“Upon arriving in the city of brotherly love and in need for a place to unwind, I reached out to noted tastemaker Ron from Delco. He suggested I head to Hangman Brewery if I was up for a little drive. Apparently this was Kevin Hayes's favorite spot until they stopped serving Mountain Dew Code Red. Well, Hangman did not disappoint! Immediately I was greeted by a dog (nice) and the unmistakable vibes that are only accompanied by live music. Things only got better as I visited the food truck for some sliders and pickles that can only be described as "quite good." The shining star of the visit was the robust selection of beers which also earn the designation of "quite good." Hangman earned a stamp of approval from Ron from Delco and I'm happy to say it has earned mine as well.“
“I was excited to visit Scout for the first time on Monday and LOVED its cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The menu has some wonderful and interesting selections -the sandwiches especially are not something you would find at another café around here. I tried the grilled cheese and added grilled chicken. It was like no other grilled cheese I've ever had, and it is by far the best sandwich I've ever had anywhere (not exaggerating- I had to hold myself back from going to get another one the next day). Well done Nick and team! I'm excited to become a regular customer!“
“This is by far one of the best plant based restaurants in the area! The staff is always friendly. The service is top notch. I've had everything on the menu and can't pick a favorite because I love them all. The food is so fresh & delicious! I would recommend Green Box to anyone that enjoys delicious food.“
“I met up with a friend here on a Sunday afternoon. I never had mead before so we both were very interested in experiencing a new taste. First, the place has a very cool and interesting mix of antiques and vintage decorations. There is a cabinet with all kinds of bottles, collectables about Wilmington, DE brewing history....which I loved! Great atmosphere. All the staff was very helpful and friendly. We did a flight of mead drinks which were very interesting to taste and experience. We wound up enjoying the cider that they brew. Im not a big cider guy guy but, it had a great burst of flavor and was delicious. Deep Routed cider was our favorite. They had a food truck there as well. We just had drinks but, it looked like a hip food truck.Overall I would definitely recommend trying this place. The drinks were very refreshing and super tasty. The owner was on site and very informative. He is definitely passionate about his mead and cider production. It shows when you drink his products. I have been back and you can grab a growler to go and they give you back reward bucks too. Great unique place definitely worthy to check out. It has a nice coutyard outdoor space which looks very inviting come springtime.“
“As someone who loves dessert, I wanted to have something extra for our wedding. I also thought the idea of a food truck at a wedding was a lot of fun. I came across Gotta Lotta Gelata. My now-husband and I went to try some flavors with Petra and brought a few pints home, which disappeared pretty quickly. Having the Gotta Lotta Gelata truck come to our wedding was definitely a highlight. Everyone loved it and it helped make our wedding memorable. Petra is great to work with as well!“
“I've been visiting Auburn Road Winery for a few years and it's always a great experience! The wine is excellent, the pizza is top notch, and the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. This is by far my favorite winery in the area!“
“Every time I have a cherry water ice with vanilla custard, I reminisce. It has been in my life for over 25 years, and it tastes the same since the first one way back when. These bad boys are the signature boop bop straight from pound town in my eyes. You must get the pretzel too especially if your from the Philadelphia area.“
“We took visiting family to dine here. They enjoyed it. The food was excellent and the drinks were top shelf. But be prepared for a timely visit. Getting food to the table took awhile even though it wasn't crowded the night we went. So really good food, nice place but do it when you have time.“
“Went for lunch with my son. We ate on the patio. It was cozy, quaint. Beautiful weather made it even more enjoyable. The food options were great; different from the same old same old. The waitress was busy but brought our drinks and food in a timely manner. Can’t wait to go back.“
“Nice atmosphere, very good service, menu is small but includes a good variety of dishes. My husband loved his short ribs; my salmon was tasty, but there was too much salt in the risotto, pancetta, and vegetable side dish that comes with it. The glasses of Prosecco we had were very good.Tiramisu was ok.“
“Perfect spot for dessert. The variety of flavors available was simply astounding. It felt like a paradise for ice cream! The ambiance of the shop is another aspect worth praising. Nostalgia mixes seamlessly with modern comfort, making it an ideal place for families, couples, and friends to gather. The prices were reasonable given the exceptional quality and portion sizes. All in all it was a remarkable experience!“
“This quaint old tavern has plenty of comfort food options such as roast beef and meatloaf mixed in with salmon and shepherds pie. There is a fine selection of spirits and beers as well. Located in old New Castle it is quick walk from any parking area. I had the salmon while friend had the fish and chips. Peach cobbler for dessert with vanilla icecream. While a bit expensive you do receive a huge portion of food and it also comes with two sides. Our server Shauna was quite pleasant.“
