Oysters were good, prices are amazing for happy hour, food is a bit basic but I enjoyed!!!! Service was phenomenal.
Absolutely fantastic experience! The espresso martinis were some of the best I've had—perfectly balanced, smooth, and dangerously easy to drink.
I also ordered the Parmesan chicken wings with a side of hot sauce, and they were outstanding. Overall, the food was very good, but this place would be 10+ with some minor changes. My pork sandwich Had the potential to be one of the best I have had in a long time. It’s actually very clean and not greasy. The role was a little overwhelming, and the proportion of food to roll was not great. It was very little cheese on it, it was a small portion of broccoli, Rob and the long hots were nonexistent basically. The Rook Manayunk is a neighborhood gem offering a lively atmosphere, attentive service, and a solid menu. From the perfectly chilled draft beers to the delectable Rook burger with sweet potato fries, this establishment caters to a mixed crowd of families, singles, and couples. The staff is great and you can tell they enjoy being at work. The food is good and the atmosphere is cozy, but enough space that it didn’t feel claustrophobic. It’s a perfect neighborhood watering hole with good food that you can catch a game at or enjoy conversation. The basic cheesesteak was excellent and the wings were tasty. While the menu is very small, the overall dining experience is well worth the visit.
