The first order was cooked perfectly, second needed a tad bit more time, but they were still good. Butter cake is out of this world good. Another patron told me to try, and he steered me to heaven.“

“We had an excellent dining experience at The Pour House! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. We started with the oysters and nachos—both were incredibly fresh and flavorful. For our main course, we tried several sandwiches and burgers, all recommended by our amazing server, Marissa. Marissa was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. She made great suggestions and made sure our group was well taken care of throughout the meal. The service and food were equally impressive, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area and are in the mood for oysters.“

“The Glenside Pub is exactly what a neighborhood pub should be. Great food, the best Guinness around, and a classic old-school atmosphere right in the heart of Glenside. Jennie is one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had—funny, quirky, and your glass is never empty. She’s always ready with a perfectly timed “that’s what she said” joke. Ryan runs a great place and is also very generous to the local community. Definitely worth stopping in.“

“This is my favorite place to jam at; mostly because of the atmosphere and service.. they don't serve food, unless there's a special event or music fest or something, so i left that at no stars because it doesn't apply.. their open mic is on Tuesdays and i have never played a venue that has given me as warm a welcome or that's treated me as well as McDuff's has.. free live music for all, no cover charge! And they aren't cheap on their mixed drinks.. the way i like 'em.“

“It's a friendly neighbo4hood bar that has a few gaming machines for us degenerate gamblers. Located nearby Frankford hospital in case you hit a big jackpot and go into cardiac arrest. It is a friendly group of people that appear to frequent this Tavern so go ahead on down and enjoy yourself.“

“I stopped in here during Happy Hour one Friday afternoon and had a very enjoyable time. I met some friendly people and engaged in some good conversations with the regular customers. Mostly concerning sports and alcohol beverages. All three bartenders were excellent servers and quickly replenished our drinks. Can't wait until they start serving food as they just reopened under new management. It's a small place with just a straight bar but it was a friendly atmosphere.“

My partner and I have never once felt unwelcome or displeased with the service and quality here, and I want to specifically call out some of the wonderful friendly bartenders we’ve encountered here who always keep our spirits up and serve with warmth and competence - Marty, Shawna, Chloe, and Gianna - I remember your names because I genuinely enjoy coming when one of you are on shift. Justin the bouncer is a polite and friendly face despite his position and we love seeing him as well. “I very rarely leave anything other than 5 star reviews. I'm leaving this one because I hope to see the place succeed and refine a bit as everywhere has room to do. These are just my opinions.

Pros: Roast pork was 🔥, bartender was very nice and engaging, music was on point (Elliot Smith and Nick Drake 👌), the bar has a classic look, and the prices are very reasonable.

Cons: Good amount of flies, bar top could've used a wipe down, a server should probably have sleeves, fries were poor, and there is almost no personal touch to the decor. It looks well painted and the fixtures are nice but it feels very generic and I prefer a little more personality in a bar/restaurant, especially one I'd like to go to regularly.“

“My family and I ate at Victor Club before the Train concert. The food was great, especially the nachos and chicken Cesar salad. The salad was enormous. Service was friendly and prices reasonable. Since our bill was over $75, parking was free for the concert. We have found our go to restaurant for all our waterfront concerts!“

“Daly’s has 3 Diamond 7’ pool tables in the bar area, which is a huge plus. My team played in an APA tournament there last weekend and the tables play great. The service was excellent. The prices are right. The food is bar food. I’d go back and hang out in a Friday night for pool and beer. Also, pretty solid beer selection.“

“We had cheesesteaks, tater tots and broccoli bites before the Superunknown concert. The cheesesteaks were very good but the broccoli bites were very mushy and the tater tots were overcooked. Superunknown put on an excellent show, so all in all a good night at the Broken Goblet.“