“Even in the middle of winter, this is a bright and sunny place to visit! Acai bowl was excellent, and their fruits are really fresh. Service was friendly too. Can't wait to try some other things off their menu -- they said that they make their own ice “
“We had been meaning to stop in here for a while and we finally got the chance to. The atmosphere is really cozy. We ate upstairs. The service was slow the night we were there but they were undermanned so I am sure it's faster most other nights. The food was decent. I really enjoyed The Rachel Sandwich. It's a nice little neighborhood place.“
“One of my weekly go-to spots for smoothies & breakfast sammie’s. Clean, fresh ingredients, friendly staff. I usually DoorDash to my office and it arrives within the half hour…. Love the bacon, egg & cheese cut diagonally like my mom used to (lol) and the morning star smoothie!“
“This place is hidden in plain sight, but well worth the stop. The ice cream is delicious and they have plenty of flavors. The prices are reasonable for the quantity and quality of ice cream you get. We enjoyed our visit and will return for more.“
“Really enjoyed this place. This might just be my new break spot. The atmosphere was amazing even though it was a bit noisy but I enjoyed it very much reminded me of a NYC food hall definitely a great touch didn’t know this place existed out here glad I found it. I stopped by Al Chu sushi and let me tell you the sushi is bussin bussin had my favorite spicy crunchy tuna and it was on point. Probably best sushi in DELWARE there I said it! Can’t wait to try the other vendors!“
“Very chill atmosphere. The service by the time we sat til we left was superb. The margaritas were good! I ate all my food cause it was that good. I would definitely recommend. Not sure why we waited so long to try this place. Dylan ( hope I spelled it right) was great! Great recommendations and kept checking on us. Will be back and might actually ask for him next time cause he was awesome. Hard to find good service at restaurants and he didn't let us down.“
“We ate outside on the back lawn under lovely huge trees. It was a perfect evening, and a few others were outside at tables also. None of us were on top of each other so you felt comfortable and private. Food was very good, interesting combinations and very tasty.“
“Great beer!! Cool building. Unfortunately, the bartender was blatantly cold, rude, and off-putting. Yikes! Made me feel super unwelcome, despite me trying to be very nice and smiley. I even attempted to strike up friendly conversation. I said “thank you” to him about a dozen times and never got a response.. at all. Zilch. Laughably rude. Notably, it was a very slow night, so it wasn't like he was busy.I drove 30 minutes to try this place while in town, and left feeling disappointed and self conscious. Wishing this very cool brewery the best. All they need is better bartending. It’s sad to see a bad-mood employee tarnishing the presentation of their hard work. Very tasty beer for sure!! ? 4 stars because the beer was a top notch!! Worth the trip over here even if the experience overall wasn’t good.“
“The food at pachamama was amazing. As a fellow Peruvian, it’s so hard to find somewhere that has such amazing, authentic food. My husband and I got the lomo saltado with beef empanadas. We also got the churros for dessert. Everything was amazing and the service was also great. I do wish this place was open until later but I will definitely be back!“
“Came for date night and it was amazing! We got one of each app, the bucatini, the filet and the affogato with the red velvet cheesecake to end the night. Bucatini was incredible! Where we were sitting - we saw the chef through the window making the pasta fresh. The lobster and the sauce on it was to die for! We were surprised with how much lobster was given. Filet was a perfect medium rare! We cleaned our plates. Wine was obviously delicious. Service was great! Would come back again for sure :)“
“Great food, great city location for parking garage, excellent waitstaff, no delays. They asked what brought us out on a rainy night, I told them we were seeing a show at the playhouse, as it was a birthday gift for my wife. When we ordered dessert, the waitress brought out a sparkler candle and told us the dessert was on the house! We will be back many times!“
“A lovely Italian restaurant bordering Trolley Square. The service is immaculate as the servers are very attentive and provide anything you need. The food was tremendous and the the drinks were good, although I’d suggest broadening the beer on draught considering draught beer pairs so well with the menu items. We were a larger party so we requested they leave pitchers of water on the table so we wouldn’t have to bother the waitress for water so often, but apparently the owner has a policy of no visible pitchers because it’s a “poor aesthetic.” Anyway we saw plenty of pitchers placed just feet away on a surface way more visible than our dining table.Parking: Shares a parking lot with a few other businesses so spots close to the restaurant are hard to find sometimes.“
“Hosted a baby shower at Fellinis and it was the best experience!! The workers at Fellinis were so kind, attentive and helpful. They helped us in the cold with moving in decorations, and offered help for set up. They had many tables and space for our decorations and gifts brought! The food was delicious, everyone enjoyed their meals!! It was so easy to have the baby shower there due to Fellini’s staff! Would recommend to anyone looking for a good spot.“
