“I had dinner for the second time and it was just as good as the first time. Emma was our waitress and she was so sweet and attentive. Three of us split the calamari appetizer, had drinks, dinners and desserts. All of us were happy with our choices.“
“Went there for an early dinner. The place was fairly empty when we got the but began to fill up rather quickly. We had got lucky with road parking (the garage is right around the corner). Service was good, and the food was delicious. Everyone at the table was satisfied with the meal. A bit expensive, but worth the money from what we experienced.Kid-friendliness: They had highchairs, but no booster seats. We sat at a booth and it worked well with the little one.“
“We ordered by door dash. It wasn't quick but that was fine. We had pizza and wings. Big pizza nice amount of cheese and toppings. The wings had a lot of sauce and were crunchy. Could have been meatier. Lots of leftovers! Will order again.“
“Wonderful drinks and dinner at Portobellos Kenneth Square. A pear cocktail, very fruity and tasty. A Bailey's, Kahlua and Fireball that was delicious. A mushroom and Jim Beam Manhattan, smoky and did have a mushroom background. We started with mushroom arancini, cheesy and mushroomy. The clams Avalon, their take on clams casino, but are so much better. The clams are definitely the star, not killed with an overabundance of bread crumbs, and the clams are left whole, not minced. Tender, chewy and clammy with their liquor still in the shell. The saucy ravioli is mushroomy and creamy. The crispy duck with cherry sauce is fall off the bone tender. All in all a great birthday dinner.“
“Our server Zoe was great, she was friendly and patient while we decided, because everything on the menu sounded good and we couldn't choose! The food was excellent, highly recommend trying the zucchini fries for a starter. We did not have to wait for a table and were seated and attended to quickly despite it starting to get busier. We will be back.“
“Cozy restaurant in Kennett Square. Notably serves a few pasta dishes and several pizza options. First time dinning in and it was great. Staff was friend and helpful. Food was very good. Ordered pasta with short rib and it was tasty. Partner ordered a steak and it was cooked to perfection. Drinks were tasty and desserts were great. Overall I'd love to visit again, next you time I'd like to try their pizzas since there were a few eye catching combinations.“
“I love walking into a place and be regarded as family! Everyone there is so nice and after just a few visits they remember you. The place is clean, the service is amazing and the atmosphere is great. This is probably the closest thing to getting a hoagie in Philly.“
“This has been my favorite restaurant for years. Whatever you get, you know it’s going to be well made, filling, and delicious. The inside is really cool looking and the staff has always been super kind and helpful. If you’re looking for a new favorite place, it’s here.“
“The restaurant is near a corporate center and has a large parking lot. The main room where we sat was very noisy. The server was excellent and the food was delicious. My husband had the lasagna and I had the acorn agnolotti. Amazing Italian bread too. And they have a little market onsite filled with items to purchase. I would definitely recommend and return.“
“Seating was right on time with our reservation. The staff were warm and welcoming. Menu was well rounded and the food was delicious. Pricing was a bit high, but not enough to bypass next time. * complimentary valet parking was fine, but unexpected *“
“First time there for our daughter's birthday. Good friends with us for the dinner as well and the overall feeling is that everyone thought all dinners were amazing. I personally had the seafood alla vodka which was great. Shared a limoncello cake for dessert and again, amazing. Josiah was our server and was absolutely the best!“
“The food was outstanding. we had the crab bisque and a beet salad. For our entrées, we had a pesto risotto with burrata & sausage and chicken genovese... they were both great ! We also tried one of their pizzas just for future reference each had a slice and took the remainder home. The pizza was really good. The food could've possibly come out a little slower meaning the courses, but probably being a little picky. The atmosphere was very pleasant. You forgot you were in a strip mall. I felt like the noise was perfect for Saturday night that's saying a lot. But the restaurant had many customers. my only ding would be they desperately need a hostess to greet you at the door. We had a reservation for 730 and although they did acknowledge us, it was sort of like when they were walking by. Considering the high-level of everything else I'm sure they're on the lookout for a few hostesses or hosts. We will definitely be returning and I've already recommended it to other people.“
