My wife and I went for the first time while visiting from Ohio. We loved the atmosphere and the food. The beer selection is spectacular. I cannot recommend the lingonberry ice cream enough, that stuff is amazing.

My friend and I took a girls road trip today and ended up in New Castle. We decided to try Jessop's Tavern for lunch and absolutely loved it. Friendly warm atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious lunch! So glad we decided to stop in. We will definitely be back!

Went to Jessop's on Sunday for a late lunch...very busy which is usually a sign of a great place to eat..the food was so good..I had the salmon with real mashed potatoes (rare!) and a vegetable medley that was divine...the salmon was perfectly cooked and served on a bed of spinach and a fruit chutney...I was in heaven.
