The Shipyard is a scenic and lively restaurant that offers an enjoyable outdoor dining experience. Located along the banks of the Delaware River, it features stunning views of the river, the Delaware shoreline, and the Delaware Memorial bridge. The venue combines indoor and outdoor spaces, with a bar, two dining options, lawn games, a sandy beach area, and plenty of space to relax. Leashed and friendly pups are welcome to join guests for a beer garden–style experience. Visitors can choose to sit inside the bar with garage doors rolled open for the breeze, gather around firepits, or lounge on driftwood at the beach. The indoor area is equipped with mister fans to keep cool, and the indoor design includes metal shipping containers. The food is good but on the pricier side, and guests can reserve fire pits for a fee. Beyond dining, The Shipyard offers recreational activities like cornhole and ping pong, and there’s a small beach and river access, making it a great spot to watch boats sail by. The bar is lively, with service split between drinks being delivered and customers picking up their food. Many visitors enjoy the spectacular sunsets here and often return, especially in the spring, to soak in the great ambiance and scenery. Live music, TVs for sports, and the perfect views of sunset add to the vibrant atmosphere, making it a favorite spot to relax and have fun with family and friends.
