“Don't let the appearance fool you, yes it's truck stop diner with some really great food. Run by some locals, the EMS cafe had to switch locations and I think it's for the better!! It's located at the end of a stretch of highway where all major roads converge. That atmosphere is cozy; the staff are polite and professional. Is a great local eatery, placed in a awkward random location that has proved its merits!”

“Food was very good, service was quick and friendly. The place looks nice inside and out. It’s nice having the salad bar back. Wife said it was the best cream of crab soup in the area.”
“We are blessed in the Penns Grove New Jersey area to have this bakery available to us. If you need fresh baked bread you have to come here! Not only is the service brilliant but there are tons of options to choose from including their own specialties.”
“This place was great ? the people super nice. This go's for the owners. Your employees are wonderful and really great people ❤️ so please keep the great job and respect for this employees ?”
“This is the dunkin I go to most often. My drinks always come out correct (unlike a lot of dunkins I've been to) service is fast and employees are always friendly.”
“10/10! I was in Delaware and this place popped up on my google search. I did takeout but the eatery has places to sit and dine in. I ordered the empanada and chopped cheese. Good portions and worth the prices. The best vegan food I’ve ordered out thus far! I’ll definitely be back….”
“TY for accommodating our party of 18 on a Saturday… Your fried calamari was so yummy, the flight of soup was a brilliant idea for someone who’s undecisive to be able to sample 3 different cups, my crab cake was so amazing - I’m drooling just thinking about the jumbo lumps of crab chunks!!! By the way hubby & I noticed the American Psycho decors right away as we’re huge fans of the book & movie. Last but def not least, the service was great even though there were 18 of us with some loud kiddos.”
“Delicious food in a sweet yet quirky setting. Fantastic staff & just a wonderful dining experience. Specifically, the nachos & the spicy margarita were better than most places around. Can’t wait to go back!”
“This is a great little strip mall restaurant that serves excellent Thai food.Good:Food: we had satay, pineapple curry chicken and shrimp pad Thai. All were flavorful and as good as we have had in both Bangkok and Ching Mai.Service: the young man who was our server was friendly, responsive and gave good recommendations. He maintained his good demeanor even though he was the only person out front - doing pickup order as well as managing the dining room.Bad:Ambience: the place is kind of dumpy. A coat of paint and better wall hangings would really helpLocation: hard to find. No sign. It is in-between a liquor store and a soon to open sushi place. Very close to the Sav-a-lot. They really should get a proper sign.Overall, 5-stars b/c they excel at what matters (food and service)”
“Just made our first visit to Scalessa's. Been wanting to try it for a while and it didn't disappoint! Such a great little spot! The food was amazing, portions were large, prices were reasonable, and they even had vegetarian options (like eggplant "meatballs"). The service was also absolutely terrific. The entire staff was attentive and accommodating. They clearly take pride in their restaurant and care about the customer experience, which is definitely nowhere near a given in my experience dining out around here. We will definitely be back!Vegetarian options: Try the eggplant "meatballs"!”
“I've been there twice. The coffee, food and prices were good. The first time the customer service was great, the second time it was alright (it was a different person). The music they play was a bit loud for my taste.”
“I wasn't going to post a review, but today I had another bad experience. About a month ago I waited over 25mins for 3 waterices & a funnel cake. I noticed on my receipt I was charged for an extra waterice. The cashier fixed it & apologized, but when I got the funnel cake it was hard as a rock so I returned it to the window. The teenager at the window told me he couldn't refund me & that he had to wait for his boss to get back. I was on my lunch break so I didn't have time to wait for another. So I sternly & kindly told him "that's not how business works sweetheart. This is no fault of my own. I need my money back please." He hesitantly gave it back. When I went today, there was a customer waiting for her order. Once she got it, the worker walked away while myself & another person waited in line. I waited for 2-3mins and left. I love that there's teenagers working there. Keeping the kids busy during the summer. However, the customer service just isn't good. They're kind but they don't seem to know what they're doing. Otherwise the waterice is delicious! Variety of flavors to choose from. Despite my experiences, I do recommend Dinos!”
“La Fia always delivers. The menu is season and each dish is always an amazing combination of flavors and texture. Get any of their pasta dishes, for years they are packed with such inventive flavors and the pasta is expertly cooked al dente. The duck confit has been on the menu for years and we never tire of it. Same for the octopus. La Fia has been our favorite restaurant for years.”
“Three Amigos is such a wonderful addition to Wilmington! Delivery or dine-in! Food is excellent, authentic and fresh! Staff is VERY friendly! Treat yourself and enjoy.”
