“Amazing place to hang out, good music, fun yard games, great view, never feeling rushed can just come and go and hang out. Such a great vibe. My only complaint is that there's some kids that come and throw rocks/branches into the river, go in the river, run around and are a little crazy and some parents just allow that sort of behavior, but that's not really the fault of the Shipyard“

“I’ve been going to Karma for months now and realized I’ve never taken the time to post a review. First, some wonderful people work here. Second I’ve yet to eat or drink something here I would not recommend, but, I have some favorites for sure- Dharma, OM, power yogurt bowl, always Iced coffee with oat milk. “So we found liquid alchemy at the Sager bounds Oktoberfest within the last eight years or so.
We spent more time at that time than any other time in October fest as a rule of thumb
And now finally, a decade later, we get to the location to be thrilled by the staff, the nerd forward, decor, and total Chillaxx environment.

“My wife and I went for the first time while visiting from Ohio. We loved the atmosphere and the food. The beer selection is spectacular. I cannot recommend the lingonberry ice cream enough, that stuff is amazing.“

“We held a celebration of life for my husband this past weekend. Joe was great to work with. The venue was perfect. The food was delicious and the service was great. We had more people attend than planned. They were able to keep up with the demand for more food.. Shout outs to Tyler, Denise and Amy whose service was impeccable. “This past June 2026, my husband and I had a private event in the Parlor Room of Catherine Rooney’s and we could not be happier with how it turned out! The Parlor Room itself is a great space, cozy but still spacious at the same time. We comfortably fit a crowd of about 40 people without issue. We ordered the hummus platter, chicken tenders, nachos, cheeseburger sliders, and pulled pork minis. The food was delicious and it was more than enough to feed 40 people. We had 2 servers, Emilia and Joey, who were so incredibly attentive and professional. In terms of planning and organizing, we worked with Katie and Kristen who were phenomenal. The price for the event was more than fair, and far more reasonable than other restaurants within trolley square (i.e. Oyster House). Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would definitely hold future events at Rooney’s!“

“Today Probation & Parole got the best treat ever, the Mojo Loco truck was made available for us. I'm a picky eater but was pleased to see so many amazing food options. The aroma coming from the truck was divine so I couldn’t wait to try the food. I got the crab fries. I was excited to hear they use real crab meat because that makes a difference. They were AMAZING!!!!! I was so full, but I couldn’t stop eating them because they were just that good. The guys running the truck were beyond friendly and welcoming. This was a great experience, and I will 100% be a forever faithful customer.“

“This is the best Chick-fil-A in my area! Their staff is always friendly, the food is almost always made correctly, and is fresh. And they almost always provide plenty of sauce. Ordering on the app and hopping in the drive thru is the way to go! However, if you choose to sit inside, their tables are always clean, staff is walking around and making sure you’re having a good experience!“

“(Man, please don't make me regret these 4 Stars.) This li'l spot is exactly what it promises to be: a corner shop with super delicious grub (surprisingly even including fresh salads and things like salmon burger platters) at a price you can't EVEN complain about... Also as expected, tho, there's always some Lunch Special you don't know about until you get there, and there ain't a reliable online menu to be had-- the Crew must be confused by Brown Bag's 5K meal options, too, because they're good for giving you inconsistent info for phone orders (but in a friendly way). Their fries are the ones you really wanted, and I'm a big fan of their cheesesteak platter.For the neighborhood, for the Carvel Bldg, and for Redding, Brown Bag is an awesome standby.“

“The food is amazing and everyone there is so friendly!! I had breakfast there. The fish, grits, and eggs. The flounder was nice and flaky with amazing seasoning, the grits were creamy, and the eggs were nice and fluffy. I WILL be going there again and I highly recommend you try it.“
