“So, my dad/hero (RIP) and I used to predominantly haunt Becco’s … and Maloney&Porcelli’s + Cité in Hell’s Kitchen. (RIP the last two restaurants ? as well.) Spoto’s in 33418 and Barrio Star in San Diego … this seems like the oddest review. But my point is that I haven’t felt compelled to write anything until I had two whiskey sours and a cheesesteak at the Square Bar, today. In fact, I haven’t gone to many restaurants/bars at all since my dad passed in 2020. To come into such an awesome environment with banging food and encounter two awesome employees; (didn’t catch the name of the killer cheesteak maker-queen) and Gretchen. The drinks—environment—food—and two ladies working there, helped me to feel comfortable, like I wanted to stay, and forget any sads for the time being. Highly recommend x’s a millionIf my dad was still around … (again, miss you Dad), and we randomly took root in the g reater philly area? Square Bar would be a staple. Hands down. Keep up the good fight Square Bar! Don’t change a thing“
“If you follow my rating system, I rate the food, service, cleanliness, and overall experience. Food: 8 Service: 9.5 Cleanliness: 8 O/E: 9.5 Average: 8.75, so with that rating, I would highly recommend this restaurant. The food was served promptly and warmly. The server did an excellent job. I had the salad and chicken wings as my meal. My wife had the shrimp salad, and we shared our meals. The other couple also enjoyed dinner, doing pretty much the same thing. We had a charming young lady - who made sure that this Hershey's Mill age group had a wonderful experience at 8:30 PM on a Saturday. Bottom line - try this place; you won't be disappointed.“
“What a cool place to eat and drink overlooking hockey! The food was great, and there were plenty of drinks on tap. Our waitress was wonderful and very accommodating. The only reason it is 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the rude young hostess. She shouldn't be working in customer service, especially on tournament weekends. We were a party of 6 adults and 1 child. There was plenty of open seating overlooking the rink. She told us we weren't allowed to sit there at first ,even after offering to split into two smaller parties. She pitched an attitude and was just flat out rude to us. We ended up waiting 45+ mins, while others went and sat there. It was very disappointing ,while having a young hockey player who was very hungry after his game. If you can't be nice to customers, then go work in the kitchen where you do not have to deal with them!! There was no reason for the rudeness and attitude. After waiting, a very well-mannered girl came to ask if sitting at the section we had originally asked for would be ok. We were confused by this, after the other hostess said no, but were appreciative that she had sense to seat us there so we could finally eat.“
“Two Stones pub is a great place. The food is amazing and the service is superb. We stopped in for a quick bit, a party of five. We were seated and chatting amongst our selves for a little while and our server approach our table and proactively apologized for the wait and offered to comp an item on our bill for the inconvenience of the wait. We hadn’t complained at all, this is just example of Two Stones caring to provide an outstanding customer experience and being self aware of the service they provide. All of our food was amazing and the service was top tier. They earned a loyal customer in me for their above and beyond service.“
“I am in from out of town with my daughter (almost 2 yrs old) . The atmosphere was so welcoming and so relaxed and clean. We had autumn as a server tonight and I am very glad we did. She was very attentive and friendly . The food tasted amazing and the serving sizes were plentiful. I definitely recommend the espresso martini and the loaded she crab waffle fries. Can’t wait to come visit my sister in pa again. Will definitely be back, especially to this location.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and plenty dinner options for children“
“It is always a delightful experience to visit this establishment, as they offer an impressive selection of delectable food and beverages. Although there was a slight error in the preparation of my drink during my last visit, I do not hold this against them. My fondness for this establishment remains unwavering, and I eagerly anticipate my next visit. Furthermore, they consistently stock my preferred beer, Innis & Gunn, which adds to the overall enjoyment of my visits.“
“Just stopped to sample the beer. Got ten 5oz samples with my fiancee. Enjoyed them all with several real winners. Went home with 4-pack of Voice of Reason IPA. Excellent service at the bar. Will head back soon to try the food. Great first experience.“
“In Philadelphia for a 2 day conference. Stayed at a Marriott with no place to eat or relax. Found this place right across the street. Great wait staff that were really friendly. Had the crab cake sandwich with fries....just plain awesome. Paired that with the Alaghash white beer, very very good. Would come back again for sure.“
“The mushroom soup was absolutely delicious! Sandwiches were tasty, filling and served with a choice of side. Beverages were over priced in my opinion, but I'm not much for alcohol. We just happened upon the place while in the area and we're glad we did!“
“Already familiar with the Springfield location and happened to be in the West Chester area and figured we'd stop in.Dining room was empty for a Thursday afternoon but that's fine with us .Ordered 2 combos with gravy fries. As usual, it was excellent. Our waitress was prompt and professional.Always a good experience at Nick's.“
