“The Glenside Pub is exactly what a neighborhood pub should be. Great food, the best Guinness around, and a classic old-school atmosphere right in the heart of Glenside. Jennie is one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had—funny, quirky, and your glass is never empty. She’s always ready with a perfectly timed “that’s what she said” joke. Ryan runs a great place and is also very generous to the local community. Definitely worth stopping in.“

“We had a show at 8PM, and a reservation for 7PM. We were clear that we needed to be quick and our server was fantastic. We were greeted within 5 minutes, served in maybe 15, and our server had us out of there with time to spare to get to our show right across the street. And all while being attentive, and polite with a full section. Our server was fantastic, our food was fantastic, and we had a great time!!! We highly recommend Rooster's for a bite to eat.“

Food was great, ambience was chill and lively at the same time, but the service is what really stood out! I sat at the bar, and my bartenders were Monae and Aliyah (spell check), they were so friendly, knowledgeable and attentive! “Only reason I'm giving 4 stars for service is because they were packed on wing night and only had 1 server and 1 bartender and there was some kind of neighborhood meeting about parking or something going on, and there was also a fantasy draft upstairs. Our server and Bartender were running like crazy, so getting a side of mayo was a little tough.

But... the food 😋. To start, we got the Honey Caribbean Wings AND the Loaded Cheese Fries. (We were starving when we arrived!)They were nice sized wings, and were cooked to perfection. (I like my wings a little bit crispy) they were tossed in the sauce which was finger lickin good. The fries were LOADED. Like, smothered in toppings. We loved them and put a nice dent in them!

I got the Tap House Bacon Burger. Now, I am a burger girl and let me tell you, this baby did not disappoint(it never does) Two patties, layered with New Yorker cheese, the bacon was perf, just enough lettuce & tomato and I gotta have my mayo and ketchup! It was slammin! I saved half for lunch because I over indulged on the apps(which we also saved the 2nd half for lunch, lol! )

My partner chose the French Onion(cheesesteak). The roll was soft and stuffed with meat, provolone cheese and fried onions. Alone.. it was great, but they give you a small cup of French onion soup to dip in(or to pour on) and that was chef's kiss! A really friggen good steak! She also only finished half!

We both enjoyed a few draft beers with our meal and our check was about 80 bucks.

“Really like this place. Have been coming for a few months now. They make a good drink and the food is great. Love the chicken quesidillas! The staff is friendly and attentive. The size of the bar is really big, with lots of room for the tables, too.“

“This was my second visit to Ripplewood Whiskey & Craft, and my first time experiencing their happy hour—and it did not disappoint. The menu had a great variety, and I enjoyed both the drinks and the pork bao buns.

A standout “happy accident” was ordering the pretzel rolls with truffle butter… absolutely amazing. That alone is worth coming back for.

The bartenders were attentive and provided great service throughout our visit. We also tried the deviled eggs, which were just okay for me—the mustard base was a bit too strong for my taste.

Overall, Ripplewood is a lovely spot with a relaxed vibe and nice outdoor seating in the back. It’s a great place for drinks, small bites, and a chill evening out.“

“This is my favorite place to jam at; mostly because of the atmosphere and service.. they don't serve food, unless there's a special event or music fest or something, so i left that at no stars because it doesn't apply.. their open mic is on Tuesdays and i have never played a venue that has given me as warm a welcome or that's treated me as well as McDuff's has.. free live music for all, no cover charge! And they aren't cheap on their mixed drinks.. the way i like 'em.“

“Didn't know if they had a kitchen or not they were open on Sunday and usually being open on Sunday you have to have food, I'm not sure if that's the case anymore. Bartender was friendly the bar itself was well lit seat for somewhat comfortable. Clean clean bar clean floor clean bathrooms well bathroom the men's room was clean. On the smaller side but comfortable. Will definitely try the food next time if they have a kitchen that's open. More to come definitely a place worth visiting again“

“It’s less fancy than you might think, but honestly, the prices here are unreal for what you get. We came on a weekday and it was pretty chill. Good drinks and a really relaxed atmosphere, totally worth checking out for a casual hang.“

“I stopped in here during Happy Hour one Friday afternoon and had a very enjoyable time. I met some friendly people and engaged in some good conversations with the regular customers. Mostly concerning sports and alcohol beverages. All three bartenders were excellent servers and quickly replenished our drinks. Can't wait until they start serving food as they just reopened under new management. It's a small place with just a straight bar but it was a friendly atmosphere.“

Tables that were seated after us were finished their dinner before ours even came. Very frustrating and not normal for the springhouse tavern. Also it was extremely noisy; so loud that we had trouble hearing our server and also had trouble hearing each other at our table. Not a good night for us.“

“My husband and I have been coming here alot lately. Winter season can be pretty dull and we don't like being stuck at home all the time. So this has been our go to place to get a few drinks. Stella, Yuengling, Guiness they got it. They have others but these are our favorites. Go check them out.
We try to go during the weekdays or weeknights. If you likes crowds, Game Day is perfect for that.“

“Daly’s has 3 Diamond 7’ pool tables in the bar area, which is a huge plus. My team played in an APA tournament there last weekend and the tables play great. The service was excellent. The prices are right. The food is bar food. I’d go back and hang out in a Friday night for pool and beer. Also, pretty solid beer selection.“

“I had dinner with my wife on Friday night. We live 2 blocks away. Normally we stop in to a have few drinks and get some apps, which are always good. Last night I tried some of the dinner choices. I couldn’t decide so I got the Seafood Gumbo which was outstanding. Then I got the Southern Fried CatFish with the mustard sauce, which was amazing. They were both big portions, (I didn’t finish either, although I tried, haha). My wife had buffalo cauliflower and dry Cajun wings which were both really good. The food is a hidden gem that we have in Palmyra, the prices are good and the service is always great. We had the young guy with hat and he was awesome. The bartenders even jump out to make sure the tables are ok. The acoustic guy playing was just right also. I know the owners have worked hard to keep 5 West going the last few years. “First time visiting the Steam Pub! I started out a little disappointed because they were out of my first two choices. I decided to get the blue cheese burger and fries. It was phenomenal! The burger was huge and juicy. The blue cheese was delicious and the fries were battered and a huge portion! Our server was attentive and took great care of us. I will definitely be back - next time I'm trying the French Dip!“

“I love going here. I am not a bar person but I come in to see my friends on Sunday. I remembered my friends told me to come and watch the game. The owner was making food on the grill. It was nice. I enjoyed it. I come back every week. I never write a review. I should have done this back in September. I know I am late with this. Love this bar.“

“The Bridesburg Pub for years is a fun place to go. There is always people that you know in there. This particular late day into night visit was awesome with our bartender, Tony, who we were all meeting for the first time. He was very friendly, attentive to our drinks, just a great guy!. My girlfriend and I were on a Chambord kick and I was impressed that they had that liqueur and Tony was no stranger in making my Chambord Sours and Debbie’s French Martini’s.

Parking: We found spots right by the Bridesburg Pub. It was Labor Day Weekend also.“

This is the local bar I would travel to go to. Great drink specials and bar food including fried pickles.

Under Jess and Destiny’s care, this place goes ALL OUT on decoration. If they had lights outside this would be the PECO free-electricity-for-the-season winner. For Halloween, this place was haunted. Other occasions are spectacular.“