“The good: The food was delicious. The Caesar salad was excellent. On the weekend the brother that doesn't own the restaurant makes the Caesar salad now. He told us about how he learned to make it from his father. I really enjoyed hearing the story and watching him make it up close. It made up for the slow service. The bad: The service was extremely slow. It took 30+ minutes to get our drinks ordered and served and our orders taken. They did bring out the complimentary appetizer before that but it would have been great to have at least my drink order filled. This was a birthday celebration that I did notate on the reservation. Had 2 of my friends not been there with us we probably would have left because sitting for 30 mins with no acknowledgment is really pretty unacceptable. I understand being busy and short staffed but I did very politely mention to the hostess prior to that no one had waited on us. She came over and said oh you have the complimentary appetizer and said they are very busy. She should have at least taken our drink orders. Also my partner ordered the surf and turf. Online it says filet and lobster. He got filet and crab cake. He did not say anything because we had waited so long to get orders placed and to get the food. The steak was cooked exactly as he asked but a crab cake is not the same as lobster. And had he known this he wouldn't have ordered the crab cake appetizer. The waitress was also very nervous acting. She was super nice and sort of attentive just nervous and slow. We gave her a 22% tip but she would have gotten 30% had she done a better job. Overall it was a nice evening but with annoyances that I hope the restaurant sees and understands isn't acceptable especially when a reservation is notated as a birthday celebration. I will be back but not for any type of celebration with friends.“
“Absolutely some of the best tasting and closest to homemade Italian food I’ve had yet. Absolutely perfect to dine in or order out, my old Italian Nonna loves to order from here when she doesn’t feel like cooking. Love this place so much, the interior and atmosphere is amazing and the food is even better. I always get the ravioli and it’s delicious every time. Parking isn’t ideal, then again that is not the restaurant’s fault. Wish I could go here more often, definitely a favorite spot.“
“Well, not to bore anybody but I’m Italian and extremely picky about my pizza. I actually like pasta better than pizza, but my son brought me a pizza today and I have to say it’s perfect.!!! It was crunchy yet soft, and the sauce is to die for and let me tell you I’m real picky about that. Not that any of you really care about my opinion. Lol I wish more of us knew about 896 pi we are all used to the pizza places closest to us give it a try …. you won’t be disappointed !!!!!“
“Catered a small family party for 20 people on March 3, 2024 and the food, as always was delicious. But I almost made a huge blunder, because I did not remember that Tony's is closed on Sunday. Dhara, the wonderful young woman, who took our order, volunteered to come into work that morning to help us out. I arrived at 11 am and everything was piping hot and ready for us. I can't thank her enough for doing this! Don Peloso“
“Food was outstanding, you can tell all of the pasta is made in house, from the gnocchi, to the ravioli it was all flavorful and delicious. The seating can be a little cramped in some areas but that tends to be how most restaurants in WC’s historical buildings are. Would definitely recommend Dolce Zola to any Italian lovers or for a great date night meal.“
“Santinos is our new go to spot thanks to Nicole! She makes it such a welcoming, homey environment.. she truly remembers her customers and makes sure they are taken care of while you're here! AND she makes the most incredible (orange) cosmo! Great food, great drinks and even better company! Highly recommend!“
“I am Holly's husband we went to Pastabilities on Saturday night with our son and his fiancee. Everything we ate was on point! From the appetizers, entrees to desert! We found the service to be excellent, Otis was our waiter and he couldn't have been more friendly or professional. Everything we ordered was freshly made and delicious. We will definitely be back Luigi serves some of the best Italian food I ever ate since my Grandmothers cooking!“
“We hosted a rehearsal dinner for 30!!! Spectacular coordination with Tim. Good servers were efficient and attentive. The delicious food from bruschetta, Caesar salad, pasta entrees and cannolis had our guests raving. Thank you so much!!! You helped us kickoff the wedding weekend for Thomas and Julia with a smile, a beaming heart and Full belly!! Molly and Joseph Oresik Reeders, PA“
“Usually amazing, I’ve been going here for a few years and I’ve always been a huge fan. This time I was pretty disappointed in the Gallagher fries, there wasn’t much cheese or brisket so the fries were kind of dry. I still did 5 stars because I don’t want this to deter anyone from trying americas pie, it’s a great locally owned business that I hope continues to thrive but I did want to leave a review in case they read these. Thanks for all the great food over the years!“
“A nice little pizza shop, I’m happy to have found today at work. They serve a crisp thin crust pizza that isn’t too heavy on the sauce or cheese, and therefore not overly greasy as well. (I know pizza is subjective but that’s exactly how I like it). I thought it was delicious and will likely try a sandwich next time. I’d love to see a chicken ceasar wrap on the menu someday, but there’s plenty of options there now. Very friendly people, and fair prices too. It appears to be take-out only, but there’s a few outdoor tables for nice weather. Ample parking, order from the kiosk inside, credit accepted/cash appreciated. Highly recommended.“
