“This is a great little strip mall restaurant that serves excellent Thai food.Good:Food: we had satay, pineapple curry chicken and shrimp pad Thai. All were flavorful and as good as we have had in both Bangkok and Ching Mai.Service: the young man who was our server was friendly, responsive and gave good recommendations. He maintained his good demeanor even though he was the only person out front - doing pickup order as well as managing the dining room.Bad:Ambience: the place is kind of dumpy. A coat of paint and better wall hangings would really helpLocation: hard to find. No sign. It is in-between a liquor store and a soon to open sushi place. Very close to the Sav-a-lot. They really should get a proper sign.Overall, 5-stars b/c they excel at what matters (food and service)”
“Great food & pleasant staff! Always a great choice when you're in the area.Kid-friendliness: The staff were very kind & engaging with my 5yo grandson”
“Been coming to this place ever since they first opened in pennsville. The service has always been great and the food has been amazing. Prior to the time that they’ve been opened. They have been adding more food onto their menu like, “Elotes and Esquites”. Both are corn mixed with mayonnaise, Mexican cheese and tajin which I love. Anywho, this place is worth going to try in case anyone who isn’t familiar with the area.”
“I don't want to rate the atmosphere as yet since I haven't really sat down and fully experienced it, so I will leave it blank and update once I've had the experience. I can say the food and service are wonderful. I've been eating with them since before they moved always so nice and delicious food!Parking: There is a very small amount of spaces, and they're at a funny angle, too.”
“I ate at the Orient Chinese Restaurant passing it several times on my trips through Pennsville. It is the type of restaurant by the front appearance that you would not give a second glance to but trust me you are missing a great meal if you do. The food and the service are excellent! I stopped in for a quick dinner on my way home and had a Beef and Broccoli combination platter with Hot & Sour Soup, the main dish with Pork Fried Rice and an Egg Roll. Everything was delicious and the food was so well spiced. The Beef and Broccoli was especially good in that they must have used a combination of soy and Hunan sauces for the dish. It just had that extra tang to it. The fried rice was wonderful and studded with pieces of roast pork. The Hot and Sour Soup had a nice pinch to it with peppers giving it an extra kick. The service was very nice, and the food came out quickly as the restaurant was not that busy when I ate there at evening.”
“Great neighborhood mom and pop deli for the essentials during bad weather. Rachel's has very good breakfast, lunch and dinner sandwiches. Homemade soups and lottery is available for the gambler. This store has also had two million dollar plus winners. Stop on by if you are in the area and you can also call your order in ahead so it's ready for pickup.”
“Order over the phone then pick up or go there order and take home or go there pay a low amount and eat an amazing buffet....whatever you choose will be the best cause great food is great anywhere and fyi your almost guaranteed to get something extra in your order so my kids continue to be amazed like daddy what'd we get this time! 100% Recommended to and for everyone. Love these people like family when I go there and they barely know me.Kid-friendliness: Kids are picky at least I know mine are and they make your order how you want it exactly.”
“We have been going to Gus's since about 1980 for Texas Weiners. We then lived around the corner, but tonight drove 30 miles for them. So focused have we been that it wasn't until we checked the web to see if they were still there that we discovered how vast their menu is.We enjoyed the Crab and Shrimp Bisque, a bit spicy and not the best we've had but very good. The breaded mushrooms are up to standard. As to the weiners, I've never had the like elsewhere, and they were worth the trip--although next time I might explore more of the menu.”
“I order a thin crust pizza with extra cheese. No need for extra cheese. Flavor was spot on. Crust done just right. I also ordered a slice of Sicilian. I was a true Sicilian slice. Can't find it any other place in town as good as this as far as my opinion. I did not eat in, but it was good and hot.”
“Everything was exceptional! The atmosphere was very clean, the service was full of smiles and the food was well made and really good! Even the bread rolls for the sandwiches were fresh. I will definitely be back and encourage others to try it. You won't be disappointed!”
“My experience here was excellent. The owner actually works the counter and he was very nice. Sandwiches were very delicious and gave me a discount since I was there daily on my way to work. Recommend”
“Was always told by friends that this place was worth the 50 min drive , so we gathered up some friends and decided to try it out. Pulling up it's tucked away in a not so desirable part of town but the property is well maintained and sticks out like a sore thumb. Entering the grounds you're met with large firepits and a nice view of the water, making our way into the indoor seating area it's all metal shipping containers, there's a bar and you order your food from an online site and your number comes up and you pick up your food. The service seemed fine, there's wasn't a whole lot of interaction with servicers besides picking up food and walking to the bar for drinks but it was fine no issues there. The food was good, we all basically ordered most of the menu and all kinda of picked from what we wanted, It is however pretty expensive. You can reserve fire pits I believe it was $200 for 4 hrs, my buddy handled that and I can't remember what he said. At the end of the day we had a great time, we played cornhole and watched the boats go by complete with a nice sunset. We will return however it is to far for us to become regulars.”
“Pat's has several locations; I frequent the one in Pennsville. It is clean, is good, and the prices are reasonable. Seating is spacious. In my opinion, they have the best pizza- thicker crust, lots of cheese, and good portions. The menu offers plenty of lunch and dinner choices. Finally, they give senior and group discounts, making it a good choice for your group get together eating in , take out or catered.”
“Me and my ex-Father in law take the grandkids there all the time when we visit them for birthdays and holidays. Breakfast is always good and the waitresses are friendly and the service is great. My favorite is the waffles w strawberries and my 3 grandaughters love the pancakes.Kid-friendliness: The waitresses r always great w the girls.Wheelchair accessibility: They have wheelchair access.”
“I haven’t tried their food yet. Just stopped by to meet friends for drinks after work. I loved the space and the service and attention was top notch. Will definitely be back.”
