“The food was great, but the location is unparalleled! Plenty of parking and it's in a quiet neighborhood, so there is free street parking if it's a really busy night. There is live music all the time, and it is right on the river. I mean, if you don't watch your step you'll go for an unexpected swim in the Delaware! The fire pits make for a wonderful atmosphere in the evening.“

Second I’ve yet to eat or drink something here I would not recommend, but, I have some favorites for sure- Dharma, OM, power yogurt bowl, always Iced coffee with oat milk. “This past June 2026, my husband and I had a private event in the Parlor Room of Catherine Rooney’s and we could not be happier with how it turned out! The Parlor Room itself is a great space, cozy but still spacious at the same time. We comfortably fit a crowd of about 40 people without issue. We ordered the hummus platter, chicken tenders, nachos, cheeseburger sliders, and pulled pork minis. The food was delicious and it was more than enough to feed 40 people. We had 2 servers, Emilia and Joey, who were so incredibly attentive and professional. In terms of planning and organizing, we worked with Katie and Kristen who were phenomenal. The price for the event was more than fair, and far more reasonable than other restaurants within trolley square (i.e. Oyster House). Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would definitely hold future events at Rooney’s!“

“Today Probation & Parole got the best treat ever, the Mojo Loco truck was made available for us. I'm a picky eater but was pleased to see so many amazing food options. The aroma coming from the truck was divine so I couldn’t wait to try the food. I got the crab fries. I was excited to hear they use real crab meat because that makes a difference. They were AMAZING!!!!! I was so full, but I couldn’t stop eating them because they were just that good. The guys running the truck were beyond friendly and welcoming. This was a great experience, and I will 100% be a forever faithful customer.“
