“After 32 years out of NJ pizza has been disappointing. So now that I am in NJ for work until July, my quest is to eat 2 slices of cheese pizza at every place the locals recommend. Today, it's Joe's, and they did not disappoint!!! Highly recommend to any visitor and other locals. The test of good pizza is the point folds off the plate and it leaves a nice red oily stain on the paper plate...both were spot perfect...the crust was perfect, the cheese was gooey and flavor top notch. if I work in the area tomorrow, it's calzone or stromboli!!“

“I stopped here once on my way home from PHL after placing an online order for a roast pork, broccoli rabe & sharp provolone sandwich with long italian hot peppers. They were closing the kitchen for the day but the chef still made it for me and it was the best roast pork sandwich I've ever had. The kitchen is inside McBride's Bar & Grill which seems like a classic neighborhood bar. I went inside and asked at the bar for pickup.“

“This has the best detroit style pizza I’ve ever had. Polizzi makes solid oven brick pizza. I will say for the original cheese pizza, it’s good, but it’s not the best. The dough and cheese, impeccable, but the sauce didn’t do it for me. Otherwise, great pizza.“

We had Emily and she was super sweet, she keep checking to make sure we were okay and just made everything even more awesome. Our food .... I wanted to go back the next day! It was absolutely delicious. The appetizers just were the roll of red carpet greatness! Everything tasted great and left you wanting more. Everything has the fire grilled taste, and we had leftovers! “Everything we have ordered has been fabulous. My personal favorite are the homemade soups--they are my go to dinner on a busy night or a chilly day. I felt under the weather today and ordered the chicken orzo soup. It came piping hot with warm fresh rolls....just what I needed! And of course...finish off with a cannoli!“

“I had 4 different cheesesteaks while in Philadelphia this past week. LaSpada’s was the best. Mini is just right for lunch. Got it with Cooper’s cheese, mushrooms, fried onions and red peppers. I liked that it wasn’t overloaded with cheese. High quality meat and bun.

“I wanted to share how wonderful the staff at the Deptford Olive Garden were to my family tonight. Dinner got off to a slow start, and with two young kids at the table, I was feeling a little overwhelmed. When I mentioned the wait to the manager, he immediately jumped in and brought us breadsticks, salad, and soup.

What really meant a lot was that he kept an eye on our table afterward. Our entrees were taking a while, and before I even had to say another word, he came over and offered to take care of our check. That was incredibly generous, but it was the fact that he noticed and cared that stayed with me. The manager's name was Peter. Tall handsome man!

Another server, Andrew, (great hair very handsome) who wasn’t even assigned to our table, also kept stopping by to refill drinks and make sure we had what we needed. They made us feel genuinely cared for, and what could have been a stressful dinner turned into such a positive experience. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for taking such good care of us!“

The bread was hard, they never cut your hoagie anymore even when you request it, and I think they are giving you much less meat than before. Overall, still great, just noticing some decline in food and service.“

Almost went to another shop but felt weird that they include forced tip for pickup?!? I left Pete’s a tip anyway but there’s a huge difference between wanting to leave one vs being forced to, for pickup!!!