“ABSOLUTELY LOVE CASA ITALIA! It's always my recommendation for my loved ones looking to dine in this area. The employees are amazing..they are polite and professional. The owners are incredible they really know how to make you feel like family! The food is great every single time.“
“This place is a hidden gem in Pennsylvania. It is a must if you are in the Philadelphia area. From the drinks, appetizers to the main entrée are simply amazing. They also made my Martini from scratch.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free friendly“
“Stopped in after a lot of people recommended it. Very friendly staff at the bar and the food came out fast. Was a pretty busy place for 4p on a Sunday. Hardly a seat left in the place. Onion rings were delicious and pizza was just ok. Cool spot to grab a slice or order off the menu. I honestly thought the slice pies looked better, and thinner. Not sure why that would be.“
“Finally! Great pizza near Kennett Square!!!! The owner has to be from New York because this is goooood pizza. I've gotten all types of pizza there, and it's all very good. Try grandma's pie. It actually tastes better than my grandma's pie. Don't get FOMO! Check it out!“
“We did not make a reservation as it was a last minute decision. It was a Saturday nite so that was our fault. We had a half hour wait. There is a small bar when you walk in and the bartender welcomes you to sit down. I only had a diet Coke and he did not charge for that in a plastic cup. Our waitress was great! Very personable. I ordered the Italian wedding soup. I have never had one with so many little meatballs! It was filling. I ordered cheese raviolis with a garlic and olive oil sauce and she asked if I wanted 6 or 8. I went for the 6 and after the soup, I saved the rest and had for lunch the next day. They are big and very good. The only issue was the time between our soup and entree was a little long. It appears to be a very popular place. Many people were celebrating birthdays etc while we were there. Most people had reservations and the longest I think I saw a party wait with reservations was maybe 10 mins. My son said it's his favorite Italian restaurant in the Wilmington area. I would definitely go again and make reservations!“
“Solid cheesesteaks, love the rolls, they don't skimp on the meat, but take a name down with every order so you don't mix them up and read the order back to the customer. I ordered a buffalo chicken cheesesteak and got a buffalo beef cheesesteak, another time I ordered 2 cheesesteaks and you thought we ordered 3.“
“We have both dined in and taken out.During dine in the food has always been great. We like the pizza, chopped salad and calamari the most.During our recent take out experience, huge disappointment. The pizza was cold, like not even attempted to keep warm during the time it was made to picked up and the calamari was a bit soggy and also cold. Not likely to get take out again.Parking: Street parking on busy street or busy neighborhood side streetsWheelchair accessibility: Tight indoor space. May be hard to navigate. Can’t speak for bathroom space.“
“Always solid pizza with some unique toppings. Ricotta, sausage and long hots is my personal favorite. Tried the wings and they were very good. Also had a great superbowl deal. Fair pricing. Have been about 7 times now and have always been happy with my meal! Usually do takeout but always clean and relaxing setting inside.“
“Special Monday drinks and cheesesteaks with Amigo Dan. It’s hard to find Cheesesteaks and Alcohol on a Monday. Amigo Dan thinks he is a Pizza Expert so we went to Mercato and got a Mercato Pizza and Old Fashions. We liked Mercato’s. We liked our server. We liked our Old Fashions very much. I liked all of the ingredients that make the Mercato Pizza and just did not like them together as a pizza. The egg freaked me out.“
“Very chill vibe byobVegetarian options: Salad options, eggplant parmigianaDietary restrictions: Gluten-free PizzaParking: Parking lot on both sides of building are free!Kid-friendliness: Yes, always!Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible by ramp.“
“The food was really good and the server was friendly and helpful. They had outdoor dining with live music which made for a great evening. Will definitely come back. Only downside was that their last seating was 7:45, we got there at 7, and they were packing up tables before 8 so we felt like we got the bums rush out of there.“
“Seven years ago, I stumbled upon a quaint Italian restaurant, the Fiorello Cafe, which left an indelible mark on my gastronomic memory. Recently, I had the pleasure of revisiting this culinary haven, and it was as if no time had passed – the experience was just as enchanting. The moment you step into Fiorello you're transported into a world where traditional Italian warmth and modern elegance coexist harmoniously. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between cozy and chic, making it ideal for both casual lunches and special occasions. