“It has been a while since we ordered from here. Well, today I ordered early before the NYE rush, and received my pizza in about 20 minutes which was fantastic. My main reason for this recommendation is that the pizza was ABSOLUTELY delicious, it could've taken an hour to get here and still be worth the wait. It wasn't like their pizza from a few years ago which was always good, But today's pizza was out of this world. Chewy, lots of cheese and an amazing sauce on it. I'm a sauce fan, this sauce was the perfect amount of sweet, salty and oh boy the garlic (not powerful at all, but nice amount). Not sure if there's a new owner or what, but the pizza is different, DELICIOUS different! And the service was wonderful from the lady on the phone to the guy that delivered.“

“Scalessa's gave me 2 great things. The first was the happy flashback of eating at Priori's at home. The secons was that Scalessa's food was out of this world. I had the Four Cheese Gnocchi which bards would write poems about. I cannot say enough about the awesomeness of this fine establishment! I will definitely come back when I visit my sister again.👍“

The restaurant is a whimsical, eclectic blend that combines a traditional "family home style" celebratory vibe showcasing the owner's Italian grandmother's recipes. I am a salmon snob, and "Roz and Roccos" delivered: my salmon was cooked to perfection with that delicious crispy top layer that I love. Our waitress was MIA most of the meal after she dropped off our food. No refills on drinks when we needed it. Then it took twenty minutes to get our check. Everyone around us was also complaining. One waitress for ten tables? It is obvious they were paying more attention to the larger party in the side room. . They need to hire more waitstaff. It spoiled the outing.“

We've been stopping in this little hidden gem for more than 20 years, but hadn't visited in a long while. Tonight we made a special trip, and were greatly relieved to find not only are they still open, but the food is still top notch. We were seated right away by friendly staff. Server was attentive and obliging. Our food took quite a while, but it was obviously made to order and totally worth the wait. There's not much our family of four can agree on, but we all came away happy. Amazing pizza, beautiful calzone, delicious garlic knots. Serving sizes were more than we could eat, plenty of leftovers to bring home. In a fast-changing world, it's nice to find some things exactly the way you remember them.“

That was very nice. we received the check and the server boxed up our food for us. The check really was not expensive. I paid and gave a 25% tip.
