To me it's just like a Vietnamese baguette, which is the perfect bread for hoagies. Aside from the bread though the Italian hoagie was okay. It was pretty salty and heavy and I wish there were more veggies to balance it out. I tried some of my friend's eggplant parm sandwich though and the sauce tasted amazing. It was ok, not loaded with crab like the waiter said. My friend had a salad, no complaints, but the waiter had to be asked to refill our water and tea, and we had to wait to get his attention. It wasn't busy. I loved the tiramisu. The waiter packed up our separate "to go's" nicely. I would definitely go back, lots of interesting things on the menu.“

Many delights followed: abundant, freshly made fettucine alla Bolognese; creamy, al dente spaghetti caccio e pepe; a simple, voluptuous tiramisú. Not everything was perfect; such a good restaurant should offer a decent espresso. Still, the pleasures of a small family restaurant, aspiring albeit uneven, far outweigh its odd deficiencies. I was looking for good breakfast sandwich in area. Web search, their name came up multiple times. Got scrapple , egg, cheese & son got red pepper, egg and cheese. Heard coffee was good. The sandwiches were great & quickly made. The coffee was fantastic, among best I've ever had. There were two types, a dark roast and a medium roast called "420". I believe locally roasted.“

“As a cheesesteak enthusiast, I was anxious to try the "Jawn" advertised as a pound of prime ribeye on a freshly kneaded roll with caramelized onions and Cooper Sharp. The roll was fresh and warm, and yeasty, but more like pizza crust than the high end Italian rolls one finds at the best cheesesteak joints. Onions were perfect. Cheese was kind of skimpy. The beef was high quality and free of gristle..but a POUND? Maybe 8oz. MAX before cooking. I've eaten several pound steaks, and this ain't one. Fries were very high quality frozen, served piping hot in a cute mini fry-basket. Wife's wings were crispy and didn't get soggy in the plentiful hot sauce. Drinks are very reasonable and staff attentive and friendly. I guess the "Jawn" is a kind of novelty, and the price may reflect the beef grade as opposed to weight. Adorable atmosphere. I'll return, but try the Italian dishes where I suspect they excel.“

“I used to come here 30 some years ago when it was Sonoma. It has been several other restaurants through the years but this is the best by far. There are 2 bars. One on the first floor that has retractable windows to open up to the outside. Then there is my favorite bar upstairs. Light, airy, nicely painted walls with olive leaves and glass ceiling.There is a happy hour Monday to Friday, 4 to 6pm. All their signature crafted cocktails are $7 and they are delicious. Our bartender, Jeff, was welcoming and very knowledgeable about his craft. Love that they use a lot of local products. There are other drink options (see my menu photo below) and fun food items. We ordered 2 pizzas (shrimp and artichoke and the pepperoni). “We had a group in to dine on February 24th 2024. A Saturday. The man I spoke with on the phone to make the arrangements, Jay, was very helpful. We had 15 people including a few kids and took 2 entrees home and ordered like 5 appetizers. Service was phenomenal. John, one of our waiters, was very welcoming and helpful and thorough at providing exceptional service, making jokes and ensuring he answered any questions we had. The woman paired with him was excellent as well and I don't want to misspell her name. No one had anything but praise for their entrees. Full bellies and happy faces all around. We were very happy overall. We brought our own wine, plenty of delicious bread and butter was provided along with ice water. Even the 2 items ordered off the children's menu were large portions. I ate my entree 3 times altogether, the portion was so generous. Most things come with soup or salad too. I enjoyed the crab/shrimp bisque (only one person thought it was a touch salty) and the shrimp and salmon in vodka sauce. Very delicious! We've been here before and will definitely be back.