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the food. The lunch buffet at is nothing short of amazing. Each dish is a testament to their commitment to quality and authenticity. The ingredients are evidently fresh, and each recipe brims with flavors that are both robust and refined. The meatballs were my favorite. The selection is wonderfully diverse, offering something for everyone without overwhelming the diner. Every dish is executed with a level of skill and passion that is palpably evident in every bite. The buffet format, surprisingly elegant and constantly replenished, ensures that each dish is as fresh and inviting as possible. What truly sets this place apart is the remarkable consistency in quality. It's rare to find a restaurant that not only impresses on the first visit but also maintains its high standards over the years. This consistency, coupled with the inviting atmosphere and the exceptional food, makes Fiorello a place that doesn't just feed the body but also nourishes the soul. The Fiorello Cafe is a shining example of what an Italian restaurant should be. It's a place where every meal feels like a celebration of Italian culinary excellence. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a returning aficionado, this restaurant is sure to leave you dreaming about your next visit.“
“When I get a load to Coatesville, PA I know I’m going to be eating good for the next few days. A trip to Coatesville means the best pizza ever and a 12 in hoagie that is amazing usually but sometimes mistakes get made but it’s not an unforgivable mistake. I ordered my usual medium meat lovers pizza adding Canadian bacon, mushrooms and black olives and the special Italian hoagie which has pepperoni, capicola, Genoa salami, prosciutto and provolone cheese adding tomatoes, onions, pickles, bacon, mayo, spicy mustard, vinegar and oil and herein lies the mistake made today instead of the special Italian I got the American which is ham, Genoa salami, cooked salami, and American cheese with all my extras. I had it delivered so I’m stuck with the sandwich but they made it up to me by refunding the money I paid for it so I try a new sandwich for free. Little Anthony’s Pizza in Coatesville is the best and they are very friendly people that know the true meaning of customer service.“
“This is the only pizza ? place me and my wife and I go to. The ? bacon ranch pizza , chicken cheese steak ? and my wife get a l large turkey and cheese ? provolone.. and that sandwich be stake . You have to make a trip there. If you're in the area, check ✔️ the Gallery Pizza ? place out.. you will be glad ? you did.“
“I ordered a buffalo chicken cheese steak they used regular hot sauce in which I didn't care for but it was still decent and ordered a ham and cheese in which it was nasty. I was a little upset because I'm pregnant and they refused for me to use the bathroom. I guess I can't complain too much about it I guess. I will definitely try other types of cheese steaks“
“Fresh, colorful, and delicious linguine and clams. Fresh, house-made bread had a nice crust and soft on the inside. House salad had a good mix leaf variety, but could've used a bit more tomato and some fresh garlic or onion added. Trisha gave us excellent and personal customer service. She was very pleasant and made us feel very welcome. The prices were fair. Very nice ambiance with decorative, vintage-style LED lighting and comfortable indoor/outdoor seating. The traditional music and interior decor gave a touch of Italy☺️?. We look forward to coming back soon ☺️?“
“Absolutely love the pizza , the vibe inside is always up, and the service is super the friendly, the pool table and the jukebox with big speakers all around the shop is a plus , love itParking: Pull up to the sidewalk in front of the pizza shop or also across the street is a little parking lotKid-friendliness: As soon as you walk in your greetedWheelchair accessibility: It’s sits right on the hwy then right into the shop“
“A small group of friends who do not see one another often went to Valle Cucina for lunch. The table was ready for us but the space in the booth was crowded, partially due to heavy jackets with no coat rack. Some of my heavier friends would not have fit in the booth. The food was excellent and the server was extremely friendly. I would recommend asking for a different, larger booth. Also we had sun glare from a car windshield and had to ask to have the shade lowered. Awkward situation with the adjoining booth occupants, but the server handled it well. I plan to go again with other friends but knowing the seating situation will be helpful on that visit.“
“Awesome environment and friendly service. The food speaks for itself the most authentic pizza in DelawareVegetarian options: VarietyParking: Huge parking lotKid-friendliness: My kids begged me to come backWheelchair accessibility: It is accessible though all sides wheelchair friendly“
“Their food is top notch- specifically white pizza, cheesesteaks, and broccoli bites. Family favorites - Even my kids eat broccoli bites!I primarily get delivery, but I’ve eaten in restaurant also. When they deliver food, 100% of the time it’s piping hot!“
“My first visit today they were accommodating and made me shrimp parmigiana to go that wasn't on the menu. I told them it better be good or I'd talk about them. It was deeeelicious and a big portion, bread rolls too...didn't have to wait long. Tasty food & good service, I'll definitely be back!“
“Sovana Bistro is a great venue for a small party. I was there years ago for a bridal shower and recently for a baby shower. The private room we were in was comfortable and bright even on a rainy day. Guests were seated at long tables, and food was on a buffet table.“