“One of my favorite cafes! Great ambiance, great service, great coffee and food! Love of all of collars supporting local small businesses as well! A sense of community you don’t see much anymore!”
“Warm and friendly environment. All the food is freshly prepared, home cooking with a flair. The baked goods are plentiful and delicious. I drive 2 hours to go to this hidden gem. Caleb brews the best latte, coffee and hot beverages so save room for a speciality drink and some dessert. Not feeling well? Talk to Kim, the owner and she can put together some teas to fix what ails you. They also cater and sell cookie trays. Their prices are incredibly low considering the fresh ingredients.”
“was super delicious but jesus christ is it expensive for what you get ? and their meal doesn't include a drink so you have to pay more for one.Edit: After coming back a 2nd time this place is just amazing. It's my fault for being broke, they deserve every dollar for the food they make!”
“I highly recommend this restaurant, the place is very peaceful, cozy and clean.I saw the people came to take out but for take a breakfast with friends is well too.The staff very attending .I recommend order a quiche the best I ate.”
“I have only heard great things about this place. Finally made the stop and wow… talk about good vibes! I promise the line is worth it. The shaken espresso with classic syrup was perfect. Tough deciding on what to eat, landed on the cheese, bacon and green onion scone. So. Good. Found a seat next to a bowl of motivational messages written on stones. This place is more than stopping for a coffee, it’s an experience.”
“Sabatina’s in Delaware City offers an exceptional sandwich experience. From the moment you step in, you are treated like family. The highlight is their signature sandwiches, a perfect harmony of flavors and textures. Each bite is a revelation, with quality ingredients meticulously layered to create a culinary masterpiece. Whether you opt for their classic options or explore their creative combinations, Sabatina’s sandwiches never fail to impress. The friendly atmosphere and attentive service complement the delightful culinary journey. Sabatina’s unquestionably earns its reputation as the go-to destination for sandwich enthusiasts in Delaware and the tri-state area.”
“I got the Big Deal burger and it was absolutely amazing. The combination of fresh ingredients, sauces and the texture of the patty was out of this world. You can tell that Delectablez puts a lot of heart into their food, and they’re doing it differently than most plant based establishments. I was sorry to have finished my food so quickly, I could have gone for seconds. I will definitely be coming back and telling others about this place!!!”
“Oh my gosh, the best Hometown Chinese cooking in town? You gotta believe these guys cook very well with only the freshest of Ingredients from all places international with the fastest fish to believe they have an Amazing menu Top 5 in Delaware, Einstein and one of the most cleanest!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Exclamation, previous restaurants on a corner. I've seen in a long time!!!!!”
“Delicious and beautiful food, charmingly presented with attention to detail. Fresh, but not trendy versions of classic afternoon tea fare, for example an open-faced Caprese sandwich with a thin layer of a lively red pepper jam. The food was delicate in appearance but added up to a hearty meal. Totally delightful, and I have often been disappointed with afternoon teas. I love them when they are done right, and this one was perfect. Can’t wait to go again!”
“Super cute and chic coffee shop! The coffee is great quality and they have many options. They also serve pastries, food items and different types of art. The owners were onsite, super hospitable, and attentive. The decor made you feel at home and they proudly display artwork from various artists on the walls. It’s really nice inside. I connected to the WiFi and got some work done as I enjoyed my latte and sandwich. The space is small but there isn’t a shortage of seating and there is still enough personal space to feel comfortable. I will definitely return.”
“The co-owner and staff were superb. It was a Birthday Celebration, and they went over and beyond to assure that it was a great time. The food is outstanding. Highly recommend.”
“food is always fresh and tasty! the space isn’t well climate controlled so be prepared for that. it can be often crowded and there are about 20-25 seats. The staff do make bowls differently but the amount is typically always the sameDietary restrictions: I am celiac and I haven’t had any issues, I always double check and stress it is an allergy not preference.Parking: I recommend walking if possible or a garage parking option”
“This is by far one of the best plant based restaurants in the area! The staff is always friendly. The service is top notch. I've had everything on the menu and can't pick a favorite because I love them all. The food is so fresh & delicious! I would recommend Green Box to anyone that enjoys delicious food.”
“I'm an otr truck driver, I've been out for 3 weeks, and was looking for a place to relax and watch the games. I walked across the street from the truck stop and Ms. Ann made me felt welcome. I love this place real home like. Ask Ms. Ann to make you a long Island Ice tea. Whew!!!”
