The veggie pizza is sooo good they are filling but a little small so get two if you want leftovers. I wouldn't get the fries again, we got plain and they tasted like a combination of all the flavors, crab cheese ect and we couldn't finish them.
ELITE pizza experience in Philadelphia! I'm a huge fan of Detroit style pizza and this does not disappoint. We ordered online and picked up from the location. The pizza held up very well after the drive home and each one should be able to serve 2-3 people. Ordered the Roc the Mic (tomato, pepperoni) and Break You Off (lamb sausage, za'tar). This place has been on my list for some time and I was fortunate to visit at a downtime. Amongst a city full of pizza shops, Down North stands out among the greats. ENVIRONMENT The restaurant is relatively easy to find and seats no more than 5 or so people in the shop. The wait was a tad excessive which I credited to the food being "made with love".
