese are also highly recommended, with the curry portion being larger than expected. The eggplant dish, with its multiple layers and textures, receives praise, and the chef's special dishes often surprise diners.
