If you want to just go and hangout with friends but not looking for any place special Graham's Pub is good. They have more beers and seltzer drinks then cocktails. You can get a simple drink like vodka soda, rum and coke, and Jim Beam but no fancy drinks. The food is pub style fries, wings and burger but its good fast and hot. So stop in have a conversation with the regulars, and play a round of corn whole outside.
Unexpectedly nice local bar. Met with a few friends at this place for a few evening drinks and ended up staying for appetizers as well. The bar was tastefully decorated for the holidays. The bartender was absolutely on top of everything. The bar was busy, but she managed to keep everyone happy. The food was also pretty decent (we had tater tots with cheese and bacon). The only downside I could think of is that this place is cash only.

Easy stop on my way home after everything else is closed for carry out beer. A little more expensive than the norm but still reasonable. Whomever left that other review was off by a mile as it was only 14 bucks for a sixer of Heineken, but at 12am that's totally fine. If it wasn't cash only I'd give another star to not pay the atmosphere surcharge.
