“Scalessa's gave me 2 great things. The first was the happy flashback of eating at Priori's at home. The secons was that Scalessa's food was out of this world. I had the Four Cheese Gnocchi which bards would write poems about. I cannot say enough about the awesomeness of this fine establishment! I will definitely come back when I visit my sister again.👍“

“We visited last night. We were greeted right away. The service was so good. I had Shells Aurora. Simply amazing. Pasta and chicken was cooked perfectly. My boyfriend didn't see chicken marsala on the menu. only chicken parmesan.He asked and they made him the chicken marsala. So good too. We ordered wine. I had the Cabernet and he had the Pino Noir .Both wines were rich and savory. Very tasty. The floor manager even came up to make sure we were happy. That was very nice. we received the check and the server boxed up our food for us. The check really was not expensive. I paid and gave a 25% tip. I normally don't care either way with itailian resteraunts but this place was so nice. Rustic and warm atmosphere, pleasant staff, and amazing food. Will visit again for sure.“

“If the Concord Mall is a dying husk of what it once was, Café Riviera is an oasis in the desert. We've been stopping in this little hidden gem for more than 20 years, but hadn't visited in a long while. Tonight we made a special trip, and were greatly relieved to find not only are they still open, but the food is still top notch. We were seated right away by friendly staff. Server was attentive and obliging. Our food took quite a while, but it was obviously made to order and totally worth the wait. There's not much our family of four can agree on, but we all came away happy. Amazing pizza, beautiful calzone, delicious garlic knots. Serving sizes were more than we could eat, plenty of leftovers to bring home. In a fast-changing world, it's nice to find some things exactly the way you remember them.“

Mike also recommended some great places to see while we were in the region, since we were visiting for a double relative’s funeral. “Update: We have lived here nearly a year and this is still our go-to place. My oldest daughter is now vegan and they custom make her vegan breadsticks. Love these guys! We order from here usually once per week. Their plain pizza is classic. I think they put cinnamon in their crust—there is something special. It’s the only pizza that all of my kids like. Win! Oh, and the guy that answers the phone and does the register is always so nice! Highly recommend!“

“Yatz's is the BEST. Definitely in the top 3 of Delaware. The Ladies who create those delicious mouth watering subs are tremendously nice and very kind. The best part for me are the Tomatoes that Yatz's uses. I do not know where they get it from but when its laid on that turkey sub with a bag of chips and a cold one from their great juice selection....food ambiance at its finest. “We ordered a cheese pizza with half roasted peppers . We also ordered fries . The food came out hot . The pizza was delicious and the peppers were cooked very nicely . The waitress was kind and very down to earth . We will eat there again“

“Im from philly so I know a real hoagie when I see one and Primos hoagies on kirkwood hwy is the place to go. I drove for miles today just to go to Primos. They're from the philly area so they definitely know how to make a good hoagie. Lots of meat Cheese and toppings. They don't skimp on anything like other phony hoagie, sub places in delaware. So check out Primos hoagies. You won't be sorry. Their prices are reasonable and the restaurant is super clean. The staff is fantastic“

“I patronize Seasons at least twice weekly. The $10.99 special represents exceptional value. The service consistently exceeds expectations. Kim typically attends to our table, providing a personalized and welcoming experience. Her service consistently ensures a pleasant visit.“

“Stopped in for lunch one afternoon. I got a slice and side salad lunch combo. It was a decent meal, although Seasons has never been my favorite for pizza, I do enjoy other things from their menu. I really enjoyed the salad, it was very fresh. The service was great and the place was clean.“

“Management is the issue at this location. Three issues. They don't honor their military discount consistently. I have the receipt to prove that they applied the military discount to the desserts on our bill at the end of April (attached). A month later, they tried to not honor the military discount on the desserts. I had to request multiple times that they honor it to get them to do the right thing in the end with too much effort needed on my part. Bill charges don't match the menu. I noticed that their billing system didn't match their new menu on my end of April visit. I in fact confirmed that I was provided the new menu for the record to be sure that I wasn't looking at an older version of the menu. The server, Nina, was great to help me get it resolved at least for that April visit. I was able to get management to modify the prices of the desserts on our bill for this April visit. The bigger issue though is that they had a full month until our next visit to have their billing system match the new menu prices. You can't make this stuff up! They in fact didn't make the necessary changes in their billing system confirmed via interaction with their staff. Our server confirmed that the billing system wasn't modified to match the menu at least with regards to the desserts that we ordered. Both servers further confirmed that manual changes needed to be made to get our bill to reflect the right charges for our desserts. A very disrespectful assumption was made by management when she stated the following to me ... something like I can't believe people come out to restaurants without the ability to pay their bill. That was in fact the gist of her statement to me as I'm paraphrasing but know what she meant. That was not the case for my scenario and a very disrespectful thing to say to any customer. I happen to have an 830 credit score per one of the credit bureaus for good reason. I'm only indicating this not to brag but to defend my reputation for such an inappropriate statement made to me. I consistently pay my obligations and on time. They made that statement to the wrong customer as they've earned this detailed negative review. I simply told them that I would only pay the amount of the bill that we in fact legitimately owed. She didn't like that in this case. My opinion is that she automatically assumed that my request for them to honor the military discount that they state that they offer and should honor as promised was taken as if I didn't have the money to pay my bill. I also legitimately contested their up charge for the french fries that I was offered as a choice with my Italian sub lunch special item. Their lunch special menu sheet indicates at the bottom, "Extra Charges for Additions". While in fairness to the restaurant, menu item #8 for the sub lunch special indicates with chips and doesn't indicate with chips or fries, they need to do better by making it more clear as I didn't have an addition to my order since I wasn't delivered the chips with this particular meal. I was provided the fries instead of the chips. If they want to charge more for certain substitutions (if they even want to offer substitutions), they then need to make it clear on the lunch special menu what that up charge is in those cases. That's their choice whether to offer substitutions. If they're not going to allow for substitutions, they need to indicate that in writing on their lunch special menu as well. In the end, they did credit my bill for my May visit with a dollar amount acceptable which seemed to include the up charge being waived for my lunch special. The main issue is that it took far too much effort to get them to do the right thing. They have lost my business forever. I did in fact offer to pay the up charge for the sub lunch special item shortly before being provided my updated bill. I did this to give them the benefit of the doubt being a fair minded guy due to their #8 sub menu item only listing chips and not chips or frie“