“This location is THE BEST place to go for Rita's. The servers are polite, quick, and respectful. I have been to a few other Rita's locations, and will NEVER go back there. Bad attitudes and shoving a TIP screen back at you when you use a debit card doesn't sit well with me. There were 3 girls serving. They were fast and courteous and each one of the girls actually smiled. Outstanding location.“
“The food is great never had a bad meal or appetizer. They are creative with the menu. The salads are great! Burgers are sooo good. Cheese steaks come very close to the philly style. The pretezel and cheese sauce omg the best!!!! Service is awesome ? and the environment is always good vibes. Zac is my favorite bartender. He has great energy and always get my order right!!! I love the selection of beers and the diversity of choices. One of my favorite places to eat.“
“writing a review on my favorite bartender at catherine roonies who is no other than miss steph, her energy is unmatched and always brings the biggest smile to every guest, not to mention she makes the best lemon drop martinis, 12/10 rating i love her so “
“Have you ever wondered what gourmet oatmeal might taste like? Is so, order it here. And while you are at it, get the smooth chocolate smoothie. It is exquisite and there is a perfect balance of chocolate and peanut butter. Under $40 for a family of four with great portion size. Keep up the good wotk folks! This one's a keeper.“
“I stopped in for Saturday afternoon brunch, which is an odd concept for me. I have been to this location through a bunch of owners, going back to 1992. The current people have it set up well, very clean and well lit. I got the Classic Benedict and a side of eggs. The Benedict part was great, with the caveat that the English muffins were difficult to cut. It came with homefries that had more spice than I like, but only a tiny bit. The side of eggs was served sunny side up, though I had ordered over medium. They were still good. I spoke with the bartender, who was also the one who took the order at the table, and it sounded like an honest mistake from not hearing me correctly. I had a few mimosas and belinis, added another standalone side of bacon and an order of fried Oreos. The drinks were perfect. The bacon was crispy. The fried Oreos had ice cream on them and some version of whipped cream. Everything turned out great. The brunch prices were very good, too. So, if you get the chance to stop in for a brunch, try it out.Parking: There are parking spaces all around the place.Wheelchair accessibility: I don't know whether there is still a wheelchair accessible entrance in the back of the upper section, but there is a curb cut and ramp by each front door. The lower section has the better wheelchair accessible bathroom. The transition from upper section to lower is a set of stairs, so anybody trying to go from one section to the other in a wheelchair pretty much has to go out one front door and come back in through the other front door.“
“A group of us were in town for a dance competition and needed something better then hotel food. You were very accommodating, friendly and our food came out quickly. Everyone in the group said the food was good and I agree 100%. if we get back to this competition I'm coming back for more “
“Was staying at a nearby hotel and saw this place on Google Maps. So glad i stopped in! It's a Ukranian Bakery with tons of homemade delicious pastries, pies, and sandwiches! I wanted a bunch of things, but went with a Peach turnover and chicken salad sammich. Coffee good too :)“
“BBC hosted our monthly Ladies Luncheon. There were 37 of us and everyone agreed that it was fantastic! Victoria was our waitress and she accommodated us above and beyond. Kudos also to Ashley for working with us in the early stages of our planning Orders were taken, food was out in less than 15 min, first served to last served was less than 12 min. She was on top of the drink refills, food getting to the right table, clearing as people finished AND we were able to do individual checks, which ran very smoothly. The food was delicious! Many of us had never been there, and many of us will definitely be back!!“
“Working here in Logan Township is a pain in the rear end because all the food in this area is horrible. BUT THIS PLACE... PHENOMENAL!!! Great lunch prices, awesome portions, quality meats that are tender and cooked to perfection. I came here for the first time last week and order the chicken Chipotle nachos, mac and cheese, crispy chicken sandwich, lemonade (which is tasteful unlike that awful minute maid everyone else serves), and strawberry donut. Everything was great. The lady running the register was very pleasant, a sweetheart. Greeted us as soon as we walked in and helped with recommendations. I've tried food for the last few years at Green tea Chinese, classy cow joint, Applebee's, wawa, fast food, Red Hen, cicontes, papa luigi, center square tavern, and have been tired of being disappointed with my food. Looking forward to go back. My only wish is that they start serving their lunch specials on Saturdays as well.“
“The food is absolutely wonderful. I have eaten here five times. I have chosen a different menu item each time and all of my food was excellent. The salmon cheese steak with tiny bits of broccoli was sublime, sounds odd but was fantastic. The service is casual walk up style but attentive. The decor is funky, mod looking, making the best of a renovated former gas station. Summertime is best with the outdoor patio and live music.“
