Host staff forgot we checked in for our reservation so we sat there for 25 minutes and never apologized and acted like it was because we were listed as a four top regardless I checked in with the reservation as 3. Showed the reservation on my email as 3 and 2 tables of 4 still went before us but she could have just acknowledged it was a mess up but didn’t. The atmosphere, food and Brian made up for it.“
“Listen, I don't know about you guys, but I personally have never liked cheesesteaks. I've always had bad experiences when someone asked me to try a cheesesteak, so I always say that I don't like cheesesteaks. My friend ordered a cheesesteak from here the other day, and the people were amiable and greeted us as soon as we walked through the door. It looks like any regular pizza shop, but since it seems to be a fairly new shop, they're pretty empty, so it's a calm atmosphere to dine in since they have a good amount of tables. Anyway, I just ordered a slice, and my friend ordered the cheesesteak. She put a bunch of good stuff on it, and they brought it to us pretty fast. The pizza was delicious, and she told me to try her cheesesteak. I said no because, like I said, I don't like cheesesteaks. But she kept insisting, so I said okay and tried the cheesesteak. When I tell you my whole world flipped upside down, I mean it flipped upside down. The cheesesteak was the first cheesesteak I have ever liked, and I LOVED it. The bread was nice and soft, so you could tell it was fresh. There was a lot of meat, and it was seasoned very well. The other ingredients made it the chefs kiss, and the cheese was fully melted. There was no cold part to the sandwich, and it almost tasted like heaven. “Lucy’s has been a staple in the community for years. Every time I come back home I order either a salad or a sub. With this review it was a sub. I ordered in the phone which is super hard to do bc the line stays busy. Definitely should invest in multi line phone service lol. Love that they have the XL sub rolls. Only issue was that I ordered a plain chicken steak (no cheese) the person taking the order typed it in correctly however the kitchen staff decided to add cheese anyway. I didn't know this until after getting home so we had to make a trip back for the corrected sandwich because they said delivery would take over an hour. The corrected chicken steak was very good. We also ordered fries, a pizza steak, garlic knots, a hamburger, onion rings and meatballs. Everything was a 8/10 and we'll definitely return. I'll just check the food before leaving the restaurant.“

She must have been unaware of my reputation as a reviewer, but I prefer it that way; I like when the staff treat me like an ordinary person.My order included a large 3 Stars Special pizza under the "Gourmet Pizza" section of their menu. For its modest price, the 3 Stars Special pizza was beyond modest. With quality ingredients, thin-but-not-too-thin crust, and the perfect balance of cheese, sauce, bread and toppings, the 3 Stars Special easily became the highlight of my Friday night.
