“Named as one of the top dive bars in the country, Murph's is a bit less ragged and run down and a step up from some of the dives I've been in. It's clean, tastefully decorated, and spacious. You can immediately tell that this is a neighborhood bar, where the locals are all familiar with one another. There is ample space for pool, and the 360 degree wrap-around bar is a great touch. We only came in for beer, and I can report back that the draft beer is quite cold!“
“A very cozy place for a Saturday night date. Surprised on how busy it was as it seems pretty quiet during the day so we did not know what to expect. Live music was great and added to the atmosphere. We tried the potato and leek soup which was nicely balanced with tidbits of potato to give it texture rather than a pureed approach. The scotch egg was nicely hot and nice that it allowed the protein to speak for itself without overpowering it with salt or grease. I enjoyed my toad in the hole and the Yorkshire pudding was nicely baked. The gravy with the mashed potatoes was absolutely brilliant. We want to come visit again when we have another date night.“

The best night to be here is Thursday Karaoke it's always a good time and the DJ is a really Cool guy. “First time here recommended by a friend. It was raining so we couldn't sit outside but we're very comfortable inside. Cute place, historic. First tavern in Delaware.Our server Sara was sweet and attentive. I was hoping for traditional Irish food but it's mainly bar food. I was pleasantly surprised. Our drinks were great.We had Philly rolls, delicious. Onion rings, delicious. For entree I had fish and chips, incredible,! Hubby had the John D burger, fresh and tasty, did not need any condiments. The fries were especially delicious, skin on and seasoned perfectly. I will definitely be back with friends.I wish they had dessert.“
“The place really needs an upgrade, it's a little outdated, but the bartender there was pretty cool. Has a few pool tables, good places to sit. It's pretty mellow in there which is nice, it's a different atmosphere, but not in a bad way.“
“I drove by this place for years wondering what it could be like. Ive always had high hopes as it is very close to where I live. my feelings were that if the vibe was right, then it could be super convenient. My wife and daughter were away for the night so I stopped in. I was immediately disconcerted over the amount of older men who reaked of retired police. After a beer I realized that my stereotyping was on point. However, much to my surprise they were completely void of any pretention and remarkably friendly, hence this review. The bartender was attentive, and sociable. The regulars were comfortable, and non judgmental. Everything was clean and the prices were reasonable. Comfy seats and a smoking area out front. Plenty of parking too. This place rules.“
“Great location! Fast service! Coldest beer and best drinks! They also have game day drink specials and free 1/2 time spread (hot dogs, Philly pretzels, chili, nachos)! “The mushroom soup was absolutely delicious! Sandwiches were tasty, filling and served with a choice of side. Beverages were over priced in my opinion, but I'm not much for alcohol. We just happened upon the place while in the area and we're glad we did!“
“I was referred to this business by a family member, said to have some great food but instead I experienced nothing but anxiety from a drunken bartender. She accused me of already receiving my order when in fact she was intoxicated and simply had forgotten it. So I left with cold food and disappointment after a 30 min wait. Waste of time and money. My wife called and explained the situation and was denied a refund. As long as that dysfunctional lady is working there I'd advise anyone to choose another restaurant. Respectfully ??“
“The BarXlll Delaware is a great place to go and The Bar got alot of events and got a food Truck out front of the bar and they sell food right there and I recommend going to check it out and the people are friendly and I'M be going Back again and again and I hope see you there at the bar.“
