We tried tandoori and achari wings, garlic sticks, chicken curry/tandoori and chocolate chip cookies. Everything was out of the world. Never had desi pizza, wings this tasty. pizza was rich and flavorful. The taste was outstanding, the ambiance was welcoming, and the service was exceptional. “My family of 5 attended our first Phillies game this weekend and stayed nearby. We were looking for a delicious breakfast and stumbled upon Colanzi's and we were so glad we did! The restaurant was super clean and our waiter and the owner were phenomenal, especially with our 3 boys. Our meals were unique, from scratch, and made with the freshest ingredients. Even our picky eater ate every single bite. For the coffee drinkers, their coffee was high quality, unlike a lot of breakfast cafes. This restaurant had a very family-oriented, "Cafe on the corner" feel to it. Not only did the owner make us feel right at-home, but he invited us back the next time we are in town and told our boys they could help him make their own custom pizza. On our way out, he shared a free sample of his new ice cream flavor by Bassett's with all 5 of us. if you're looking for amazing meal, coffee, ice cream, milkshake, acai bowl and a place that will meet all of your customer needs, look no further than Colanzi's Moira'Mensing Cafe. “We just got two large pizzas for our first visit (both were Detroit style - the Motown and the Greektown). For only two people eating, we have almost a whole large pizza of leftovers and let me tell you, I cannot wait to eat them tomorrow. The Motown is the best pepperoni pizza that we have ever had and we are major pizza fans in this family, so that says something! For my Greek fans, I highly recommend that Greektown pizza, so flavorful and don’t even get me started on the crust! 😁“

“Had a reservation for two. Upon arrival inside, there's no clear host station, so it's unclear who you're supposed to speak to to be seated. We stood right inside the door for about 5 minutes before we were greeted, despite there not being a line. Our server was very personable and knowledgeable about the menu items. The skin contact wine and wine spritzers were incredible. As for the food, the fluke crudo was fresh and delicious. Over the past few times we've visited Sally, we've noticed that the pizza crust has been a bit burnt. This time, we were disappointed that the pizza crust was completely burnt.“

We felt comfortable as our kids moved around the room, which was spacious and not cluttered. The food was delicious and fast. “I lived in South Philly for 27 years and spent my teen year summers from 12-19 in North Wildwood. I know a great pizza and cheesesteak from mediocre. Until I went to Femi’s, the best cheesesteaks I ever had were from Russo’s in North Wildwood. The closest I’ve ever come for cheesesteaks is Femi’s in Lester. Their steaks, especially their pizza steaks are fantastic. Every pizza and Stromboli I’ve ever ordered are great too! Can’t find anything better in South Philly.“

My only comment would be that when picking up (not eating in or getting delivery), I don’t like being expected to pay a tip. A tip is for service beyond the kitchen, while the bill should include everything else.“

“We love Slices and Rolls. While we don't keep strictly kosher we will choose kosher if it's available. Slices and Rolls make it an easy choice because it is not only kosher, it is DELICIOUS! There are some kosher places in the area that if one isn't strictly kosher, one knows that they *only* stay in business because people don't have an alternative. This is *not* true of Slices and Rolls. Their pizza is objectively good - certainly the best kosher option by miles and competitive with any standard pizza shop. It's not fancy but it's good.

I can't say the same for their sushi - specifically because I can't eat it. I have an allergy to corn and they use rice vinegar mixed with corn vinegar in the rice which even if you don't have a corn allergy gives you an idea about the commitment to authenticity. My husband who has eaten it is not so excited to eat it again. Because we aren't strictly kosher (but avoid eating where non-kosher animals are prepared if it's reasonably easy) he prefers to get sushi from the Philadelphia Fish and Lobster Company which is delicious and which I can eat because it uses fully rice vinegar.
