“This is the best speakeasy in Delaware! The atmosphere is there from the moment you enter the secret entrance, to the nightly live jazz performances. They offer a year round signature cocktail collection as well as rotating seasonal menus. There are food options as well.“

“Twisted Irons is by far our favorite place to hangout. Great beer and atmosphere. We're a bunch of beer loving parents with a swarm of kids and we have always felt welcome. They always have Capri Suns chilled and snacks at the ready which makes it my daughter's favorite spot too.“

“I went to this place last week and it was definitely a really good experience. We had a get together and chose this place. We were 15 people in all and each one of us was paid attention by the staff. This was probably the best part of visiting this place. The food was also delicious and drinks were good as well“
“A dope dive bar where a lot of different folk come together to forget about the outside world and have a few drinks over a game or two of pool. There’s tons of bar space and table seating which makes the walkway quite skinny, so be prepared to be bumping shoulders and hips with the patrons all night. Honestly the back wall being full of TVs is kind of hilarious and doesn’t fit the vibe but who cares. Didn’t get the bartender’s name with the tattoos but that guy was really cool. Bring the lads here.“

“Stopped for late lunch at Kennett Square. The day’s special, mushroom soup, was fabulous! Thick with assorted ’shrooms. The burger, beet salad and fish tacos were memorably great. Fast, friendly service. We will be back!“

“Whenever I need to unwind and I’m in Delaware, I come here. It’s like “Cheers” for my people. I’m in my zone, playing the jukebox, chatting with the regulars, and having a Jack. The owner “Lady” is the realest lady I know, she’s a mentor to many and a force in the community.“

“This place is great for after party or if you just want to watch a game, or if you had a stressful day at work or just wanna unwind and hangout with friends.
We randomly tried this place and see how it is, they don't serve food but you can order next door (anthony's) and they'll deliver it to you or you pick it up... drinks are great and affordable, I recommend to try espresso martini ? and the white tea shot!!?

“I've been commuting from VA everyday fr the past few weeks. Ended up working late and getting a room. Found this place after a did a quick Google maps search, and was IMMEDIATELY sold when a review said this bar reminded them of "Cheers".
BRIAN was the bartender when I came in. He was super welcoming and had great small talk. As someone who's never been here, he treated me like a regular.
CHARLIE, who prepared the food, also came out when he had time and was a pleasure to chat with. The food he made was really good.
The environment is what I look for in a bar. If I lived here, this would be my regular spot.. It's refreshing to find small places like this, where people care and build a welcoming environment. I'd come back, NO QUESTION! Cheers to another late work day!“

“It's got pool tables, if you like to shoot, the staff is friendly -ish. It's a good atmosphere. A couple of the bartenders are okay, they are kind of slow and not very customer service friendly, but other than that I don't have any issues here and everyone seems pretty laid back.“

“My sister and Fiancé usually go Suite 4 Eleven for date night. One particular Saturday she asked me to go with them so they could see if this would be a great place to hold their after party for the wedding. Needless to say we will be booking a section in September for after the wedding. This is our new hangout spot. The DJ,food,hookah and professionalism of the staff is what absolutely sold it for us!“

“I was NOT disappointed! I decided to come here for a Saturday lunch after scrolling through the options in Wilmington. I was able to find parking on the street easily. I walked in, sat at the bar right away and was quickly greeted with a friendly bartender. I was super excited to see that they have Leinie’s on tap! As a Wisconsin native I couldn’t pass up the Leinie’s Juicy Peach sour. It was a great and refreshing drink. I also enjoyed the French Onion Soup. It came out piping hot and was perfect. I am glad I made it here and will definitely be back!“

“A great venue, not far from the UD campus right on the river. Good food at decent prices. Their upstairs venue space is awesome. We are there monthly for the Vanguard Event and they go out of their way with custom drinks and great service. 10/10 would recommend!“

“Violet Pub is my favorite Pub in Delaware! Falyn is thee best Startender EVER! She pours the most perfect lemon drops! My drink is usually ready before I walk through the door! My friends and I frequent this establishment at least 4 times a week to unwind from our work days! It’s our “Cheers Bar” b/c everyone knows your name. LolSo, pop in on Tuesday for Karaoke & food truck, Friday for Feel Good Friday & food truck, Saturday for Sexy Saturday & food truck, or even Sunday to shoot pool and watch the game! I promise you’ll love the chill vibe as much as we do! ?“
