She shouted out my birthday and even gave me a piece of cake..the atmosphere was so laid back, I kept telling her that my friend and I were only friends but her face said something different, but that's another story..lol

Food was great, ambience was chill and lively at the same time, but the service is what really stood out! I sat at the bar, and my bartenders were Monae and Aliyah (spell check), they were so friendly, knowledgeable and attentive! That's not always easy to come by in bar/restaurants these days, but those ladies nailed it! Thank you for a wonderful time!“

“I just joined Five Iron Fishtown and I love it. The location is great and I love the vibes of the inside. The hours are perfect as I generally go to use the simulators before work in the morning and work on my swing or play a round. I’ve also had a few lessons with Senior Golf Pro Matt Davis and I can already tell my swing has gotten better. With the technology they have and following Matt’s direction I feel like I’ll be performing a lot better once I get on an actual course. Highly recommend.“

“When there are no events, a great place to decompress. Staff are friendly and take care of you. The burgers are banging, the beers are icy breezy and the frozen bacardis are a vacation at home. Stellar staff as always.“

“Absolutely fantastic experience! The espresso martinis were some of the best I've had—perfectly balanced, smooth, and dangerously easy to drink.

I also ordered the Parmesan chicken wings with a side of hot sauce, and they were outstanding. The wings were incredibly juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside, and the Parmesan seasoning was packed with flavor. Dipping them in the hot sauce took them to another level. I'm a huge wing fan, and these are definitely some of the better wings I've had.

If you’re new to the Manayunk/Roxborough area, have lived here your whole life, or are just passing through the city you will not regret stepping foot in to CJ & Eck’s. Try one of the amazing food specials the chef prepares, ask for a Tootsie Bomb, and enjoy an ice cold draft beer! The staff is always welcoming, and the regulars will make it feel like home!“

From the moment I was seated, Rian was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Don't do bars much anymore but it was raining out from my exercise walk and I went in for a refreshment cocktail the two Latina women there very professional and very friendly if I had a bar I would hire them. Nice little bar again soon when I'm off tour. 😁 I didn't try the food but I can say I love this bar.🥳😆🙏“

“Very friendly staff with quick and attentive service. Relaxing atmosphere with live music out on the patio area. I wanted to try something new (for me) in the area and was pleasantly surprised. I decided to go out of my comfort zone and try something new to eat as well as I've never really had a taste for seafood. I ended up ordering the crispy calamari, the king crab, and some wings just in case I didn't like it. WOW! the calamari was very good and my mind was blown with the King crab. Their buttery sauce was a perfect pair with the crab. It was a great experience. 100% will return very soon for more!“

“I have been coming to Freddy & Tony's since i was born! As soon as you walk in they make you feel like your family. If you do not speak Spanish or know how to read Spanish that is not a problem here their menu is biligual, and so are the staff. This place is were I go to get a home style meal from the islands. My favorite is their sweet plantain, stewed chicken, arroz con gandules, and salad(***put oil and vinegar on it not salad dressing it cuts the fat from the food you're eating to refresh you pallet). They have tons of options to choose from too, just know that if you going here on a Saturday or Sunday be ready for a crowd because this is THE best place to go for Puerto Rican food in Philly!“

“We had our wedding here on 9/28/19 and it was AMAZING. The price was reasonable, the setting was intimate & cozy and the staff was lovely. My family can’t stop talking about how lovely it was! The outdoor seating area was perfect for smokers and non-smokers alike. The grounds were beautiful for pictures. Last but not least, the food was delish (especially the salmon) and the options at the bar ROCKED. It was, all in all, incredible!“

And this may be a best-kept secret but the roast pork sandwich with long hots will CRUSH 90% of those in South Philadelphia. Doesn't need the cup of "jus" they include, but you can down it like a shot. Pro tip: Try subbing Cooper Sharp for Provolone.“

“I hadn't been to Applebee's in quite some time. This was the Southampton location. Had the Loaded Wave Potatoes (loaded is a bit of a stretch, could really use more cheese and bacon but still) they were delicious! Crisp on the outside tender inside. Also had the Grilled Cheese Cheese Burger. Very good. Cooked perfectly to my order of medium, hot & juicy. Servers and hostess were so very nice, smiling, welcoming. This Applebee's location really stepped up their game.“

“My impression is that the place is a throw -back to crowded Brazilian bars/ clubs in Rio the 2000’s. It’s fun, good vibes and energy. The bottom floor has a band and a DJ, a big screen for World Cup games and a well attended bar. The middle floor is more family oriented, at least during the World Cup games. The rooftop stills not open.
People were very friendly but yet respectful; the typical happy and relaxed Brazilian vibe, songs and good times. What I could not really stomach was the security guards in the first floor and in the entrance carrying a big riffle 😳. Certainly not typical for America or Philly and I don’t remember being part of the scene in Brazil .“
