“The place is beautiful and very welcoming. The wait staff couldn't be nicer. I got the tortilla soup which was really good and HUGE! Big bowl! I saw the sandwiches going by so I knew they were big. I shared one with my friend. It was delish and more than ample! The turkey was fresh and there was a lot of it! Hard to get your mouth around (but I managed)! But that crusty Italian bread just put it over the top! Really awesome! All of the food I saw go past me looked equally as awesome! Go! Have a sandwich, a coffee, a flatbread, whatever! Really great! “My husband and I went to a fundraiser here for the first time and enjoyed everything about this hidden gem. We had the chicken parmigiana which was a large enough portion for several meals. The tiramisu was amazing as well. Will definitely be back to enjoy a wonderful home cooked meal.“

“Me and my sister decided to come randomly to try your Alfredo pasta. My sister had the shrimp Alfredo and loved it. I decided to get chicken, shrimp, and crab meat. “Just like Nona’s kitchen. The Scipelle soup is incredibly delicious. Perfect. This menu item, which is a very rare find, is a cherished dish here and Fiene’s rendition is the definitive preparation. I’ve been coming here for years to reconnect with my family roots through this soup and the recipe has not changed.You will not find better. Period.A major hit menu item was the Zuppa Inglese. This is not an Italian specialty dessert many may recognize. I’ve NEVER seen this on a menu before and I’m so glad I spotted it on the Holiday menu. Zuppa Inglese is an Italian Trifle dessert, similar in assembly to Tiramisu (which is also a menu star here). I hadn’t had this dish since the family holiday dinners of my youth. Curious how this found its way onto the menu I was informed that a matriarchal family member made this to order in advance at a the request of a good customer. Time consuming to prepare several of these were made and I was the beneficiary of a most wonderful accommodation.The folks at Fiene’s are family. They are “family” to the restaurant and to their guests as everyone here takes an ownership attitude. You will eat well. You will be treated well, like valued family members.I cannot say enough about the satisfaction of a Fiene’s experience.“
“I was surprised, being there for the first time for dinner, that Tuscan Bistro had lobster bisque soup and bacon wrapped scallops for an appetizer, my two favorites. I asked if it was regularly on the menu, and was told no, but the ingredients for the bacon wrapped scallops are always on the menu, so it could be made to order. My husband had the staple, Chicken Parmesan, which he said was very good and tender. We will definitely be going back for dinner, and not only for lunch. I had a lot of empty mussels/clams I my bowl, calamari was a bit chewy and the sauce was very bland. Food was a bit pricey for what you got. The loaf of bread was fantastic and the donuts were awesome - we chose some classics like chocolate frosted and chocolate cream filled but also a couple exotics like red velvet, salted caramel and peanut butter and jelly. “Popped in the bar after work on a Saturday around 6:00pm. Bar was full and the restaurant seemed very busy, but we were greeted right when we walked in by the bartender. We had a new beer in a brand new chilled glass just 2 sips before we were finished with the first one (which is perfect timing). Food came out very quickly for a weekend night. I got a cheesesteak, which tasted like it came straight from south philly. Others got chicken and pasta dishes which looked incredible! Will be coming back next time I am in town for work!“

We also used Scarpinato's on a number of occasions for their catering and the quality of the food was just as great as eat-in and it was ready on time and it was hot! “Lascala's Fire Glassboro is a great place to dine, as we've now been there nearly a dozen times. They've have a nice basic Italian themed menu and now they're offering some house specials which we thought was a great addition. As for food, chicken San Remo was delicious; I tried the house special seafood Pescatore which delicious shellfish in a rich bowl of red sauce over rice. The dish could be improved if offered over pasta, & also provided less sauce as the seafood was being drowned in so much sauce and was hard to find. Appetizers chicken wings & the spicy shrimp Pompeii were great starters. Service was excellent; Desiree was very friendly & took great care of our table. They offer nice beer, wine & drinks also.
