“10/10! I was in Delaware and this place popped up on my google search. I did takeout but the eatery has places to sit and dine in. I ordered the empanada and chopped cheese. Good portions and worth the prices. The best vegan food I’ve ordered out thus far! I’ll definitely be back….”
“TY for accommodating our party of 18 on a Saturday… Your fried calamari was so yummy, the flight of soup was a brilliant idea for someone who’s undecisive to be able to sample 3 different cups, my crab cake was so amazing - I’m drooling just thinking about the jumbo lumps of crab chunks!!! By the way hubby & I noticed the American Psycho decors right away as we’re huge fans of the book & movie. Last but def not least, the service was great even though there were 18 of us with some loud kiddos.”
“Instantly you could feel the welcoming atmosphere. The entire staff including Scott, the owner, made us feel like we were regulars. Great homemade food with big hunger portions. When ordering my wife asked for no cheese, the staff came out to ensure that she did not have any other allergies. Cannot wait to go back and try something new. This is a must stop location.”
“This is a great little strip mall restaurant that serves excellent Thai food.Good:Food: we had satay, pineapple curry chicken and shrimp pad Thai. All were flavorful and as good as we have had in both Bangkok and Ching Mai.Service: the young man who was our server was friendly, responsive and gave good recommendations. He maintained his good demeanor even though he was the only person out front - doing pickup order as well as managing the dining room.Bad:Ambience: the place is kind of dumpy. A coat of paint and better wall hangings would really helpLocation: hard to find. No sign. It is in-between a liquor store and a soon to open sushi place. Very close to the Sav-a-lot. They really should get a proper sign.Overall, 5-stars b/c they excel at what matters (food and service)”
“My brother and sister-in-law brought over wings from this place before. They were so good that I had to text my brother a few days later because I wanted more. I placed my order, and it was ready within 20 minutes and the man (I think he was the owner) was very personable and nice! Very good food.”
“Me and my roomies finally went here to try it out cause we were tired of wawa and wow were we glad we made that change, this place deserves business as they go very slow and put lots of love into the food and that makes the wait worth it! The food is incredible and the things they sell are so fun! The vibe in here is so fun! They also have a banana pudding that is absolutely elite in price and flavorUpdate : I ordered cheese fries but they didn’t put cheese on it?”
“La Fia always delivers. The menu is season and each dish is always an amazing combination of flavors and texture. Get any of their pasta dishes, for years they are packed with such inventive flavors and the pasta is expertly cooked al dente. The duck confit has been on the menu for years and we never tire of it. Same for the octopus. La Fia has been our favorite restaurant for years.”
“I've been there twice. The coffee, food and prices were good. The first time the customer service was great, the second time it was alright (it was a different person). The music they play was a bit loud for my taste.”
“Surprisingly busy restaurant considering nothing around the area. Food is super flavorful. Waiter Matt is extremely focused on you. Menu is diverse and offers something for everyone. Busy and loud inside. Makes the experience worth the reservation recommended.Parking: Together with some light industry buildings.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp”
“One of my favorite cafes! Great ambiance, great service, great coffee and food! Love of all of collars supporting local small businesses as well! A sense of community you don’t see much anymore!”
“Oh my goodness… Chef Reeky is a magician!! We’re SO lucky we found this restaurant after taking a tour at Swarthmore College (just a 5 min drive away). Everything we ordered was amazing, and we spent most of the meal feeling like there was no way our food was entirely plant-based… but it was! Order the nachos to share, and I recommend anything that has the marinara sauce on it… it’s 4 hours later and I’m still thinking about that sauce…. The “chicken” parm sandwich with spinach was unreal! Service was excellent, too… what a treat!”
“Haneeda's classroom was comfy and welcoming, and she kept us entertained while instucting us. The food was delicious, and we left with a good understanding of how to recreate the dishes at home. Our family had to travel a bit but we enjoyed the morning together, and I hope to return if there are any flatbread classes in the future.”
“5 of us went today (Sunday at 1pm). It's small, but there was seating available. Our server was nice. Really great portion sizes. Everyone left stuffed and satisfied.Vegetarian options: Eggs, pancakes, French toast, waffles, salads, etc.”
“If you ever get a chance to stop by The Brickhaus food is great and the service. Clean environment and the French toast is off the chain. And folks prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get I had breakfast for two days with my meal. Kudos to John and his wife the owners of The Brickhaus.”
