“Fresh off a doubleheader sweep at the nearby sports complex, our baseball team was riding high—but after two games, we were also starving. Enter Turano’s Pizza & Grill, who came through in the clutch like a grand slam in extra innings!

We called in our order between games—30+ pizzas—for pick-up as soon as the last out was made. When we arrived just after 9 PM, every pie was hot, fresh, and ready to go. That’s Hall of Fame-level service!

The food was amazing, but the atmosphere? Next level. Between the friendly staff, the generous hospitality, and the live music drifting through the air, it felt like we had stepped right into the heart of Italy. We honestly wish we could’ve stayed and soaked it all in—but the bus was calling, and so were the leftovers.

Turano’s didn’t just feed a team—they blessed us. It was a beautiful reminder of what it looks like to serve others with joy (Galatians 5:13). From start to finish, they hit it out of the park.

We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town—win or lose (but hopefully win).“

“Food was good, ordered 2 large pizzas and 20 wings combo. Wings are the wing ding style (I don't mind them) and the pizza was good. The price was lower than most places, delivery was fast and the driver was very friendly. Will try new items next time.“

“The minute you walk in you know this pizzareia is different than others. Chris, the owners offers a warm funny welcome and you immediately feel like you are standing in your best friends kitchen. He told me he makes the “best pizza” and I took the challenge! I wasn’t even there to eat but meet someone in the parking lot. He offered for me to come in afterward and try a free slice. Instead I ordered two pies to take back to Delaware. While they were in the oven Chris was explaining all kind of things about the art of making pizza. Not to put it piping hot in the box or to leave the full pizza boxes on the top of the oven- tricks only someone who really knew their craft would care about. It was such a fun afternoon, and to think I only stopped in to grab a drink and get change. Oh, the pizza… the best! The crust is to die for- crispy and crunchy not doughy like a garlic knot. The sauce tasted authentic, not sweet like you find at our hometown Grottos. Delicious pizza- rivals NYC slices. A definite pizzeria for the connoisseurs out there and even those that just want damn good pizza! 🍕“

“Took the 25 minute drive for our first experience and now I'm hooked. I can see why they sell out of dough each day and keep a consistent customer base. Everyone was extremely polite and friendly. Even got to talk to the owner and one of the employees. Seem like great people. Now to the pizza! We got 3 and 2 of them made it home. That was probably the best margarita pizza I've ever had and I've had many. That pizza was damn good. Almost certain I ate it in about 10 minutes. I do suggest eating it onsite, right out of the oven but we got them home and they were still good. We will definitely be returning. I will gladly take that drive for that pizza. “Our server, Katiey was pleasant and took care of all of our needs. We had the rigatoni abruzzi and it was excellent along with the delicious bread. Even had enough to take home for next day. Highly recommend!“

“I used America's Pie as the cater for my in laws 50th wedding anniversary. This place deserves 10 ⭐️. Mechele was great to work with! George the owner packaged our order and packed it so neat and loaded my car. My only regret is not taking pictures of the presentation. Food was delicious; presentation was straight out of a magazine presentation. The price so was reasonable- I almost feel like I robbed them for how good the food was and the price I paid. Easiest process from ordering to pick up. The guest at our party raved about the food. The desserts were so scrumptious everyone went for seconds! “Streetlight Kitchen & Bar is a great restaurant to go to for dinner. Their smashburger is delicious and seasoned perfectly. Streetlight is a great place to eat with friends and family.The atmosphere is great and the servers are very polite. “We just got two large pizzas for our first visit (both were Detroit style - the Motown and the Greektown). For only two people eating, we have almost a whole large pizza of leftovers and let me tell you, I cannot wait to eat them tomorrow. The Motown is the best pepperoni pizza that we have ever had and we are major pizza fans in this family, so that says something! “Ordered for the first time this past Friday to try their new menu. My 14 y/o had the lil’ Rita and said it was “so good it’ll make a grown man cry.” My 9 y/o had the mini plain pizza. She’s not usually a fan of pizza but ate 2 slices, so I guess that means she liked it. My husband and I did olive and pepperoni. I love that they use kalamatta olives instead of black olives! The cheesy bread with the garlic butter was also delicious! We’ll definitely add them into our pizza rotation.“

“I have known Sam for awhile and would stop in mostly for the Roast Pork Sandwich Platter as well as Roast Beef and Cheesesteaks. I tried their pizza for the first time last Tuesday. I always order extra sauce and well-done. Wow! It was perfect . The sauce has just the perfect ratio of Italian spices with a robust tomato flavor. Thin crust with a great crunch. I have lived in this area for over 20 years now and will say that is the best pizza I have eaten in recent memory. Highly recommended“

“Our family had a great night out at Nick’s Pizza this past week. We started with the Ceasar salad which was crispy and delicious, the croutons were phenomenal. Next the buffalo wings, which were a big hit at our table. Finally the pepperoni and hot honey pizza. Amazing flavors. We added on the cheesesteak for good measure, so glad we did. “Love the vibe here, great local spot in a rustic 1700’s era building. Very good service from the staff. Phenomenal selection of beers on tap which was the main reason I found this place. It gets loud inside with the live music, though not overwhelming. I have to dink them on the menu though, not sure why they serve the pastrami sandwich chilled, just doesn’t seem right, and was a pretty low grade of pastrami. The fries were way oversalted. I’ll back, but will probably stick with drinks at the bar“

I’m a southern transplant to the area due to my job and I have left behind many (delicious) southern food staples. Trying to find replacements in the area has been hard, to say the least. But when in doubt, there is always pizza! I accidentally stumbled across Emilio’s while searching for a place in DelCo to find a realllllly good pizza without having to travel across the Delaware into NJ. Emilio’s fits the bill. It’s not too thin, it’s not too thick, the sauce amount is just right and it’s crunchy and just tastes plain good. The plus to the pizza is that, the customer service is always top notch, but that may also be because I have had the pleasure to interact with Emilio himself each time? What a swell guy, and for a southerner living (sort of up north) here, finding a warm inviting smile and personable service seems to be a rarity (no offense to the locals, of course!).