“This place is good! I get take out a lot because I live so close. The sushi is always fresh and takeout never takes long before it's ready. A little pricier than other places around though.”
“Incredible pizza! The staff is fantastic and the options are all uniquely flavorful. Loved that we could do half and half pies so we could try as many flavors as we could. Ravaneso is an unmatched pizza experience, with incredibly fresh ingredients.”
“Recommend: gumboOk: crawfish beignetStopped by for the gumbo and a special of the week. Gumbo is nice but a bit salty. The beignet didn't need the sugar in my opinion since the dough was savory, but it went nicely with the sauce.”
“was super delicious but jesus christ is it expensive for what you get ? and their meal doesn't include a drink so you have to pay more for one.Edit: After coming back a 2nd time this place is just amazing. It's my fault for being broke, they deserve every dollar for the food they make!”
“Mike & Emm’s is a family institution in Delco. The best meatball sandwiches around ( made fresh by hand every day they are open). You can tell they take pride in their work because every sandwich is made with love. My family has been going here for years and it shows because the owners remember you always. They never disappoint!”
“One of the best subs I’ve tried!!! Such a hefty portion, too. Get the cheesesteak! Service was awesome, such friendly staff. The inside is definitely a vintage sub shop feel. And after you get your sub, go down to the Governor Printz park two blocks away to have a picnic and watch the planes from PHL depart. :)”
“I got the Big Deal burger and it was absolutely amazing. The combination of fresh ingredients, sauces and the texture of the patty was out of this world. You can tell that Delectablez puts a lot of heart into their food, and they’re doing it differently than most plant based establishments. I was sorry to have finished my food so quickly, I could have gone for seconds. I will definitely be coming back and telling others about this place!!!”
“My family typically eats here once a week/every 2 weeks. Great food, excellent portions, great customer service, short wait times. I ordered 50 breaded wings for my sons birthday party and they were gone in minutes lol sooo good! They also have the BEST BBQ chicken pizza i’ve ever had.”
“Quaint ice cream shop with a tremendous number of flavors. Coco-loco has a great toasty coconut flavor. You can tell this product is made with care and quality ingredients. Staff was very helpful as well.”
“A little pastry paradise in Swarthmore. Everything we had here was delicious. Our only regret was not showing up earlier to get to try some of the customer favorites. For sure will be coming back asap.”
“Our family have visited both for takeout and have eaten in. So we ordered their catering for our daughter’s first birthday! It was PERFECT! We had brisket, pulled pork, and sausage! Our family and friends kept asking where we got it and told us how great it was! Everyone is so nice and helpful at Tanglewood. Can’t wait to have another party and get it again!”
“food is always fresh and tasty! the space isn’t well climate controlled so be prepared for that. it can be often crowded and there are about 20-25 seats. The staff do make bowls differently but the amount is typically always the sameDietary restrictions: I am celiac and I haven’t had any issues, I always double check and stress it is an allergy not preference.Parking: I recommend walking if possible or a garage parking option”
“We heard good things about this place! It was amazing. Food was different flavorful creative! Drinks like the Drunken Irishman was very tasty. The Mimosa towers looked awesome. Definitely the place bring your gang! Sunday brunch was terrific! It’s a well oiled machine from service to food!”
“My wife and I had a delightful breakfast here on a Tuesday morning with her three siblings. Passed this place for many years without knowing about it, but am glad to add it to our places to eat breakfast, or lunch. Just a few parking spots out front, but drive along the left side of the building to get parking out back.Service was quick and very attentive. Our meals arrived promptly, and the three members of our party who had “changes” to their vegetable omelets all got exactly what they ordered. I had the eggs Benedict and it was great.Cash only, but there is an ATM on site. If you know where the Brusters ice cream store is located - Meghan’s is right across the street.Parking: About six spots out front, but more available behind the restaurant.”
“We love this place but we're disappointed that we scheduled a premium wine tasting and no one bothered to tell us that they couldn't do it until after we arrived. We were really looking forward to that new experience.”
“While every experience at Salem Oak Vineyards is worthy of a 5 star review, they've truly outdone themselves with the Breakfast Boards and Mimosas! The food was delicious and plentiful, so go hungry! Our group of 6 people sampled 4 o the 5 available boards and we still had leftovers. The cannoli dip with the French toast sticks was phenomenal and the lemon lavender mimosa paired nicely with the breakfast assortment. The service was top notch, super friendly and fast, yet we never felt rushed. Thanks for a great day SOV. See you soon, Danna”
